Meng Qi lay back down again. She didn't know that her mind was in a mess. She had never thought that she could get away so easily that day.

As he knocked on the door, he was still wondering if it was the princess's friend's house, or her dowry farm.
After waiting to see Mama Liu and Yuanyue, Wang Chenghai was so surprised that his mouth couldn't close. Mama Liu and Yuanyue were also surprised, obviously not knowing about Meng Qi's arrangement.
Wang Chenghai wisely chose not to ask. As long as he stayed by Meng Qi's side, he would serve her wherever he went.
Later, waves of news came from the palace, especially after Prince Rui ascended the throne. Mother Liu was extremely anxious and kept asking Wang Chenghai what had happened during those days and why the princess did not go back.
