Chapter 443 The Third Prince Reincarnated as a Pig?

Chapter 443 The Third Prince Reincarnated as a Pig?

The emperor is much calmer now than before. He has thought it over and over again and realized that he doesn't have to believe everything the sorcerer says.

He wouldn't believe she had married someone else until he found the Empress.

So now whenever he has free time, he summons Master Zeng to the palace and asks him to search for people.

Master Zeng's compass would always be scrambled by the end of each calculation.

Finally, the compass has been stabilized.

"Your Majesty, we've found them! Your Majesty!"

The emperor suddenly stood up and strode over to him. "Have you found the empress?"

Master Zeng smiled and said, "Your Majesty, it is not the Empress, but the Third Prince."

"Third Prince? Could it be that the Third Prince is not with the Empress?" the Emperor asked, somewhat puzzled.

Master Zeng looked at the compass and said, "The divination results are indeed as described. It is probably for some reason that the Third Prince and the Empress have separated."

The emperor looked slightly disappointed.

Master Zeng then said, "Your Majesty, don't worry. Once we find the Third Prince, we'll be able to find the Empress, won't we?"

The emperor nodded thoughtfully. "You're right. Quickly, show me where the Third Prince is now."

Master Zeng carefully examined the divination results and said, "His Highness the Third Prince is currently in the capital."

"The capital?! Quick, look where in the capital it is!" The emperor's face was full of excitement. Finding his third son meant that he was one step closer to finding the empress.

Master Zeng followed the compass for a couple of steps and said, “Your Majesty, please come with me.”

"Please lead the way, Taoist priest." The emperor followed behind him, respectfully asking him to lead the way.

Master Zeng, holding the compass, strode outside.

The emperor followed behind him with a group of eunuchs.

They boarded a carriage, left the palace gates, and arrived on the streets of the capital.

Looking at the people coming and going on the street, the emperor asked Master Zeng with a puzzled expression, "Master Zeng, could it be that my third son is on this street?"

Master Zeng glanced out of the carriage, staring at the compass in his hand, and said, "Your Majesty, please don't rush. Follow me."

The compass needle wobbled slightly, about to point towards Zhou's incense shop.

The emperor lowered the carriage curtain and waited patiently.

"Your Majesty!" Master Zeng exclaimed in surprise.

The emperor snapped out of his daze and asked him, "What's wrong? Did you find it?"

Just as Master Zeng was about to speak, the compass needle, which had been stationary, started moving again and pointed in another direction.

He quickly replied, "We haven't found it yet, Your Majesty. We need to leave the city."

The emperor was immediately disappointed and gave a few instructions to the eunuchs outside the carriage, telling them to follow Master Zeng's words.

After a short while, the compass in Master Zeng's hand finally stopped.

He was overjoyed and pointed outside the carriage, "Your Majesty, we've found him! The Third Prince is right here."

Without a second thought, the emperor jumped off the carriage.

As soon as he got off the carriage, he smelled a foul odor, but he didn't think much of it and strode towards the farmhouse in front of him.

One by one, the eunuchs behind them caught up.

"Your Majesty, please wait!"

"Your Majesty, please be careful!"

"emperor!"

The emperor was now only focused on finding the person and paid no attention to them, striding inside.

However, when he saw what was inside the room, he froze on the spot.

The three rooms in the farmhouse courtyard were empty, with plump white pigs enclosed by fences.

This is not an ordinary farmhouse at all, but a pig farm belonging to a family next door.

There weren't many pig farmers in the capital, and the only one that was found by the emperor.

As a gust of cold wind blew up, a foul odor wafted towards us.

The emperor covered his mouth and almost gagged.

Master Zeng was also stunned by the scene before him. "How could this be? The compass is not wrong! The Third Prince is indeed here!"

The emperor was furious, feeling he had been tricked. Pointing at the plump, white pigs, he shouted at him, "Are you trying to tell me that the Third Prince here was reincarnated as a pig?!"

Master Zeng immediately knelt down and said, "Your Majesty, this humble Taoist did not mean that. The compass must be malfunctioning. Please allow Your Majesty to give this humble Taoist another chance!"

The emperor looked at the pigs. If it were any other time, he would have sent someone to cut off the sorcerer's head right now.

However, considering that he had cured his illness, he decided to trust him one more time. "Alright, I'll trust you this once. I'll give you ten more days. If you still can't find it, I'll chop you up and feed you to the pigs!"

Master Zeng bowed and kowtowed, saying, "Thank you, Your Majesty."

The emperor turned and left in a huff, stepping in pig excrement as he went.

After he left, Master Zeng collapsed to the ground, looking at the compass in his hand with a puzzled expression.

"How could this be? My master said that this compass either can't calculate anything or it will calculate incorrectly. Where exactly did things go wrong?"

Just as he was racking his brains trying to figure it out, Lord Ruan also learned of the matter and sent someone to bring Master Zeng back.

"You! You were so careless. Why didn't you check it yourself before taking the emperor there? Look, the emperor has lost trust in you now."

After a moment of contemplation, Master Zeng turned back and said, "Lord Ruan, the most important thing now is to find Miss Ruan."

Lord Ruan frowned and said, "Why did you bring her back?!"
