Chapter Twenty-Three: Signing the Contract (Please bookmark and follow for more reading)

When Gala and Mark started to get stuck in the bottom lane and were even afraid to defend the tower, it was already a sign that the game was over.

Ah Le, looking at the words that had been entered on the computer screen, was somewhat bewildered.

No, I haven't even had a chance to play my part yet, how could I have lost?

This is what they call a "carried away loss," because this game had little to do with the top lane.

Even though Ah Le has an advantage in the top lane, he can't break through GimGoon's strongest defensive shield!

GimGoon was playing Mordekaiser in the top lane, and even after dying once, he could still easily take on two opponents around the turret, which meant that Ale had no chance to make any impact.

However, DMO's bot lane has been completely dominated by FPX's mid and jungle.

When Gala finished the game, he had a score of 1/5/2, while Mark's Rakan had a score of 0/6/4. The bot lane had died eleven times, which had completely overwhelmed Gala and Mark.

In his previous life during S9, Yang Jingyu had never arranged a scrim with FPX. This scrim taught him a harsh lesson: FPX's four-man gank on the second tier is invincible in the current version.

The top laner withstands pressure, and after pushing the mid lane, they coordinate with the jungler to gank the opponent's bottom lane.

Every game, it's a four-on-two situation, with five opponents playing the game. When team fights break out, two of those five opponents are reduced in strength, turning it into a three-on-five situation. How can you even play like that?

To be honest, even in Season 13, people still get confused when they think of the four-man gank strategy that FPX used back then.

To find a solution to FPX's four-man gank on the second lane, the entire league gathered for intense discussions and came up with a countermeasure.

That means if FPX uses a four-man gank on the second lane before FPX, then their four-man gank on the second lane will fall apart.

As for preventing Doinb from getting lane-pushing heroes, to be honest, there isn't a single normal hero in Doinb's hero pool. The only way to prevent him from getting lane-pushing heroes is through a global ban/pick!

Then, what should you do if he plays a normal mid-lane hero and tries to gank you even when he's not in lane?

As for FPX's four-man gank on the second lane ahead of time, this is a tactic that FPX is in a class of its own and no other team can learn. This is why they have been able to dominate this season.

Yang Jingyu took a deep breath, put on his headset, and said to Warhorse on the other end of the headset: "Coach Warhorse, that's not fair! You're taking advantage of our bottom lane, how are we supposed to play like this? If you keep using this tactic, who will be your opponent this season?"

Warhorse laughed and said, "You can't blame us for that. If you're so capable, then break our tactics, and we'll come up with something new to play with you. If you can't break them, then we'll just keep using these tactics."

That's absolutely right. If a set of tactics can consistently lead to victory, why change it?

If the strategy has been cracked, changing tactics is perfectly understandable.

Moreover, the four-man gank strategy currently used by FPX is not yet fully mature, and WarHorse is still working on filling in the gaps.

Even though the four-pack two-pack strategy is not yet fully mature, it has already utterly defeated DMO.

As for tomorrow's opponent, it is LNG.

FPX is absolutely confident now, having secured their first victory against the team that handed them their first loss in the Summer Split.

Yang Jingyu took a deep breath and said, "There's no need to fight anymore. I can't break your four-man gank on two right now, but I will definitely find a way to deal with this tactic."

Warhorse had no objections, since if they couldn't break the four-man gank, there was no point in playing another game.

As for Yang Jingyu's suggestion to resolve the "four-man gank" issue, Zhanma simply smiled on the other end of the headset.

Although Yang Jingyu is a respectable coach, it is absolutely impossible for him to crack FPX's big moves for all teams in the Summer Split.

It wasn't that Warhorse looked down on Yang Jingyu; it was that he knew that even if he and Doinb had developed this tactical system, they wouldn't be able to find a way to break it.

Because FPX has the chosen player Doinb in the mid lane, they can pick countless unconventional heroes to appear in the mid lane.

This match was extremely frustrating. The most frustrating part wasn't actually the bottom lane; being ganked in the bottom lane was a feeling of helplessness.

Twila in the mid lane was the worst off, as Doinb didn't even bother laning against him, making it feel like Twila was playing a single-player game.

It doesn't seem quite right for you to have a Cassiopeia player roaming from the start.

If they don't roam, then their teammates in the bottom lane will suffer greatly.

Every time Twila planned to support the bottom lane, bad news would already be coming from the bottom lane. It was as if he was tied to the mid lane, always several steps behind Big B, and he couldn't be restricted from roaming at all.

At this moment, they had so much to say, but when the words reached their lips, they didn't know what to say.

Seeing their hesitant expressions, Yang Jingyu comforted them, "Alright, I know how you feel right now, but it's all in the past. We can't beat FPX yet, so we can go see how other teams play against them first, and then think about how to deal with them. Don't think too much about it now, go out first, A-Le and I have something to talk about."

In response, Gala and the others had no choice but to leave the small dark room.

After sitting down, Yang Jingyu looked at Ale who was standing and said, "As you can see, this is DMO's lineup, and we won't be changing any other players for the time being. It's hard to say what our ranking will be this season. Our goal is to get into the playoffs first. The responsibility for losing this game isn't yours. You already had an advantage in the top lane. However, the enemy top laner is GimGoon, so it's unlikely you can completely dominate him."
