"Is that the leopard?"
Chaoge was gently stroking the black panther's head and whispering to it, when Jun Yumo's voice suddenly rang out behind him.
"Why are you here again?
Isn't it breathable? Don't worry about me. "
Jun Yumo felt that she was not as good as the leopard in her hand.
He came here because he was worried about her not leaving the carriage for a long time, and now he was being rejected again.
"I'll take you for a walk around here. Your legs won't be able to bear it if you stay in the carriage for too long."
As he spoke, Jun Yumo stretched out his hand. This time, he did not carry Chaoge down from the carriage in a domineering manner, nor did he forcefully hold Chaoge's hand. Instead, he waited for Chaoge to grab his hand himself.
Chaoge looked at the hand stretched out to her. In the dim carriage, Jun Yumo's face seemed to have endless patience with her.
After hesitating for a moment, she finally placed her hand on his.
Under the moonlight, the corners of Jun Yumo's lips unconsciously rose a little, and his mood became joyful.
Fortunately, Lao Liu’s books were not burned, so they are still quite useful.
Chaoge is not a heartless person after all. He has always cared for her. He just doesn't believe that this woman doesn't care about him?
However, as soon as Chaoge got off the carriage, she let go of his hand.
I was so excited just now, but before I could feel happy for a few seconds, my hands suddenly felt empty...
Take your time, they have a long way to go.
Jun Yumo could only comfort himself in this way.
The journey was relatively safe, but what Chaoge didn't know was that while she was sleeping soundly on the couch, a man was carefully by her side, gently hugging her all night.
One hand rested under her neck, and the other hand gently stroked her already visibly bulging belly.
Jun Yumo did not sleep all night and did not dare to move at all. The faint fragrance on Chaoge's face challenged his patience for the whole night.
He just felt it was so magical that there was already a new life in Chaoge's belly, and it was his and her child.
Child, in a few months, that child will really appear.
When he grows up a little more, he will start to call himself daddy and her mother in a soft voice.
Perhaps, it was because he knew that Chaoge was pregnant with their child under such circumstances that Chaoge still chose to let the child come into this world.
His friendship with her was one of necessary responsibility at the beginning, and in the end he even felt a little more grateful.
Grateful for her life-saving grace, grateful that under such circumstances she was willing to give birth to their child.
And now, he seemed content just holding her.
"You like simplicity, so I will give you a simple life."
While Chaoge was sleeping, Jun Yumo quietly gave her a kiss on the forehead.
That night, Chaoge slept particularly comfortably, feeling an inexplicable sense of security surrounding her.
When I opened my eyes again, it was already noontime the next day.
Looking outside, the sun already high in the sky, Chaoge really admired his own sleepiness.
"Jun Yumo, you didn't sleep all night?"
Looking at Jun Yumo, who was dressed neatly and even his hair was not messy at all, Chaoge looked at him suspiciously.
"I slept for a while, but I had some things to deal with, so I woke up."
"Aren't you just a general? Why do you have so many things to deal with?
Where are we now? How far is it to Lingfeng County?"
"We'll be there in two hours. Let's wash up and eat something first."
She was taken care of meticulously again, and even her hair today was combed by Jun Yumo himself.
"I'm sorry to have wronged you. You haven't even gotten married yet, but you have to wear your hair in a bun like a woman.
Also, don’t say you are a widow anymore.
Unless you are cursing me."
Jun Yumo felt angry when he thought of Chaoge always saying that she was a widow.
Chaoge smiled awkwardly: "We haven't gotten married yet, so how can I curse you?
If I don't say I'm a widow, do I say I had an affair and gave birth to such a child?"
“You are really good at talking.
Later, I will select two personal maids for you from the capital, and things like tying your hair will be left to them."
"Don't do that. I don't like being waited on."
"You have to get used to it. Even if you don't like it, once the child is born, can you do everything by yourself?
Or let your sister take care of you?"
Chaoge thought about it and it seemed so.
My good sister doesn't want to be treated like a nanny by me.
"I will take care of the maid's matter myself. You don't have to go to such great lengths to find her in the capital."
The two chatted about daily life, and after Chaoge woke up, Jun Yumo no longer dealt with official documents.
Obviously two strangers, they were suddenly forced together. Chaoge realized that Jun Yumo was actually quite good at bringing up topics and finding things to talk about.
The atmosphere was so harmonious, as if the two had been husband and wife for a long time. Chaoge didn't realize something was wrong until she returned to her newly bought yard in Lingfeng County and Jun Yumo was about to go in.
Has she often tacitly accepted the relationship between Jun Yumo and herself?
"My things are your things, so won't you let me live in your yard?
Do you want me to stay at the inn?"
“Why not?
Isn't there an inn you run in this county town?"
"Woman, do you know that I'm going back to the capital soon? Don't you want to spend a little more time with me?
You're actually driving me away?"
