Chapter 605 Miss Ren screams in agony
Miss Ren sat down slowly, a smile in her eyes. "Yes, of course I'll go, but I'll go later. What if the Emperor sends someone to rescue this little maid if I go too early?"
The maidservant shut her mouth, lowered her head, and whispered, "Yes, Miss."
Miss Ren fiddled with the handkerchief in her hand for a while, then, feeling a bit bored, leaned against the back of a tree.
The tree behind is a large cypress tree that is more than ten meters tall.
The tree is lush and leafy, and sunlight shines through the leaves in dappled patterns.
Miss Ren waited for a while, then grew impatient. She waved the handkerchief in her hand and looked up at the entrance to the maple forest. "Why hasn't this little girl encountered any wolves yet!"
The young maidservant stood to the side with her head down, not daring to speak.
Ms. Ren kicked the tree twice in frustration, then looked up at the sky. "It's still not dark today."
After she finished speaking, she leaned against a big tree, closed her eyes, and took a short nap.
After an unknown amount of time, Ms. Ren felt an itch on the tip of her nose. She opened her eyes slightly and saw a large wasp perched on the tip of her nose.
Her pupils widened, and she suddenly stood up, shouting, "Wasps! Ah! Wasps!"
At her shrill cry, the wasps slowly took flight, attempting to fly towards the tree.
In her fright, Ms. Ren grabbed a fan from the side and swung it hard at the wasps without thinking.
The wasp crashed into the fan and slowly landed. Just as it was struggling to get up, Miss Ren stomped on it, burying it in the mud.
"Miss!" the maidservant called out to her hurriedly.
Miss Ren looked up, her body still trembling, "What are you all doing? Didn't you see there was a wasp here just now?"
The maidservant looked at the wasp that had been trampled to death under her feet and exclaimed in surprise, "Miss, why did you trample the wasp to death? I heard that everything on Moon Spirit Mountain has a spirit, so you can't mess around with it."
Miss Ren, with an arrogant expression, moved her foot away and glanced coldly at the wasp on the ground. "What kind of spirit is it? A wasp is dead, so be it. Who told it to bother me?"
After saying that, she immediately had the servant change the direction of the cushion and sat down to continue her nap.
Miss Ren was still angry because the little maid had taken the blame earlier. In the past, she lived alone in her hometown and was naturally fiery. Now that her appearance had changed so much, Lord Ren treated her like a precious jewel, and she had also developed a bit of the spoiled air of a young lady.
The little maidservant stepped aside, not daring to say another word.
Miss Ren sat down, and was just about to scold her when two more wasps flew in.
"Ah!" She sat up in surprise, and perhaps because she moved too much, she accidentally bumped into a tree.
With her impact, the leaves of the tree rustled.
The servants and maids rushed over, asking, "Miss, are you alright?"
Miss Ren pointed at the two flying wasps and said, "Quick, kill those things for me, quick!"
The maid who had just advised her ran over and said, "Miss, let's go first!"
Miss Ren was already angry with her, and pushed her down forcefully: "They're just two wasps that disturbed my rest. Kill them both."
The other servants and maids dared not disobey, and they all took fans and sticks to swat at the two wasps.
In the chaos, someone accidentally hit a big tree with a stick.
As the tree trembled, a huge hornet's nest suddenly fell down, landing right next to Miss Ren.
Miss Ren was shocked and quickly took a few steps back, pointing at the huge hornet's nest, stammering, "What, what is this?"
As soon as she finished speaking, hornets emerged from the hornet's nest, flapping their wings and looking at her.
A servant shouted, "Miss, this is a hornet's nest! Run! So many hornets could kill people!"
Miss Ren was still standing there, trembling.
The other servants had already scattered in a swarm.
The maids also retreated in fear.
"Miss, climb up quickly!" Someone shouted, and swarms of wasps rushed out of the hive, flying towards Miss Ren in a dense, uniform mass.
Miss Ren panicked this time and turned to run towards the carriage, shouting, "Someone! Quickly drive away these wasps!"
Several brave servants stepped forward to drive the wasps away, but there were simply too many of them, and they couldn't handle them at all. They had no choice but to drop what they were carrying and run down the mountain.
Miss Ren, lifting her skirt, ran wildly towards the carriage, but just as she lifted her foot, she tripped over a stone and fell heavily to the ground.
The wasps swarmed around her, stinging her face repeatedly.
"Ah! Help! Help!" Miss Ren cried out for help as she rolled on the ground in pain.
Unfortunately, the servants and maids either fled or were swarmed by wasps, so no one dared to go forward to save her.
Only the little maid who had just advised Miss Ren not to do anything hid behind the carriage. No wasps came looking for her. She trembled and didn't dare to look up at Miss Ren's screams. She wanted to help, but she was too weak to go forward.
After an unknown amount of time, the two escaped servants brought torches.
As the firelight shone, the wasps immediately fled the spot, leaving behind only the unconscious Miss Ren.
Miss Ren's face was covered in wasp stings, and it was swollen like a pig's head.
Fearing that Lord Ren would be displeased, the servants and maids immediately carried her into the inn and hurried down the mountain.
Miss Ren had been expecting Little Mianmian to encounter a wolf, but she ended up being carried off first.
As for Xiao Mianmian, she did indeed encounter a wolf.
It was just a very obedient little white wolf.
White wolves are very rare. When Xiao Mianmian saw it, she thought it was a dog. Before Qiao Meiren could react, she had already reached out to touch its head.
This startled Qiao Meiren. "Princess, be careful!"
