Chapter 21 Clash of the Two Sons

After washing up, Li Zixiao came downstairs and saw a group of chefs and assistants standing timidly at the door with their hands behind their sides. Seeing that the kitchen doors were closed, he asked coldly, "Who's in there?"

The head chef bowed in a flustered manner and stammered, "Young Master, it was...it was...President Li."

Li Zixiao frowned, quite suspicious that the Li family's kitchen would soon catch fire.

"Pour me a glass of milk," he casually ordered, then picked up his laptop from the front of the room and climbed into the high chair next to the dining table.

His fingers still had the fleshy feel of a child, but just by looking at his bone structure, you could tell that these delicate, fair hands would definitely grow to be very beautiful.

Like Li Zhanting, Li Zixiao has a sharp tongue but a soft heart. He seems indifferent to everything, but he knows clearly in his heart who is the most important person to him.

After typing a few lines of code on the computer screen, he quickly found the IP address of the hacker who had infiltrated the Li Group yesterday, and successfully cracked his virtual address, gaining direct access to the inside and intercepting the other party's signals.

Gu Jingxing, who had already returned to Jiupin Mingyuan, jumped up from the sofa after receiving the system notification!

"Who? Who intercepted my signal!" He ran to the computer, both angry and curious, and began to negotiate with the other party.

After several rounds of competition, he discovered that his opponent's skill level was comparable to his own, and even somewhat surpassed it.

"Who are you? Why are you blocking my signal?" He finally couldn't hold back and spoke to the other party.

Upon receiving the message from Gu Jingxing, Li Zixiao replied expressionlessly, typing, "Give me back the money you stole."

Gu Jingxing gritted his teeth in anger at the other party's behavior of skipping over his questions and instead questioning him. "I won't give it back! Come and get it yourself if you dare!"

"childish!"

"I'm childish? How old are you?"

"Age is not a standard for judging a person's ability. Others may not be able to find you, but I have." This is probably the longest sentence Li Zixiao has ever said.

His words exude absolute confidence and authority.

Seeing the other party's provocative reply, Gu Jingxing angrily typed on the keyboard, "What's so great about you! Don't talk to me like some old man in his seventies or eighties!"

"Don't talk to me like a little kid." Li Zixiao retorted.

Gu Jingxing was so angry that he didn't want to reply. He slammed the computer shut down and ordered the system to cut off the power. Li Zixiao's messages were cut off instantly.

But after calming down, his interest in Li Zhanting grew stronger.

He never expected that Li Zhanting's subordinates had such capable people who could intercept his signals.

But he also knew that this person was definitely not from the Li Group.

Because if he had been there yesterday, he would never have been able to steal ten million from the treasury so easily.

After Gu Jingxing turned off his computer, he heard clanging and banging sounds coming from the kitchen, and skipped and hopped into it.

Gu Momo was wearing a white shirt and khaki suit pants, her hair casually tied up with chopsticks, and she was making soup in the kitchen.

From the time Gu Jingxing could remember, one of his three meals a day was always prepared by his mother.

No matter how busy she is, she will always cook him a bowl of soup.

Sometimes, he felt that his mother was like a superhero, not only managing the company so well, but also finding time to spend with and take care of him.

Children who can be mothers are so lucky!

Gu Jingxing felt more and more touched as he thought about it. He kicked his chubby little legs and ran to Gu Momo's side, hugging her leg. "Mommy, do you need any help?"

Gu Momo's feet sank, and she looked down to see her son come in. She quickly put down the soup spoon in her hand, patted his little head, and said, "No need, you can go out and wait. You can eat in a little while."

"Okay." Gu Jingxing obediently ran out.

Twenty minutes later, Gu Momo carried out the freshly cooked deer antler and ginseng soup and stir-fried organic vegetables.

Just as she finished serving the soup, her phone rang on the table. The caller ID showed Li Mo, and she answered the phone.

"Mr. Gu, we've got news about Uncle Fu, whom you've been looking for!"

Gu Momo's hand holding the soup spoon trembled slightly, and she almost dropped it to the ground.

Uncle Fu was once the housekeeper in his mother's family. When his mother married his father, Gu Zhenting, he came to the Gu family with his mother.

Uncle Fu watched his mother and himself grow up, and to Gu Momo, he was like family.

"Where is he?" Gu Momo asked, her tone unusually urgent.

"At...the central hospital in the capital." Li Mo hesitated, and Gu Momo had already guessed what was going on. "Is he sick? Is his condition very bad?"

"Yes, Mr. Gu, I'm afraid only you can save Uncle Fu in his current condition..."

Gu Momo took a deep breath. As the Ghostly Doctor, there were people all over the world looking for her. She shouldn't have appeared in such a conspicuous place as the Central Hospital. However, she had already regarded Uncle Fu as family.

After her mother's death, she was framed and forced to leave the capital for five years. During that time, she never stopped searching for Uncle Fu.

Now that she has finally found him, he is on his deathbed, his life hanging by a thread. No matter what, she cannot turn a blind eye to his life.

"Make the arrangements at the hospital. Tomorrow, I will go there in person to treat Uncle Fu!"

“But… President Li is looking for you everywhere…” Li Mo also expressed his concerns.

“There are no buts. Uncle Fu’s life is more important than anything else!” Gu Momo replied firmly.

Seeing that his boss was so insistent, Li Mo didn't say anything more. After hanging up the phone, he began to contact the hospital director to make preparations.

North Ring Mountain Manor

Li Zhanting, dressed in black loungewear, stood by the dining table like a proud lion, showing his lunch, which he had just caught, to his two cubs.

Li Zixiao and Li Qingling stared at the table full of food that was either burnt or charred, their faces contorted in disbelief.

"Daddy, what is this?" Li Qingling asked with a look of disgust, pointing to a dish in front of her that was no longer recognizable as to what its ingredients were.

"A double-yolk egg with a runny yolk," Li Zhanting answered truthfully.

Where's the runny center? Where's the double yolk? Sorry, all I see is a bunch of charcoal-black stuff.

Li Qingling grimaced in pain, her small body shaking her head frantically as if she had seen a ghost, "Daddy, the food you made is pitch black, it's inedible. Unlike the pretty auntie's cooking, which is both beautiful and delicious!"

When he heard his daughter mention Gu Momo again, his expression remained extremely unpleasant.

His impression of Gu Momo wasn't bad, but he was jealous of her, to the point of being psychologically overwhelmed.

Even though she's his own daughter, why does it feel like she's always clinging to Gu Momo?
