"Yes." Fu Ying was about to withdraw her hand when she was suddenly grabbed by a rough hand and fell into the other person's arms.
She was startled, and Gu Momo, seeing this, was terrified and immediately scolded:
"Ye Sijue, don't you think you're ridiculous? You traveled all this way to ask me for Fuying, and now you're holding a girl you've only known for less than a minute in your arms?"
Ye Sijue didn't answer, but instead moved closer to Fu Ying, took a deep breath, and then looked coldly at "Lillian," asking, "Where is she?"
"Who is it? Young Master Ye, what are you saying? I don't quite understand." Fu Ying feigned shock.
"Ye Sijue, Lillian is Li Zhanting's secretary. She doesn't know Fu Ying, let alone your relationship with Fu Ying. You don't need to ask." Gu Momo reached out to take Fu Ying away, but before she could touch Fu Ying's wrist, Ye Sijue pressed down on Fu Ying's shoulder and pinned her against the wall.
He was quite strong; his back slammed against the hard wall as he leaned on the pillar, wincing in pain.
However, Ye Sijue showed no mercy whatsoever, and continued to question her in a cold voice, "You have her scent on you, you must have just seen her! Tell me! Where is Fuying!"
Fu Ying was taken aback. What scent on her could possibly remind Ye Sijue of her?
Since leaving the manor, Mingming had long since changed all the perfumes and shower gels she used to use, so that she would not have anything on her that could remind Ye Sijue of her.
Where exactly did he begin to doubt himself?
Not only Fu Ying couldn't understand it, but Gu Momo, who was standing next to her, was also completely baffled.

Just as the two were locked in a stalemate, the man's cold voice rang out from the entrance of the hall—
"Ye Sijue, you've dared to act so wildly on my territory?"
Ye Sijue and Gu Momo turned around at the same time and saw Li Zhanting walking in against the light like an emperor in a black suit, followed by his three subordinates who were ranked among the top three in terms of martial prowess in the Mingye Alliance.
Ye Sijue paused for a second, and unconsciously loosened his grip on Fuying's hand. She took the opportunity to push him away and ran behind Gu Momo to hide.
Ye Sijue glanced at her, saw the girl's frightened look, and said nothing more. Instead, he turned his gaze to Li Zhanting, who had just entered the room.
"I'm sorry to disturb Mr. Li's peace and quiet. I just wanted to find someone," Ye Sijue said without any embarrassment.
Li Zhanting's voice was so low and devoid of any emotion: "If you want to find someone, go look outside."
Clearly, he wasn't listening to Ye Sijue's opinion, but rather warning him.
The oppressive aura emanating from the two men froze the atmosphere in the entire hall, making everyone too tense to breathe.
Just as the two sides were at an impasse, Gu Momo took the initiative to speak up, "Ye Sijue, leave my house immediately. I can let bygones be bygones regarding your injury to my subordinate and your frightening of Lillian."
She has already given Ye Sijue a way out; whether he chooses to accept it is up to him.
Fu Ying looked at Ye Sijue nervously, hoping in her heart that he would know to leave. She didn't want to deepen the hatred between Momo and him because of her, nor did she want to drag the Ye family into it.
She was so nervous that her face turned pale, and her eyes were fixed on Ye Sijue's hand, afraid that he would fight with Li Zhanting in a fit of anger.
The tense atmosphere lasted for a full three minutes before Ye Sijue, who was radiating murderous intent, suddenly sneered, "So many people are bullying me alone?"
“This isn’t bullying, it’s giving you one last chance.” Li Zhanting’s eyes were dark. “If it were anyone else, they wouldn’t be standing here talking to me right now.”
If it weren't for the fact that Ye Sijue's brother had risked his life to save Gu Momo, he would never have tolerated this dangerous person so many times.
Ye Sijue knew Li Zhanting's temperament. Even though he had never fought with Li Zhanting, he knew that this man was a man of his word. He took two steps back, turned around, and walked towards the entrance of the hall.
But after taking a few steps, he suddenly stopped, his gaze, filled with complex emotions, falling on Fuying.
Fu Ying felt a chill run down her spine under his gaze and grabbed Gu Momo's sleeve, hiding behind her.
To avoid arousing Ye Sijue's suspicion, Gu Momo grabbed her wrist and gently comforted her, "It's alright, Lillian. Young Master Ye probably just mistook you for someone else. Don't overthink it."
Fu Ying glanced at Ye Sijue's reaction out of the corner of her eye and nodded.
Fortunately, Ye Sijue only glanced back once and did not make any other unnecessary movements before turning around and leaving the Ye family manor.
After he left, Fu Ying's tense nerves completely relaxed at that moment. She took a step back, her legs went weak, and she almost lost her balance.
Fortunately, Gu Momo grabbed her wrist in time, preventing her from falling to the ground.
Even at this point, Fu Ying still felt she had caused Gu Momo a lot of trouble. "Sister Momo, I'm sorry."
