Chapter 50 Path (4)

Chapter 50 Path (4)

"No!"

Louisa flung open the door, followed closely by Aisina.

The cold, rainy wind blew in from behind the two of them, and the half-hanging curtain rolled up like a wave, revealing the young man underneath.

His black hair covered his face, his eyes were red, and his blue fingers covered his mouth with all his strength. He was wearing a loose coat, and the bed was in a mess, with pillows and quilts scattered around the bed.

Tan Yue had her back to them, and her expression could not be seen. One leg was resting on the bed, and her fingertips were right at the spot where Zhou Ye's heart was.

Siming bowed, his silver hair not only falling on the bed, but also in the dim light, as he stood up, his hair web was almost like a spider's web, and he stood tall, as if he had just absorbed nutrients from his predator, looking very satisfied.

Seeing the door open, Zhou Ye sank deeply into the pillow, his eyes were out of focus, and there was no point. It seemed that he was unwilling to be spied on by others, or he surrendered to fate. He pressed his face back into the pillow.

"Siming--" He called softly, and the sound came through the pillow, like the last cry of a lamb before dying. The next second, the main body's consciousness was disconnected, and all the vests' vision went black for a second at the same time, losing the perception of the main body.

"Brother Zhou Ye!"

Louisa was the first to come back to her senses. She pushed the door open and was about to break in between the people, but was suddenly grabbed and lifted up by a hand. It was Nuo.

He had been guarding the door until then.

"Sorry, she is too worried." Aisina hurriedly carried Louisa away from Nuo's hands. She backed away and was about to walk out of the door, her hand already holding the door handle.

Several people were silent, and seemed to have no objection to her sudden intrusion. Zhou Ye, the only possible explanation, buried his head in the pillow and panted.

The second floor returned to silence. Aisina held Louisa's hand tightly to prevent her from rushing in again.

Louisa was too small, and the adults present were all taller than average. Even though she was so nervous that she wanted to stamp her feet, she still couldn't break free from Aisina's hand and walk through the door to see Zhou Ye.

"Let me in." Louisa struggled. "Don't make him into a shell! Don't!"

"Skin, no, no, Louisa, who gave you this idea?" Aisina caught the key word from her words and asked anxiously.

"You..." Louisa turned her head suddenly, and only then did she realize what she had said in a hurry. Facing Aisina's question, she shook her head, said nothing, and sat down on the ground in a dull and relaxed manner.

"Brother Zhou Ye..."

But she no longer paid attention to Aisina. Seeing the child burst into tears, Aisina felt very distressed, but Luisa said nothing, obviously on guard against her.

Aisina thought that the inside story might be related to the bishop's teachings to her, so she stopped asking.

Just as she was thinking about what information she had overlooked that could make the president suddenly weak, there was a sudden thunder outside the window. The light outside the window sill, which was covered by dark clouds, was so dazzling that it was almost impossible to look directly at.

Two seconds later, the sound of wind, thunder, and the operation of some large alchemy equipment, wrapped in a purple light that rushed straight into the sky, suddenly appeared in front of everyone.

Aisina ran to the window, opened it violently and looked out.

A huge building appeared outside the two-story cottage. It was much taller and more ancient than all the other buildings in the area. It was totally out of place, like an egret among vultures.

Originally, there were two old abandoned houses there, but now they have disappeared without a trace. Aixina did not dare to think deeply about whether the house was moved or directly crushed into nothingness.

The words "Antique Pawnshop" confirmed its identity. Aixina knew that it belonged to the Siming family, but why was it here, and now?

The door of the second-floor bedroom that had been tightly closed behind him was pushed open, and the silver-haired young man walked out quickly. His steps were hurried, even chaotic, and he no longer had the noble airs he usually had.

The commotion in the sky was so huge that in a moment, a crowd of people had gathered here frantically.

"What's going on?"

"It's the pawnshop that appeared in Qingshui City. I have to go in and take a look. Hey, you..."

The person who was about to enter was pushed away suddenly. Naturally, he was indignant. He looked back and was frightened to death. It was Siming!

At this time, the cold-faced killer had no time to respond to him. He didn't even wear shoes. He

walked barefoot directly to the depths of the pawnshop. While the waiter in the store covered his face and screamed, the lightning was suddenly used and directly penetrated the counter.

In full view of the public, the president snatched his own pawned items on the street, and all the passers-by nearby looked at each other in bewilderment.

After taking away a large piece of ginseng, Siming hurriedly ran to the second-floor building next to him.

"What's going on with him?"

"Maybe President Zhou got into trouble," the passerby who was just pushed aside was also confused and subconsciously said the most likely guess, "Other than that, I can't imagine what would make him so disregard his attitude."

While everyone was talking, a noble who participated in the management of the association hurriedly stopped at the door in a carriage. He first pulled a person to ask, and after knowing what happened just now, he seemed to want to go upstairs to express his concern, but he didn't dare to act rashly, and wandered around the street awkwardly. Amid

the embarrassment, a wave of greetings came from the antique pawnshop next door. The waiter automatically generated by the system covered the cabinet damaged by Siming with a red cloth, and tried to divert the attention of the crowd for his boss in a somewhat awkward way.

"Ahem." He rubbed his face, as if it was not him who just yelled.

"Those with our bank's card can enter and spend money, and those without can come in and take a look." He had an extremely flattering smile on his face, as if he had already seen the amazing value being credited to his account.

