Chapter 1130 Reluctant to Part

Chapter 1130 Reluctant to Part

Forgetfulness Potion?

Even if Xie Zheng really forgets her, Song Chunxue will not plant that thing.

Everything in this world is hard-won; pain and joy are both gifts.

Song Chunxue will not miss that process of repeatedly chewing and digesting; she is willing to grow old slowly while cherishing the memories.

That was her own thing; she didn't need to cheat to alleviate her pain.

That is not pain.

But she couldn't bear to part with it.

So she told her senior sister Fangyue about what had happened recently and her plans.

"Huh?" Fangyue was surprised. "Didn't you hate having children the most? How come you suddenly... Sigh, that's true. If the arrival of a life can preserve the bond between you, it's a win-win situation."

"Then we can't delay. Don't wait until August 28th, that'll be too late." Fangyue patted her shoulder. "We need to hurry. Things can change, so you have to be careful. Since you've made up your mind, it's good to have a child sooner rather than later."

Song Chunxue nodded, "Then let's do it in the next few days."

She was going all out.

She didn't want to think about what others would do or what the future held; she just wanted to solve the current predicament.

That evening, Xie Zheng personally went to the kitchen and made Song Chunxue a bowl of noodles, which was still the kind of noodles with minced meat and vinegar.

It smelled delicious, and Song Chunxue ate two bowls.

After dinner, they walked hand in hand through the woods.

Because of what he has, the two of them now cherish the time they spend together even more.

"Xie Zheng, I've made up my mind. Let's have a baby. What if... what if it really helps prevent that outcome?"

Xie Zheng was very surprised. "You're not..." He held her hand bitterly. "I asked around, and there's less than a 30% chance. You don't need to be like this."

“It’s alright. Hasn’t your Xie family always wanted me, IE, to carry on the family line? If it’s a boy, then it’ll be double happiness, right?” Song Chunxue took a deep breath. “I’ve really thought it through.”

Xie Zheng shook his head, "Ah Xue, no, I can't do this to you."

Suddenly, he pressed his temples in pain, and the veins on the back of his hand bulged.

"Ah Xue," Xie Zheng said, forcing himself to endure the pain as he pulled Song Chunxue into his arms, "Don't rush, let's become Daoist partners first, and if you're still willing then..."

He gasped for breath, his eyes welling with tears, "Ah Xue, actually..."

Before he could finish speaking, Xie Zheng fainted.

In her panic, Song Chunxue carried Xie Zheng to Master Han's room.

"Knock knock knock!"

"Uncle-Master, Xie Zheng has fainted."

The door opened quickly from the inside.

"Quickly put him on the bed," Master Han said, turning to Lord Zhao. "Go and call your master over."

"Alright, I'll go right now." Lord Zhao jumped directly out of the window.

Seeing Xie Zheng lying on the bed with his brows furrowed and his forehead covered in sweat, Song Chunxue could only hold his fingers tightly, her mind a jumbled mess.

She seemed to see something slowly dissipating.

Her gaze fell on Xie Zheng's face, and her heart suddenly began to ache sharply.

For some reason, she felt that their relationship was no longer that of Song Chunxue and Lord Xie.

It was even more suffocating than the sense of social hierarchy they felt when they first met.

She kept repeating to herself, "No, no."

That won't happen.

...

The Moon-Accompanying Immortal has arrived, Third Uncle Mo Jiang has arrived, and Daoist Feng Lei and his disciple have also arrived.

They all took Xie Zheng's pulse and gave him acupuncture.

Xie Zheng's brows gradually relaxed.

But an hour later, he began to convulse continuously.

Master Zhang stood beside Song Chunxue, comforting her from time to time, "Don't worry, he'll be fine, don't be nervous."

"Sit down and rest for a while," Zhang Chengxuan said softly. "You've always been lucky, and this time you'll be out of danger too."

Song Chunxue stood motionless by the window, like a piece of wood.

At midnight, Xie Zheng finally recovered.

Song Chunxue stayed by his side.

She lay beside him, holding his warm hand tightly; the sweat on his palm made her feel at ease.

Suddenly, thunder and rain started in the middle of the night, and Song Chunxue got up and closed the windows.

After that, it rained lightly all night, and the weather gradually got colder.

She leaned against him and slept until dawn.

Until, a familiar voice rang in her ears.

"Wake up, wake up."

She opened her eyes; it was Xie Zheng calling her.

"You're awake. How are you feeling? Are you feeling better?" She rubbed her eyes and sat up. "Does your head still hurt?"

Xie Zheng stared at her, his expression unreadable.

After a long pause, he asked in a deep voice, "Who are you?"

In an instant, it was as if a thunderbolt struck Song Chunxue's heart.

Song Chunxue immediately sat up straight, thankfully she hadn't taken off her clothes last night.

Her heart sank to the bottom. She got out of bed, put on her shoes, and said calmly, "I am Song Chunxue."

She stood up, adjusted her hairpins, and asked softly with her back to him, "Who are you?"

"I am Xie Zheng. Where is my master?" His voice seemed to carry a hint of confusion. "Between us..."

"It's nothing, I'll go call your master." She walked out of the house, pretending to be calm, but at the corner of the corridor, her legs went weak and she knelt down, leaning against the wall.

"What's wrong?" Zhang Chengxuan helped her up. "Is he awake?"

“He’s awake,” Song Chunxue could no longer hold back, tears welling up in her eyes. “He asked, ‘Who am I?’”

Zhang Chengxuan gasped. "I'll go check it out."

Master Han suddenly appeared and said to Zhang Chengxuan, "You watch him, I'll go ask him."

Actually, they didn't go back to their room to rest all night.

Unexpectedly, the worst happened so quickly.
