Chapter 95 Black Hair

The brother and sister snuggled together and chatted about random things.

Sometimes, Li Wei would burst into exaggerated laughter in the yard, mostly because she was amused by Li Cheng's funny comments.

Sometimes, Li Cheng would chuckle, usually because Li Wei started bragging about her irrelevant "heroic deeds" again, and she spoke very seriously.

Occasionally, the two of them would start to tease each other, exchanging sharp words, and they actually enjoyed it.

The sunlight shines through the gaps in the leaves, casting mottled spots of light on them, which is very warm.

Beep...

Outside the yard, a short car horn suddenly sounded.

Li Wei subconsciously raised her wrist and took a look at the women's watch inherited from Jiang Xue.

Time...is almost up.

Almost at the same moment, Li Cheng gently slipped out of her arms.

The small body stood in front of the swing, looking up into Li Wei's eyes.

His voice trembled slightly: "Li Wei, after you leave this time, will it take a long time for you to come back?"

Li Wei pinched her fingers and pretended to calculate, then tried to comfort him in a relaxed tone: "Well... probably only one or two years? It won't be too long."

"When I become a top master, I'll come back and personally teach you how to practice. How about that? I guarantee you'll make rapid progress!"

Li Cheng didn't say anything, but just lowered his eyes silently, but his small hands tightly grasped the hem of Li Wei's skirt. He looked listless and listless.

Li Wei felt a little uncomfortable seeing him like this, but she still forced a smile and rubbed his head: "Come on, you're just a kid, why are you so sentimental? You're making it seem like we're parting forever."

She suddenly remembered the "Moment of Beauty" that she had bought at a high price, and a smug smile appeared on the corner of her mouth.

"Just cooperate with the treatment and take care of yourself."

"I've built a huge fortune for you! When you start cultivating your blood in the future, your starting point, wow, will be so much higher than mine!"

[Of course, it’s the “me” before I started cheating...] Li Wei added silently in her heart.

Hearing this, Li Cheng still lowered his head, and his small nostrils twitched slightly.

Finally, he couldn't hold back the tears any more, and they slid down from the corners of his eyes, landing on his clothes and leaving a small dark mark.

He pursed his lips, his voice thick with nasal sounds, a little embarrassed and aggrieved: "Li Wei, you've been gone for so long, if I...if I miss you, what should I do?"

Li Wei waved her hand nonchalantly and raised an eyebrow. "How difficult is that? Don't you have my graduation photo? Take it out and look at it when you miss me! Oh, my damn, uncontrollable charm... What a sin."

Li Cheng still lowered his head and murmured in a voice as thin as a mosquito: "That's not you..."

His voice was too soft and intermittent, mixed in with the chirping of cicadas and the sound of the wind. Even with Li Wei's five senses that far surpassed those of an ordinary person, she couldn't hear it clearly.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Li Wei asked.

"Nothing." Li Cheng shook his head quickly and wiped his face with his hand.

Ding!

There was another whistle, even shorter than the last time, as if it had just uttered one syllable before being forcibly cut off.

Li Wei took a deep breath, and finally touched Li Cheng's soft hair, and her tone became more serious: "I'm leaving, Zha Cheng."

Li Cheng slowly loosened his grip on her skirt. Just when Li Wei thought he would say something goodbye, he suddenly raised his head and said with an extremely serious look, "Li Wei, can you give me some of your hair?"

Upon hearing this, Li Wei's face immediately turned black. She looked at him speechlessly, "I say, you little brat, what kind of weird things are you thinking about? Do you really think I'm going to die and never come back? And you still want to keep some hair as a reminder?"

Li Cheng was unexpectedly stubborn, his eyes firm as he repeated word for word, "I just want it!"

That serious look made Li Wei's heart soften inexplicably.

She sighed helplessly, put her right index and middle fingers together like a sword, and with her left hand, she grabbed a strand of long, smooth, black hair from beside her ear. Her blood flowed, and she lightly scratched it with her fingertips.

A small piece of black hair broke quietly and fell into her palm.

Li Wei carefully wrapped the strand of hair around her fingers a few times, tied a small knot, and handed it to Li Cheng: "Here, for you! I'll fulfill your little wish."

Li Cheng's expression instantly became extremely serious. He carefully stretched out his hands, as if holding some rare treasure, and took the strand of hair.

Then he took out a brocade purse embroidered with simple patterns from his trouser pocket.

Then he gently opened the drawstring of his purse, carefully placed the strand of black hair inside, and then carefully tightened the drawstring.

Li Wei was stunned watching from the side, her eyes widening. "Oh my god! Zha Cheng, you're amazing! You even prepared the equipment in advance? You must have planned this all along, waiting for this moment?"

Li Cheng stuffed his purse back into his trouser pocket, patted it, and then raised his head. The tearful look on his face was gone, replaced by the dead fish eyes that Li Wei was very familiar with.

"You can go now." He said lightly, his tone calm and peaceful.

Li Wei's mouth twitched fiercely, and her expression changed faster than turning the pages of a book!

She reached out her hand unhappily and pinched his slightly plump face hard.

Feeling the chewy touch, he turned around contentedly and strode towards the fence gate.
