"Just a couple of days ago. My old man was nagging me to come back." The man held a cocktail, his shifty gaze occasionally glancing at the socialites watching Li Zhanting. "I said, how come you're still the same as before, attracting so much attention wherever you go? You're practically stealing all my luck with women, can't you share some of that good fortune with me?"
"Take it if you like it." Li Zhanting's cold eyes narrowed, his whole body exuding an icy chill that kept people at a distance.
"Heh, I knew you'd say that!" Ling Tian rolled his eyes at him, then leaned closer to him like a gossip, "I've heard a lot about you since I got back. When are you and your Momo getting married? The whole capital is waiting!"
Ling Tian's question instantly piqued the interest of the socialites present. They wondered how lively the capital would become!
“She’s a very special woman, so marriage should naturally follow her wishes. It’s not my place to make the decisions.” Li Zhanting swirled the wine in his glass, his thin lips curving slightly, and a faint smile playing at the corners of his eyes.
Those far away might not be able to see it clearly, but Ling Tian could see it perfectly well: this icy boss actually smiled just because a woman was mentioned!
Ling Tian nearly coughed up blood upon hearing this: "Holy crap! Zhan Ting, I'd heard you were a henpecked husband, but I never imagined you were this perverted!"

After their conversation was overheard by others, business tycoons began to praise Gu Momo.

She wore a deep blue long dress and played "Vanessa's Smile," a piece with a cheerful rhythm and melodious tune. The dancing notes were like little elves, flowing into the heart.
After the performance, Liu Xuer took her bow amidst enthusiastic applause. Praise followed, with one person saying, "Liu Xuer truly deserves to be called the golden touch of the entertainment industry. This piece was melodious and light, and I could almost picture Vanessa's charming smile in my mind."

Liu Xuer stood on the stage, unconcerned by the praise from others. She simply looked quietly at Li Zhanting, awaiting his comments. "Mr. Ting, what do you think?"

I'd heard before that Master Ting never smiled at women, but now she's the only exception!
