Seeing the boy standing at the door, slightly out of breath, all the waiting seemed insignificant. She excitedly turned around and shouted into the house, "Brother, Tianbao, Nie Yu is here!"
She then immediately invited Nie Yu inside, picked out a brand new pair of slippers from the shoe cabinet in the entryway, and placed them beside his feet. "Come in quickly."
As Nie Yu changed into slippers and stepped onto the entrance stairs, the lights in the house suddenly dimmed. Only the faint candlelight of Ling'er could be heard in the distance. As the candlelight drew closer, he realized that Li Zixiao was pushing a small cart with a cake decorated with the number "thirteen" candles.
Immediately afterwards, the music of "Happy Birthday" filled the empty living room, and Li Qingling's sweet singing voice rang in his ears.
Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you!
Her voice is beautiful; when she sings, it is melodious and ethereal, like the first ray of sunshine in the morning, or the first breath of air when you open a window—beautiful and refreshing.
This was the first time in her life that she had celebrated her birthday in such a grand way. It seemed that ever since Li Qingling appeared, she had brought him so many firsts and touching moments, such as the first time he listened attentively in class, the first time he completed his homework on time, the first time he drew a portrait of someone, and the first time so many people had celebrated his birthday with him.
In the blink of an eye, Li Zixiao had already pushed the stroller to Nie Yu. Although they were a bit different in age, Li Zixiao's aura was in no way inferior to his.
"Happy birthday." Li Zixiao said indifferently, as if someone had a knife to his throat, coldly uttering those four words.
Li Qingling stood to the side, laughing heartily at her brother's resistant expression.
Then Gu Jingxing and Li Qingtian came over and stuffed several beautifully wrapped gifts into Nie Yu's hands, complaining unhappily, "If you had come any later, I would have gone to the Nie family to kidnap someone. Here, these are gifts that the three of us prepared. Happy birthday."
Nie Yu accepted the gift and politely nodded his thanks.
Although Li Zixiao and Gu Jingxing's attitudes weren't good, Nie Yu knew perfectly well that it was because he was so late, so he turned to Li Qingling and bowed his head to apologize for the first time, "I'm sorry, I was delayed on the way."

After introducing her siblings, she turned to introduce Nie Yu, "Brothers, this is the first friend I made at school, his name is Nie Yu. After this meeting, we will all be good friends."
"Ling'er, we've already met each other, let's blow out the candles quickly, or they'll burn out soon," Li Qingtian reminded her.
Li Qingling then realized what was happening and exclaimed, instinctively grabbing Nie Yu's arms with both hands, "Quick, quick, make a wish and blow out the candles!"
And so, Nie Yu spent a lively and unforgettable birthday at the Li family home. Meanwhile, Nie Zhenyuan was furious because Nie Yu had secretly gone to the Li family home, and even summoned Butler Han to the living room.

Sitting next to him was Nie Fansheng, the eldest son of the Nie family.
Over the years, Butler Han had witnessed Nie Zhenyuan's ruthlessness and perversion. Although he was afraid, he still did not betray Nie Yu and shook his head, saying, "Master, I don't know anything, I really don't know anything!"

He immediately put away his sharp edge and said to his father in a coquettish tone, "Daddy, don't you find it strange? Every time you try to deal with Nie Yu, he manages to escape safely. I think there might be a traitor in our family?"
His gaze fell on Butler Han, and his meaning was already very clear.
Upon hearing this, Butler Han hurriedly scrambled to Nie Zhenyuan's side to express his loyalty, "Master, the eldest young master has misunderstood me. How could I possibly betray you!
