Chapter Ninety-Five: She chose to divorce for him

Chapter Ninety-Five: She chose to divorce for him

Bo Jinyan released her chin, then walked around the table and came to her side.

The man's well-defined knuckles rested on the armrest of the chair.

With a gentle turn, she found herself facing him, completely captive by his presence.

The man placed his hands on either side of his body, looking down at her: "You think you can settle accounts with me now?"

Sang Ruo glanced at his shimmering phoenix eyes, her upper eyelashes fluttering incessantly.

For a moment, I didn't know how to respond.

Their current situation is indeed absurd and impossible to calculate.

"Anyway, I came here today just to talk to you about this. Even if you don't accept the money today, I will give it back to you later. I hope Mr. Bo won't return it to me next time."

Sang Ruo stretched out her fair, jade-like hand and placed it against the man's chest, attempting to push him away.

I had only taken a couple of steps when someone grabbed my wrist from behind.

The next second, a hand landed on her waist, and she was pressed against the edge of the table by Bo Jinyan.

"Miss Sang, don't tell me that after all these intimate gestures with me, you didn't have any other thoughts about me."

Sang Ruo kept her gaze on the ground, unwilling to lift her eyelids.

Bo Jinyan grabbed her chin, forcing her to raise her head.

Just then, there was a knock on the door.

"Ayan, are you inside?"

A soft, gentle voice suddenly came from the doorway.

Sang Ruo's heart was pounding wildly...

Isn't this Fang Jiayu, Bo Jinyan's sweetheart?

Why did she suddenly come?

Before Sang Ruo could react, Bo Jinyan reached for her buttocks, picked her up from the table, and carried her towards the lounge.

Sang Ruo's two fair and slender legs were currently draped over the man's waist.

The position was so suggestive that she couldn't help but blush and her heart raced.

"Bang--"

As the door closed, he also locked it from the inside.

Sang Ruo quickly broke free from his embrace, looking at him nervously: "Bo Jinyan, why is she here?"

The man pinned her against the door, pressing her hands firmly against it, a cold smile playing on his lips: "Miss Sang, you're so nervous, it's easy for me to misunderstand. You're giving me the impression that we're having an affair."

Sang Ruo quickly raised her eyes and saw a faint hint of ambiguity in the man's upturned eyes.

He raised his hand and stroked her face. When his fingertips touched her lips, her hands, which were at her sides, instinctively grabbed his wrist.

"Mr. Bo, please don't..."

The man leaned closer and lowered his voice, asking, "What do you not want?"

Sang Ruo gritted her teeth and blurted out, "Fang Jiayu is outside, please don't do this..."

The moment she finished speaking, the main door to the CEO's office was opened from the outside.

"Ayan?"

Fang Jiayu's voice continued to ring out outside, and the footsteps grew closer and closer.

Sang Ruo looked nervously at Bo Jinyan, then turned her gaze toward the French windows.

"She's looking for you, you should go outside first! I'll hide behind the curtains for a bit."

Although Fang Jiayu was already married, Sang Ruo could sense that Fang Jiayu had other feelings for Bo Jinyan, and that she was also Bo Jinyan's sweetheart.

No matter what, she couldn't let Fang Jiayu find out that she was here.

The next second, the man pushed her behind the door and then opened it.

She shouldn't be visible from the outside, but this sudden action still made Sang Ruode's back stiffen.

He stood frozen behind the door, too afraid to move.

After Bo Jinyan left, he left the door to the lounge half-closed, not completely shut.

Sang Ruo's gaze unconsciously drifted to the crack in the door, where she glimpsed Bo Jinyan walking toward the sofa, with Fang Jiayu carrying a lunchbox.

Why are you here?

Bo Jinyan glanced at Fang Jiayu in front of him, then sat down on the sofa.

Fang Jiayu glanced in the direction of the lounge, and finally took a step and walked to the sofa, sitting down opposite him.

"I just happened to be passing by, so I brought you a bento box." Fang Jiayu pointed curiously to the lounge: "It's only morning, why did you come out of the lounge?"

"I worked overtime last night and didn't get enough rest."

The man spoke casually, taking out a cigarette and lighting it.

Fang Jiayu nodded thoughtfully, then handed over the lunchbox: "Now that you've rested, eat your lunchbox! I spent an hour making it, and it's all your favorite dishes."

Bo Jinyan exhaled a puff of smoke and said calmly, "You haven't been back to Italy for so long, isn't your husband urging you?"

"I've already started the divorce proceedings with him, and we'll be able to get the certificate by the end of this month."

The man frowned slightly for a moment: "That Canadian soccer star, wasn't he treating you quite well? Why did you want a divorce?"

Fang Jiayu suddenly stood up and walked towards Bo Jinyan.

She sat down beside him: "Ayan, you know why I married him in the first place. It was to spite you, especially in the last two years of our marriage. You were all I could think about, and you weren't even married yet, so I resolutely decided to divorce him..."

The woman's hand was already on his chest, rubbing against it repeatedly.

Bo Jinyan glanced down at him, his gaze darkening for a moment.

Fang Jiayu's feelings for him were no secret to him for a long time.

She once used extremely drastic methods to force Bo Jinyan to be with her, but this completely angered Bo Jinyan, and their relationship fell into a stalemate for a period of time.

Later, he heard the news that she was getting married...

Even after getting married, he still wouldn't give up.

"Clatter—"

The sound of a door closing suddenly broke the atmosphere.

Fang Jiayu's hand, which was resting on the man's chest, paused subconsciously, and she looked warily toward the door of the lounge.

Bo Jinyan followed her gaze.

The door to the lounge was closed from the inside.

"Ayan, is someone in your lounge?"

Fang Jiayu got up and headed in that direction.

Bo Jinyan was a step ahead of her, blocking her way: "No one's here, it was probably blown away by the wind."

Seeing his unchanging expression, Fang Jiayu nodded thoughtfully: "Is that so?"

"I have other things to do, you should go back first!"

Bo Jinyan bent down and stubbed out the cigarette in his hand.

Seeing the man's slightly displeased expression, Fang Jiayu finally nodded: "Okay."

Bo Jinyan only opened the door to the lounge after Fang Jiayu closed the main door.

Sang Ruo sat alone on the sofa by the window, her back to him, lost in thought.

The man quickly approached, placing his hands on either side of the sofa back, and looked down at her profile: "Did you do that on purpose?"

Sang Ruo swallowed hard, turned her head to glance at the man behind her, and asked knowingly, "What on purpose?"
