The once bustling International Trade Center was now deserted, without a single person in sight.
The lower-ranking investigators who were not selected for the second wave of rescue operations surrounded the entire building.
Especially at the entrances and exits, there was a guard every five steps and a sentry every ten steps. The expressions of every official warrior were awe-inspiring and murderous.
But there are always people who don't fit in.
At this time, a row of luxury cars were parked in the square at the main entrance of the International Trade Center.
In front of the luxury car, a dozen young people gathered together.
The man in the lead had a red, freshly permed and dyed hairstyle.
She was wearing a flirty pink floral shirt and bright yellow shorts with dragon patterns.
On his feet, he was wearing a pair of dark black unicorn-head combat boots that didn't match his style.
If it’s not Zeng Yi, then who else could it be?
The group of people of his age around him were dressed as strangely as he was.
There was a thin and gentle man in a suit and glasses carrying a Qinglong Yanyue Sword that was taller than him.
The patterns on the blade are simple and ancient, shining and colorful, and it is obvious that it is not an ordinary product.
There was a sunny boy in casual clothes, wearing a domineering golden battle armor over a high-end T-shirt.
Although the style of the armor is old, it faintly exudes a heavy earthy aura and is as solemn as a mountain.
There was also someone who was dressed normally, but was holding a small bronze tripod that he had taken from some museum, the purpose of which was unknown.
Zeng Yi himself was armed to the teeth.
On his left arm was a silver-gleaming arm guard with a ferocious Taotie pattern carved on it.
The Taotie's mouth was wide open, and its head was exaggeratedly inlaid with three gems the size of pigeon eggs, which sparkled brightly.
In his right hand, he tightly grasped a jade ruyi that was only about a foot long. The jade was warm and translucent, and there seemed to be a green light flowing inside.
There were jingling sounds around the waist and layers of ornaments around the neck, with at least seven or eight ornaments of various shapes hanging on them.
Even around his ankles were tied a pair of chic golden bells.
Whenever he moved, he would emit a series of strange ringing sounds that would make the heads of low-level warriors buzz.
Any small item in the hands of these people, if it were to be released into the outside world, would be enough to cause social warriors to be beaten to a bloody pulp.
Seeing that everyone was present, Zeng Yi cleared his throat and puffed out his chest.
When he thrust forward, the huge breastplate hanging on his chest, which could serve as a mirror, suddenly reflected a strong light, almost blinding the eyes of his companions.
"Brothers!" he shouted at the top of his lungs, with an inexplicable heroic tone in his voice.
"Why are we here today?" He looked around with an expression between serious and funny on his face.
"For Brother Dazhi!" The guy carrying the Green Dragon Crescent Blade immediately responded in a loud voice.
"To save my sister-in-law!" the man carrying the bronze tripod shouted even louder.
Zeng Yi nodded with satisfaction.
"That's right! For brother Dazhi! For sister-in-law!" He emphasized.
"How does Brother Dazhi treat us normally? There's nothing to say!"
"My sister-in-law is in trouble now, can we just sit back and do nothing?"
"No!" everyone shouted in unison, angrily.
"Okay!" Zeng Yi waved his hand, and the jade ruyi in his hand almost flew out.
"Let's charge in today and rescue my sister-in-law!"
"What rifts, what abyssal monsters, let's flatten them all!"
He said this with great authority, and with his attire, he looked like a bandit leader.
"Go in and kill them!"
"Save my sister-in-law!"
A group of young people were so excited by him that they were ready to rush into the Ringmao.
However, they were stopped before they even stepped through the gate.
"Please stay, everyone." One of the investigators stepped forward, his tone was polite but his attitude was firm.
"Martial law has been imposed on the International Trade Center. No unauthorized persons are allowed to enter or leave!"
"What the hell? You're saying I'm irrelevant?" Zeng Yi pointed at his nose with the jade ruyi, "Do you know who my father is?"
The investigator's expression remained unchanged, and he simply repeated, "Sorry, no one other than you is allowed to enter."
"Huh?" Zeng Yiqi laughed. This was the first time he was treated so disrespectfully by someone.
"You dare to stop me? Do you believe that with just one phone call from me, your boss can come and open the door for us?" He took out his cell phone and pretended to dial.
As a result, these words not only failed to scare the security guards, but instead attracted the guards who had been observing the situation from behind to come over.
They formed a human wall, their expressions grim and murderous, staring at Zeng Yi and his group in a way that made them feel a little uneasy.
Zeng Yi took a half step back, looking a little embarrassed and annoyed. He quickly dialed the phone.
"Hey, Dad! I..." Zeng Yi shouted angrily.
Before he could complain, a majestic, exasperated male voice came from the other end of the phone: "You little bastard, are you capable enough? You dare to steal things from my house?"
"I want to help Brother Dazhi save his sister-in-law!" Zeng Yi answered as a matter of course.
"You're just a second-level warrior, why are you causing trouble?" Zeng's father was furious. "I've always told you you're unlearned and unskilled, yet you still refuse to admit it?! If a high-level divine weapon could be brought into a C-level rift, would the Investigation Bureau be so anxious?!"
"Ah?" Zeng Yi was confused.
He looked around, holding up his cell phone, and looked at the guy carrying the bronze tripod.
Knowing that he was a studious boy among his brothers, he asked, "Do you know about this?"
They were all warriors, and the volume of his cell phone microphone was loud, so there was naturally no need for him to repeat his father's words.
The man raised the bronze tripod in his hand and said, "So I only took a fake divine weapon."
