Chapter 30 Golden Swallow

Chen Afu recalled the scene carefully and felt that the swallow seemed to have flown out from the palm of her left hand.

She looked at the scar on her palm and silently chanted, go in, go in, go in...

Suddenly, she was in another space, except that she was not standing on land, but riding on a tree branch.

There was also a particularly pleasant fragrance floating in the air, which was quiet and beautiful. It made her, who was already exhausted, feel refreshed, and her somewhat stiff body seemed to be much more relaxed.

She looked down and saw that the trunk of the tree was very thick and slightly tilted, requiring two adults to hug it. The bark of the trunk was scabby and had many black "wounds" on it, as if it had been pecked.

This tree is not pretty at all. This kind of appearance would be considered useless even in the secular world, and it is a pity that it grows here.

There was a circle of land under the tree, with many tree roots protruding out, making the ground look uneven. The land was not big, about the same size as the treetop, and was surrounded by white fog.

What kind of space is this? The circle of land is so small, and there are so many tree roots, it is impossible to grow fruits, food or medicinal herbs.

Chen Afu was extremely disappointed.

She looked up at the tree again. The tree had thick branches but not many leaves. It wasn't that the leaves were sparse, but just not dense. The leaves were green and long. She didn't recognize it and didn't know what kind of tree it was.

Suddenly, she found some golden lights on the branches. When she looked more closely, she found that the golden lights were actually small houses carved out of gold.

She counted them and found nine in total, with different shapes, including round, square, polygonal, and one that looked like a pyramid. The small houses were magnificent, exquisitely carved, and beautiful. But they were all very small, about seven or eight centimeters high, and only thirteen or fourteen centimeters in diameter or length. She reached out and picked up the small round house closest to her. It was still a little heavy, and she estimated that it weighed at least half a pound.

The house was so exquisitely carved that even the joints of the bricks on the walls were clearly visible, and the small animals on the corners of the roof were even more lifelike. There were doors and windows, and patterns were carved on them. The door lintels were decorated with gems such as rubies, cat's eyes, and diamonds. When you opened the door, you could see carved railings and painted columns inside, and a semicircular light green bird's nest on the ground. This should be the bed of the swallows.

Chen Afu dared to conclude that even the sculptors in his previous life would not have had better craftsmanship than this.

Thinking of the bloody hole on Er Laizi's face and the swallow's enthusiasm for iconic buildings, she guessed that these houses were probably pecked out by the swallow's beak.

Other swallows build their nests with mud, but this one builds its nest with gold.

What a great local tycoon architect!

After Chen Ahfu finished praising, he became happy again. Oh, my God, this fortune is so direct. There is no need to grow medicinal herbs, fruits, or food. This small house is worth at least a thousand gold. And the green bird's nest inside is definitely more valuable than white bird's nest or blood bird's nest.

Chen Afu was secretly delighted when suddenly a black light flashed before her eyes and the swallow that appeared in her dream flew in front of her.

It opened its mouth and said, "It is shameful to dream of gaining something without working for it. Put down my golden house quickly. It is my house. Don't think of selling it for money."

The voice sounded nice, but the content was not pleasing at all. However, Chen Ahfu was still full of gratitude to this little thing that saved him.

She quickly put the Golden House down and said with a smile, "I didn't mean to sell your house. I was just curious and wanted to admire it." She waved at it again, "We've known each other for a long time, but I don't know your name yet. My name is Chen Ahfu, what's yours?"

Xiaoyanzi greeted Chen Ahfu politely, "Hello, Mama Fu. I'm Jinyanzi, nicknamed Jinbao."

Fu Ma? This title is too tacky.

The golden swallow ignored Chen Ahfu's entanglement and flew to the land. It flapped its wings a few times, and two jade-inlaid red gold hairpins and a gold bracelet fell out of its wings. It also said to itself dejectedly, "This little gold is only enough to make a door. I have to steal more times."

The child said "steal" as confidently as he said "buy".

Chen Ahfu also slid down the tree, looked at the gold jewelry and asked, "Did you steal it?"

Jin Yanzi raised her head, stretched and shrank her neck, and snorted coldly, "I don't steal, but buy? Stupid!"

After saying that, he spread his wings and lay on the ground, with his pointed beak half open, looking very uncomfortable.

Chen Ahfu squatted down and observed it closely. The swallow had green eyes, a golden beak, chest and belly, a black back and wings, and black hair with a faint golden glow. If the wings were folded, the body would be the same size as an ordinary swallow, but if the wings were spread out, the wings would be much wider than those of an ordinary swallow.

She looked carefully at the small pointed mouth, which was as sharp as a cone and flashing with golden light - no, it was cold light.

Chen Ahfu smiled flatteringly, "I'm stupid, it's my fault. I didn't let you see the light of day in my previous life. I'm sorry for wronging you." He then discussed, "Jinbao, I'm so poor now. I haven't eaten meat for several days. Can you think of a way to help me earn some money?"

Jin Yanzi rolled her eyelids, glared at me, and chirped, "I chirp, chirp, you have offended me to the core, and you still want me to help you make a fortune. How is that possible?"

Well, let's talk about this later. Let's calm the little guy down first to facilitate better communication. Chen Ahfu coaxed him softly, "Jinbao, you are a little swallow, cute and gentle. Why are you more impatient than those chirping sparrows in my yard when you talk? This affects your image."

Jin Yanzi really listened to it, and stood up straight, saying aggrievedly, "Fu Ma, it's not that I don't care about my image, I'm really angry with you. For so many years, I stayed in this space alone and couldn't get out. When I was hungry, I ate tree bark, when I was thirsty, I ate leaves. I also lived in the old house. Life was lonely and hard to bear."

The murmurs were sweet and tender, even sweeter than Chen Dabao's tongue, which couldn't even be straightened, and melted Chen Afu's heart.

She quickly apologized sincerely, "Yes, I'm stupid and locked you up for too long." Seeing that the little thing had softened, she continued to inquire, "Jinbao, other people rely on the space to make a fortune. But my space is too small, I can't grow food and medicinal herbs, and there is no spiritual spring. How can I make a fortune?"

Jin Yanzi looked at her with contempt and said, "Mummy Fu, you are wrong. This space is mine, not yours. Because I follow you, the space is with you. The relationship chain between the three of us is like this, the space is mine, and I am yours. Also, you cannot take anything on this tree, including the leaves."

So that's how it is. Not only is this space waste, it also doesn't belong to me.

Well, if it's not mine, then it's not mine. It's already a blessing from God to have such a powerful golden swallow.