Dengdeng—the sound was heavy, and his feet stepped on the stairs. Siming didn't care about his image at all, and took a big step up, shortening the distance abruptly, like a light lightning.

As he pushed the door open, Aisina tentatively looked at the room with the door open. Louisa, who was more anxious than her, walked over and opened the curtain.

This time, Nuo didn't stop him. He stared at Zhou Ye, who was lying powerlessly on the bed, with his hands clenched.

"Don't come in." Fu Yue turned around to stop the two of them. She was sweating profusely, and her originally flowing hair was like blood condensed on both sides of her cheeks. Her hand was inputting condensed moon energy into Zhou Ye's heart, which even those without talent could see.

The main body was almost unconscious, and Zhou Ye's consciousness seemed to be split into four parts, and the most important and critical one was directly stuck in the shell. At this moment, he relied on instinct to move on the vest.

Under normal circumstances, Zhou Ye would be able to react quickly even if the contamination was close to his body. However, this contamination happened when he entered the depths of his memory twice and was under great mental pressure, which allowed him to take advantage of the opportunity.

Perhaps from the first time they met, the baby in the woman's arms had spread the source of contamination on him, and Zhou Ye should have discovered it, but the baby did find Zhou Ye's biggest weakness, his legs.

Even his legs, which did not react when he poured his amazing value into them like water, accepted the source of contamination at will, and did not start until it infected other parts of the body.

"It hurts." Nuo murmured, and no one heard.

"The recipe is on the back of the paper, go and cook it." After walking into the room, Siming handed the Master Shuo in his arms to Nuo, and he directly fetched water from the air, walked closer to the original body, supported his back and held him in his arms.

"He hasn't taken in any water for sixteen hours." Tan Yue sighed, held Zhou Ye's throat in an upward posture to let the original body look up, took the cup of water in Siming's hand and slowly passed it in.

The water slid down his throat, and the unconscious original body let out a weak gasp. In just a moment, purple and blue spread to his right arm.

"Is the situation better?" Siming frowned and asked Tan Yue, and worriedly stroked his cheek with the hand holding the original body, and wiped the water drops on the corners of his lips for him.

"Not good, I can only say not good." The arm that outputted energy from Cong Yue began to tremble. The main body was disconnected, and the energy remaining in her body was not enough to suppress the more abundant moon energy. Perhaps in the next second, these energies would dissipate uncontrollably.

She said decisively, "I will leave before I lose control to avoid hurting him."

Hearing her words, Siming's face showed uneasiness for the first time. He clenched his hands on the bedside, "I can input some more into his body... and Nuo."

At this point, he suddenly noticed that there were other people next to him. The head that was originally looking at the main body with concern turned to Aisina: "You can't help, so go out first."

"What's the matter?" Aisina's hand fell on Luisa's shoulder, and she asked the most urgent question at the moment.

"He - forget it, it's nothing." Siming swallowed back the words that were originally in his mouth. He showed emotions that shouldn't have been there, and there was a deep worry between his brows.

Aixina couldn't feel at ease at all, and looked at her ancestor.

The only response to her was Cong Yue shaking her head. She opened her mouth and wanted to ask several times, but finally could only nod.

Louisa's eyes were already full of tears. She pulled at the door and didn't want to go out. Finally, Siming controlled her and closed the door.

Aixina was upset and knew that she couldn't help. She sat at the table, picked up a book at random and started reading.

"Open the curtains now."

As the order was given, a light suddenly lit up in front of the woman. She lowered her head, and the eyes of the baby in her arms were already open, with pure black eye sockets, looking straight out the window.

"I was originally wondering whether the black-haired man knew about it, but now it seems that there is no need to

do so. My talent would not have been triggered if he was completely unaware of that matter." The woman's voice was sharp, her eyes full of fear, but her face as she held the child looked increasingly older. "An ancient family? They are so generous that they managed to keep him alive like this."

"Then Sima Ming, maybe he is the heir of their family?" Dimula tentatively asked, "But he has a cult background, and I'm a little confused."

"The more ancient the family, the more likely it is to have a connection with the cult, a bunch of remnants."

"Even if he is the heir, can we just sit back and watch him waste resources on a useless civilian again and again?" the woman said with disdain.

"But with Sima Ming's resource assistance, I'm afraid that people in the association will be more inclined to Zhou Ye."

"The old guys will not agree with him being in power. Since he knows about that incident, he will soon send people to impose sanctions... Is there any movement from the person I asked you to pay attention to?"

"Ronnie hasn't appeared in the city yet."

"Soon, with such a big commotion, he will know." Having said that, the woman gently touched the child's face. The child wrapped in the cradle looked straight at her without blinking, "My dear baby, don't worry, I will definitely heal you."

"Wow..." The baby cried loudly, and the cloth wrapped around him scattered with the movement. A hand that had returned to normal color suddenly stretched out and pinched the woman tightly, making her arm like a deflated balloon, and the originally young and tender skin quickly dried up.

Not sure if it was an illusion, Dimula noticed that as the loving look on the woman's face deepened, the child's movements became more agile, as if his spirit was shifting.

He was observing secretly when the baby suddenly pointed at him with her hand. He was frightened and stepped back suddenly, almost falling down.

The woman also looked at him sinisterly in the direction of the finger.
