The emperor grabbed her and pulled her up. "Do you know where she is?"
Consort Wu sneered, "Of course I know where she is. I sent people to hunt her down years ago. I thought she had been killed by my assassins, but who knew she was still alive."
"Where is she?" The emperor asked excitedly, pulling her close to him.
Consort Wu gripped the dagger piercing her chest and pushed it in little by little, the pain rendering her speechless.
The emperor panicked immediately, grabbing her hand to stop her from pushing the dagger further, while simultaneously ordering the eunuchs and attendants beside him, "Quick! Summon the imperial physician! Quickly!"
Consort Wu raised her bloodied lips and slowly closed her eyes. "Come here, and I'll tell you where she is."
The emperor was overjoyed and quickly leaned over to listen.
Consort Wu's face grew increasingly pale. Her lips trembled slightly, stained with blood, as she slowly uttered, "She is...she is..."
The emperor held her tightly and listened attentively.
