Knowing that Li Zhanting had brought his daughter to the hospital, Gu Momo also rushed over.
Inside the Lincoln, Gu Momo sat in the back seat, her beautiful eyes closed behind her black-rimmed sunglasses.
"Mr. Gu, we've arrived," Li Mo, in the passenger seat, cautiously reminded him.
Gu Momo raised her eyelids, looked at the patients and their families coming and going at the door, opened the car door, and got out.
She was worried that her daughter's asthma had flared up again, so she rushed over with her medication.
However, although she found out that Li Zhanting had taken her daughter to the hospital, other information was kept tightly under wraps, and she didn't even have a more specific room number.
She could only start with the VIP wards, searching one by one.
Just as I reached the VIP entrance, I heard a heavy thud as something fell to the ground.
Immediately afterwards, a group of people curiously gathered around, but everyone was at a loss for what to do.
It was lunchtime, and the nurses were eating in the cafeteria. The nurse on duty was probably busy with other things and didn't hear the call for help immediately.
Gu Momo pushed through the crowd and found a young man lying on the ground. He was in pain, his whole body was convulsing, his eyes were rolling back, and soon he began to foam at the mouth.
"My God, this is a hospital! What are the doctors doing? Why aren't they here yet?"
"It's lunch break! Hurry up and find the doctor in the cafeteria!"
"Doesn't he have any family members with him?"
The onlookers were in a panic, watching the man on the ground with great concern, but no one dared to step forward to help.
"It's an epileptic seizure." With just one glance, she determined the man's condition. As a doctor, she couldn't ignore the patient in front of her.
"Excuse me, I'm a doctor, please make way! Thank you!" Gu Momo pushed through the crowd and walked to the patient's side.
However, she did not expect that as soon as she arrived, she would be met with a pair of extremely aggressive and scrutinizing eyes.
Li Zhanting wore a dark suit, his hands casually in his pockets. His 185cm height, broad shoulders, and narrow waist exuded a chilling aura, revealing an innate nobility and indifference.
His slightly narrowed, deep eyes held a hint of danger.
Mo Feng sensed the dangerous aura emanating from Li Zhanting: "Master Ting, this Gu Momo..."
Li Zhanting's deep eyes narrowed slightly, as if he wanted to see right through Gu Momo.
"Could someone please come and hold his hands down for me?" she asked, looking up for help.
Soon a man came over and helped her hold down the patient's hand, which was out of control due to constant convulsions and spasms.
Gu Momo quickly untied her decorative silk scarf, folded it, and stuffed it into the man's mouth, saying crisply, "Bite it!"
This was to prevent him from accidentally biting off his tongue during a seizure.
Then, with the help of the man she had just spoken to, she turned the patient onto his side to prevent him from vomiting and choking while lying on his back.
To date, epilepsy is considered an incurable, lifelong disease in the medical community.
Just like Ling'er's congenital asthma, the frequency of its onset can only be reduced through careful postnatal care.
But for Gu Momo, this was not a problem.
So she came here not only because she was worried about her daughter and wanted to bring her medicine, but also because she hoped to find an opportunity to take her daughter away and help her completely cure her asthma.
Two minutes later, the patient's condition stabilized, and the doctor rushed over without even having time to eat.
"How is it? How is the patient?"
"Doctor, by the time you arrived, I was afraid this patient would have already died. Is this the level of service you provide in your VIP ward?" a bystander couldn't help but complain.
The doctor looked embarrassed and could only keep apologizing to the patient's family.
Gu Momo stopped the doctor: "This can't be blamed on you. You're not gods, you can't be by the patient's side at any time."
The onlookers looked a little embarrassed and could only say, "Don't apologize to us. Instead, thank this young lady. If it weren't for her, your hospital would have been in serious trouble with a medical accident."
The doctor glanced at it and found that his first aid techniques and measures were performed in a very standard and thorough manner, taking into account all aspects.
"Miss, are you also a doctor? May I ask where you work?" the doctor asked curiously.
Gu Momo stood up and realized that she had been squatting for too long, and her legs were a little numb.
After a moment of calm, she said lightly, "I'm not a doctor, you should take the patient back to their ward as soon as possible."
After saying that, she pushed through the crowd and walked into the depths of the corridor, leaving behind a bewildered doctor and onlookers.
"Didn't this young lady just say she was a doctor? I don't understand."
As soon as Gu Momo turned around, she sensed a dangerous aura spreading. She looked up sharply and met Li Zhanting's cold and deep black eyes.
He stood there with a half-smile, his impeccably tailored suit accentuating his perfect proportions, and his obsidian-like eyes, like those of a predator locking onto its prey, were fixed intently on Gu Momo.
He smiled slightly: "I didn't expect your medical skills to be so excellent."
Gu Momo met his gaze, smiling charmingly: "What? Mr. Li, why are you suddenly so concerned about me? Are you captivated by my beauty?"
Li Zhanting smiled nonchalantly: "Don't worry, even if I'm interested in a dog, I won't be interested in you at all."
Gu Momo smiled sweetly: "President Li, don't speak so soon. What if you're proven wrong? Then you'll be the one who's being taken advantage of."
