Chapter 935 Get out of here

Chapter 935 Get out of here

Master Han reached his hand up to her head, but didn't actually touch her.

"Have you thought this through? What if something really happens that you don't want outsiders to know?"

Song Chunxue stepped back and said, "That's too much. Getting married and having children, the days spent with Lord Xie, taking baths and going to the toilet?"

"..."

These words were quite blunt, and Master Han was stunned for a long time, unable to refute them.

That certainly counts.

I almost led him astray.

"Don't worry, these are all ordinary things, you can't see them." Master Han reached out his hand again. "Don't speak. I suspect that you have been possessed by something, or that something bad has been left on you."

Song Chunxue closed her eyes, letting him probe her soul.

Soon, Master Han abruptly withdrew his hand and stared at her with wide eyes.

Song Chunxue struggled to sit on the tree trunk, lifting her feet off the ground.

"What's wrong? Is it difficult to handle?"

Master Han remained silent, only staring intently at her, as if trying to see through every vein in her body.

Song Chunxue wasn't in a hurry. She had lived like this for so many years, so there was nothing to worry about for the time being.

She took out a soft buckwheat bun from her storage ring. "Want some?"

Master Han hesitated before taking it and squatted down on a tree stump not far away.

He seemed confused, his eyes vacant and unfocused.

"I have a good memory, I shouldn't have forgotten anything important. Don't stay silent, what's wrong with me? Did I get dirty or something?"

Master Han shook his head. "Let me think about it carefully. I don't know how to tell you right now."

Song Chunxue was hungry, so she ate a big bite of buckwheat bun and sighed contentedly.

“Say it. I’m not a child. There’s nothing I can’t accept.” Song Chunxue patted her clothes nonchalantly. “Don’t be mysterious. You’re a senior.”

Master Han lowered his head and smiled faintly. Today, he was dressed in a gray cloud-like silk robe, like a cloud on a cloudy day drifting among the verdant mountains and forests, exuding an ethereal aura.

If they hadn't known each other for so long, Song Chunxue would definitely have thought of him as a god.

However, he's probably not far from becoming a deity.

She felt that her progress was beyond her imagination, but the changes in Master Han also made her realize that he was like a different person.

The Master Han I met for the first time was probably in disguise.

The real Master Han has always been so aloof and proud.

Standing next to Lord Zhao, they both looked like celestial beings untouched by worldly affairs.

They are indifferent, rational, and somewhat unreasonable compared to ordinary mortals.

Song Chunxue could hardly imagine what he would find difficult to say.

She suddenly became very curious.

"It's not a big deal, but I need to discuss this with the two of them before I tell you," Master Han said, taking a bite of his steamed bun and chewing slowly. "You go back first, I'll take a walk around the neighborhood."

Okay, if they don't want to talk, then we'll just wait.

Song Chunxue went back to help her senior brother cook.

Lord Zhao was learning how to use a rolling pin, and he felt his fingers hurt several times.

"This looks simple, but it's so difficult. I don't believe I can't even learn how to knead noodles."

He rolled up his sleeves, looking like he was determined to get back at the noodles.

Upon seeing Song Chunxue, Tudan hurriedly came over and took her arm. "Uncle-Master, you should quickly persuade Uncle-Master. He can't learn it today. If he continues to learn, everyone will go hungry."

Lord Zhao laughed and scolded, "You little brat, that's not what you said just now."

"Isn't your master making knife-cut noodles? What are you afraid of? You eat first." Song Chunxue looked at Lord Zhao, "Or, shall I teach my senior brother how to make noodles?"

"Alright, but I want vinegar noodles." Tu Dan'er stared at the noodles in Lord Zhao's hand, looking distressed.

"Then you guys go and stir-fry the meat sauce and make the vinegar soup. Your senior uncle's noodles will be ready soon."

"Alright!" Tu Dan'er laughed. "Master Uncle, take your time learning, no rush. You can even use the Five-Star Hammer, so a rolling pin is nothing. You'll learn it in half an hour."

