Chapter 52 Someone Wants to Steal Fish

Chapter 52 Someone Wants to Steal Fish

Meng Laosan and Meng Laosi stared at the scene before them, speechless for a long time.

"That's not right. We clearly heard them say that they caught the fish from their own pond."

Grandpa Meng slapped Meng Laosan on the head, "You idiot, you believe whatever he says? Maybe they didn't catch those fish from here!"

"Where did you fish it from?" Meng Laosan asked, frowning in confusion.

Grandpa Meng slapped him on the head again, "You're asking me?! Who am I supposed to ask?! Let's go home!"

Meng Laosan and Meng Laosi turned around and went home dejectedly.

Just then, Aunt Meng suddenly saw something moving in the stinky pond and quickly called out to them, "Grandpa, come and see, there really is something in this pond!"

Grandpa Meng was startled. "Could there really be fish?!"

Aunt Meng smiled excitedly, "Shall we go down and take a look?"

Meng Laosan said with a look of disgust, "Mother, this pool water stinks, I don't want to go in."

Aunt Meng frowned. "Look at you, so pathetic. Zhou Zhao and Zhou Feng can go down, but you can't?"

Looking at the green, stinky pool water, Meng Laosan felt nauseous. "Mother, it really stinks!"

Meng Laosi glanced at it as well and said, "Yes, Mother, let's hurry up and leave. Maybe there aren't any fish in there at all."

Aunt Meng snorted coldly and said, "Look at you two, you're really useless. Those are fish, you know. Buying one would cost quite a few copper coins. All you have to do is go down and touch it!"

Grandpa Meng also said, "Third Brother Meng, you go down and take a look."

Meng Laosan and Meng Laosi lowered their heads, not daring to reply.

Taking advantage of their inattention, Aunt Meng shoved the two of them, sending them both tumbling down.

Meng Laosan and Meng Laosi fell into the stinking pond and started splashing around, shouting, "Mother, what are you doing?!"

Aunt Meng shouted sternly at them, "Hurry up and catch the fish!"

Hearing this, Meng Laosan and Meng Laosi had no choice but to endure the disgusting stench and search for fish in the pond.

Ripples spread across the surface of the pool.

Meng Laosan rushed over immediately, grabbed something with his hand, and actually caught it.

He exclaimed with delight, “Mother, I think I really caught a fish!”

Aunt Meng was overjoyed and called out to him, "Quickly, throw the fish up here."

Upon hearing this, Meng Laosan grabbed the creature by the tail and hurled it forcefully toward the shore.

Aunt Meng quickly reached out to catch it, but what flew towards her was not a fish at all, but a small crocodile with its teeth bared.

She was stunned. By the time she came to her senses, the ferocious little crocodile had already landed in her arms!

"My goodness! What kind of fish is this?!" Aunt Meng fell to the ground while holding the baby crocodile, struggling in terror.

The little crocodile's eyes lit up when it saw the person in front of it, and it bit directly at Aunt Meng's buttocks.

Aunt Meng screamed in pain, "Ah! Help! Old man, help me!"

When Grandpa Meng saw the ferocious crocodile, his jaw nearly dropped, and he ran away like a rabbit without looking back.

Aunt Meng, twisting her buttocks which were being bitten by the little crocodile, shouted at him, "Grandpa! Come back here right now!"

Upon hearing her voice, Grandpa Meng ran faster and faster, but he tripped and fell, losing his shoes in the process.

"Grandpa, help!" came another shout from behind.

This time, Grandpa Meng didn't even bother with his shoes and ran forward as fast as he could until he disappeared from sight.

Meng Laosan and Meng Laosi, who were in the stinky pond, were both stunned.

My dad, who usually complains of getting tired after walking just a few steps, can run faster than a rabbit.

The two of them huddled in the stinky pond, too afraid to get up.

Aunt Meng's buttocks were still being bitten, and she hurriedly cried out to her two sons for help: "Third son, fourth son, please help your mother! This monstrous thing is going to bite me to death!"

Meng Laosan and Meng Laosi submerged themselves in the water and whispered to her, "Mother, didn't you say you wanted fish? This crocodile is a fish too, so you can keep it and take it home!"

Aunt Meng was in so much pain that she couldn't speak. After hearing her two sons' words, she was so angry that she almost bled.

She lay on the ground, struggling in agony, until she lost consciousness.

Even at this point, Meng Laosan and Meng Laosi still didn't dare to come up and take their mother away.

The little crocodile didn't leave until it got dark.

Meng Laosan and Meng Laosi then carried Aunt Meng back home together.

These two people must have been soaking in the stinky pool for too long, because they smelled terrible all over.

When Dr. Xu came to treat Aunt Meng's injuries, he almost vomited.

Fortunately, the little crocodile wasn't big, and Aunt Meng only had a piece of flesh bitten off her buttocks.

However, the news quickly spread throughout the village that the Meng family went to someone else's pond to catch fish and were bitten on the buttocks by a crocodile.

After hearing this, whenever the villagers passed by the Meng family's door, they would look at Aunt Meng's backside.

They all wondered what it would look like if a piece of flesh was missing from that buttock, and whether it would even be able to support its pants.

Aunt Meng was both embarrassed and angry, and didn't dare to go out for several days.

When Aunt Zhou and Du Wanchun went to the mountains to pick flowers, they met Aunt Wang, who told them about this incident.

While speaking, she clutched her stomach and laughed, "Sister Zhou, you didn't see how ugly Meng's husband looked clutching his butt. You know, she and her husband aren't young anymore, how come they keep doing this kind of thing!"

Aunt Zhou laughed and said, "They deserve it. They've been making things difficult for us for the past few years, so they deserve to suffer a bit."

Aunt Wang nodded and said, "Yes, back then, that old man Meng even wanted to take you as a concubine. Didn't he ever take a piss and look in the mirror to see what he looked like? What a filthy old man!"

Aunt Zhou nodded. "That's right."

Du Wanchun listened from the side and got the gist of it.

At this moment, Aunt Wang turned to the side, pulled Du Wanchun's arm, and said with a smile, "Wanchun, have you heard about your stepmother?"
