Chapter 134 Misunderstanding
"It's a family dinner today, and I reckon Ayan will be back too. Let's have dinner together before you go back! Jinzhou should have told you, right?"
Old Master Bo raised his eyes and looked at her curiously.
Sang Ruo paused suddenly as she held the medicine box.
Bo Jinzhou really hadn't told her about this. If she hadn't overheard Liang Yuxin saying downstairs that it was a family dinner today, she wouldn't have known about it at all.
To avoid worrying her grandfather, she finally spoke up, saying, "He told me."
"Okay, let's have a meal before you go!"
Unable to refuse such hospitality, she finally nodded and agreed: "Okay."
Sang Ruo originally planned to go down to the living room to wait for dinner, but when she got to the second floor, the door to Bo Jinyan's room was suddenly opened from the inside.
Before she could even see who it was, a pair of large hands gripped her wrists tightly, and the person then led her into the room.
"What are you doing? Let go..."
Before Sang Ruo could finish speaking, her mouth was tightly covered and her body was pressed against the door.
When I looked up and saw the person in front of me clearly, a look of shock appeared in my eyes.
Bo Jinyan removed his hand from her mouth and then pulled her toward the sofa.
"Bo Jinyan?" Sang Ruo glanced at his back, her voice tinged with curiosity, "When did you get back?"
"I should be a little later than you!"
Bo Jinyan pulled her to sit on the sofa, then stared at her with sharp eyes.
That look made Sang Ruo feel extremely uncomfortable, and the hairs on her body stood on end.
She deliberately moved back a few inches: "Why are you looking at me like that?"
"You hung up on me yesterday and haven't replied to my messages." Bo Jinyan gripped her wrist again, his voice carrying a strong sense of danger: "What do you mean? What did I do to offend you this time?"
Sang Ruo's brow furrowed slightly: "Let go of me."
"Answer my question first, and then I'll consider whether or not to let go of you."
At this point, it's certainly impossible to tell him what I'm thinking.
After a moment of thought, she made up an excuse to brush him off: "I was too busy yesterday and didn't have time to answer your call. I forgot about it after I got back."
After hearing her explanation, the man suddenly chuckled softly, "What about the text message? You forgot about that too?"
"Yeah, I took a shower and then forgot about it..."
Sang Ruo responded with such seriousness that anyone else would surely believe her.
But she forgot that the person in front of her was Bo Jinyan.
Such an explanation might fool others, but how could it possibly fool him?
"Why don't you keep making things up? Or come up with a more suitable reason, maybe I'll still believe you."
Bo Jinyan released her hand, then pinched her chin with one hand.
The sudden closeness made Sang Ruo's heart pound wildly: "What do you want to do?"
Bo Jinyan's captivating phoenix eyes stared directly into hers: "What do you think?"
His tone was three parts indifference and seven parts nonchalance.
But when it reached Sang Ruo's ears, it made her feel inexplicably nervous.
The next second, the man quickly leaned in and bit her lips without hesitation.
His kiss was fierce and urgent, almost suffocating Sang Ruo for several seconds.
This kiss carried a hint of punishment.
Just then, a knock came at the door: "Uncle, dinner's ready."
Sang Ruo's heart jumped into her throat in an instant.
It's Bojin Prefecture!
Sang Ruo subconsciously reached out and blocked the man's chest, trying to push him away.
But Bo Jinyan showed no intention of letting her go; on the contrary, he became increasingly unscrupulous.
His kisses landed on her snow-white neck, and his slender fingertips roamed freely over her body.
The force still carried a punitive connotation, almost causing her to cry out in surprise.
She bit his shoulder, and only then did the man loosen his grip slightly.
"Uncle, uncle..."
The knocking on the door continued.
The atmosphere inside, however, was ambiguous.
Sang Ruo lowered her voice to a whisper that only the two of them could hear: "You didn't lock the door, you should at least respond! Otherwise, if he comes in, we're all doomed."
Bo Jinyan finally stopped what he was doing.
He rested his hands on either side of the sofa and said impatiently toward the door, "I'm going to rest for a bit, I'll be down in a bit."
The man outside had already reached for the doorknob, but stopped abruptly upon hearing his voice.
"Okay, then come down quickly, Uncle..."
"Um."
As the footsteps outside the door faded into the distance, Sang Ruo's heart, which had been hanging in suspense, finally settled down.
The man suddenly bit her lip hard, looked up and asked with a smile, "What? Are you so afraid of him finding out we're having an affair?"
Adultery.
When those two words reached her ears, her heart leaped into her throat once again.
Ever since she started this relationship with Bo Jinyan, she felt like she was going to have a nervous breakdown.
He quickly reached out and pounded his chest hard: "Bo Jinyan, you bastard! Why did you suddenly kiss me! This is the Bo family's old residence, not Qinyuan Bay. How dare you do this to me?"
"Will you dare not answer my calls or reply to my texts again in the future?"
Sang Ruo was so angry that she was speechless.
Seeing that she remained silent for a long time, the man tried to approach her again.
Sang Ruo quickly replied, "Okay, I'll definitely accept next time."
After receiving a satisfactory answer, Bo Jinyan nodded in satisfaction and then released her.
As Bo Jinyan took out a cigarette and was about to light it, Sang Ruo suddenly asked curiously, "Mr. Bo, has Miss Fang successfully gotten a divorce?"
The man's hand holding the lighter paused for a moment, then he said softly, "Yes, I got the divorce certificate last week."
He even knows exactly when she got the divorce certificate!
A surge of anger rose within Sang Ruo's heart in an instant.
She instinctively reached out and snatched the cigarette from his mouth.
Why did you steal my cigarette?
The man turned to look at her, puzzled.
After standing up, she threw the cigarette into the nearby trash can, looked down at him seriously, and said, "Smoking too much is bad for your health, and it's also bad for children's development. You should smoke less in the future!"
Before he could respond, Sang Ruo quickly got up and walked towards the door.
"Bang--"
She slammed the door shut from the outside, making an exceptionally loud noise that disturbed the entire space.
Bo Jinyan was taken aback.
She and Bo Jinzhou are still married, yet they're already planning to have a child?
Isn't this speed a bit too fast?
The corners of the man's lips suddenly and involuntarily turned up slightly.
He quickly stood up, and the cigarettes he accidentally dropped onto the table.
After pondering for a moment, he threw the entire pack of cigarettes into the trash can.
Listen to her, she should be right...