"You brat, mind your own business. If you can't learn it, you can't learn it. Don't try to put on airs for me. Even if I can't learn it, your uncle will. It won't stop you from eating vinegar noodles."

Lord Zhao wiped his rolling pin as if he were polishing a large knife, his expression extremely serious, as if he were about to burn his boats and go into battle.

Song Chunxue chuckled inwardly, but appeared gentle and patient on the surface.

"Don't grip too tightly. At the beginning, stick out four fingers, otherwise it's easy to pinch your fingers. Don't be fooled by the thinness of the rolling pin; it hurts a lot when it presses on your fingers."

"Yes, just use your palms to knead it gently and slowly. Just knead it a little and it will be fine. Practice makes perfect."

"Yes, yes, that's it, stretch out your palm and rub forward..."

Lord Zhao frowned and looked up, only to find himself picking at his finger again.

"I'll knead it a couple of times, Senior Brother, just watch for a while." With that, Song Chunxue rolled up the dough, rolled it twice on the table, and then spread it out.

She sprinkled some flour on the dough, rolled it up again, and handed it to Lord Zhao, saying, "Try it again."

Lord Zhao did not give up and tried it back and forth seven times, rolling up his sleeves.

The dough was finally rolled thin, but the shape looked strange, and the thickness was uneven.

This made the usually generous Lord Zhao feel embarrassed.

"It's already very good. Next time, Senior Brother will definitely be able to spread it evenly. The first time I spread it when I was a child, it was full of holes. I was beaten by my sister several times, and tears even fell on my face."

Lord Zhao looked at her in surprise, "How old were you when you started learning?"

“Six years old,” Song Chunxue explained earnestly, “After all, my fourth sister was already eight years old at that time, and she could go to the mountains to pick grains and weed. If I had learned earlier, I could have cooked at home and helped them.”

"Six years old?"

Lord Zhao could not believe it.

His child, at six years old, couldn't even hold a cup of tea steadily.

He lowered his eyes, a hint of heartache flashing in them.

“Then you can have someone else do it from now on, and hand it over to your apprentice.” Lord Zhao took off his apron. “I’m going to see where Master Han is slacking off.”

"He's over there, he'll be back just in time for dinner."

Changfeng stood aside and watched as his master skillfully rolled a large, oddly shaped piece of dough into a round, evenly thin one in just a few strokes.

"Master's knife skills are excellent. Could it be that he also learned them at the age of six?"

“Eight years old. When I was six, the kitchen knife was too big, and I cut my hand, so I had to rest for two years. My eldest sister was able to cook for us when she was seven.” Song Chunxue smiled and pointed at him, “Open the pot lid, you can cook the noodles now.”

Two pots today, so it's super quick to cook.

She guessed correctly. How could someone as capable as her senior brother, who could travel the world, not have a pot for himself?

"Master, Master, look over there!" Changyun shouted excitedly, "There's something spying on us in that tree, and there are two little ones under the tree who stole one of our potatoes."

Suddenly, a streak of arrows flew swiftly down from the mountaintop toward them.

"clang!"

Master Han swiftly flew up with a long spear, deflecting the hidden arrow.

"You snake demon, mind your own business! She is the medicinal ingredient I've been waiting for for nearly a hundred years. Get out of my way!"

P.S.: Suddenly I don't want it to end so soon. Actually, I don't have an outline right now, and I don't know how the plot will develop. Initially, I didn't want this book to have a male lead; many of the later plot points were inspired by readers. The female lead got together with Xie Zheng because of the huge data fluctuations, but later, I felt that it wasn't wrong for her to start over and experience love. Regretful love is unforgettable, but I couldn't bear to let her lose the person she finally opened her heart to.

Although this book has many flaws, I feel it's unlikely I'll ever write another book that I've poured so much emotion into. It doesn't pander to the market, but I wrote it with complete enjoyment. Thank you to every reader; you all made it possible. (Not a closing statement, haha~)
