Chapter 84 Calling a Lover
Her voice had barely faded when Bo Jinyan suddenly leaned in.
A passionate kiss landed between her lips and teeth, causing her pupils to widen slightly.
His eyes were tightly closed, yet he exuded a dangerous aura that relentlessly swept towards her.
Surprisingly, a faint hint of emotion could be seen on the man's face.
Before he officially returned to China to develop his career, their only interaction was that he had saved her a few times, but this man seemed to have long forgotten about these things.
This shows that, to him, she was just an insignificant passerby.
But ever since the fire at the orphanage, their interactions have become increasingly frequent and uncontrollable.
Now it has even gotten to the point where he would take the initiative to kiss her.
He is gradually infiltrating her life, silently lurking around her, extremely dangerous.
This completely nipped her initial desire to seduce him in the bud.
"Uncle?"
At that moment, a shout suddenly came from the living room.
Sang Ruo naturally heard the voice and instinctively reached out to block the man's chest, trying to push him away.
Bo Jinyan firmly held her hand against the door.
After the man removed his lips, he looked down at her and asked, "Miss Sang, is the feeling real enough now?"
Sang Ruo's heart felt like it was about to jump out of her throat, pounding wildly.
“Mr. Bo, I’ve already said, you shouldn’t get involved in my divorce from Bo Jinzhou, and I don’t need your help. As for today’s matter…”
"What? Are you going to pretend nothing happened again?" The man reached out and pinched her chin, lifting her face up. His tone was extremely cold: "We've basically done everything we should and shouldn't have done. Do you think you can get away unscathed?"
Sang Ruo was speechless for a moment. They had indeed done everything except for the last step.
Do you know what our current situation means to outsiders?
Bo Jinyan's lips curled into a captivating smile.
He released his grip on her chin, leaned close to her ear, and said in an extremely ambiguous tone, "Call me your lover."
As soon as she said this, her upper eyelashes fluttered wildly.
The man pulled his lips away from her ear, cupped her face, and gently caressed her cheek with his fingertips.
“Our current relationship is like that of Bo Jinzhou and Liang Yuxin…” Bo Jinyan chuckled in a low, hoarse voice, “Now you should understand, right?”
Sang Ruo suppressed her wildly beating heart and tried her best to remain calm.
She responded with the same smile: "Mr. Bo, I have no intention of being your mistress. If you need a woman like that, there are plenty of them out there. After all, there are quite a few women who admire me. Please leave me alone."
What if I say no?
The man's voice, deep and resonant, reached her ears, and her hands, gripping the hem of her skirt, involuntarily tightened for a moment.
In Sang Ruo's eyes, this man was an extremely dangerous and untouchable person.
But they ended up getting entangled.
"Uncle, Sang Ruo..."
Bo Jinzhou's shouts suddenly grew closer and closer.
Sang Ruo swallowed unconsciously: "Mr. Bo, he's already looking for us. I'll go out first, you can come out later!"
Before the man could respond, she quickly pushed him away and reached for the door.
“Miss Sang, I’ve already told you, you’ve piqued my interest. Now that you’re in my trap, I certainly won’t let you get away unscathed.”
Just then, a deep male voice came from behind.
She gripped the doorknob and suddenly stopped.
Sang Ruo suppressed her nervousness and opened the door to go out.
The man watched her departing figure, the smile on his lips never fading.
When Sang Ruo arrived at the edge of the corridor, she saw Bo Jinzhou walking towards her.
Bo Jinzhou glanced at her, then looked at the warehouse door: "What are you doing in there?"
“It’s raining quite heavily outside, so I can’t leave. I’ve got nothing else to do, so I’m just wandering around.” Sang Ruo’s voice was deep. “After all, I haven’t been back for three years. I wanted to see if anything had changed in this house…”
Her words made the man frown slightly.
He didn't respond to her question, but instead glanced around: "Have you seen Uncle?"
“He went to the restroom.” In order to give Bo Jinyan a chance to leave the warehouse, Sang Ruo looked up at him and said, “I have a few words I want to talk to you about. Please come with me.”
Sang Ruo walked forward, and only after hearing the sound of a man's footsteps behind her did she gradually feel relieved.
The two arrived in the living room and sat down facing each other.
"What do you want to tell me? Tell me now!"
Bo Jinzhou picked up the teacup on the table and drank it all in one gulp.
Sang Ruo raised her shimmering eyes and met his gaze.
After a moment, she said, "I know you care about Grandpa's health, but the current situation is not suitable for us to continue this stalemate. I hope you can sign the papers as soon as possible and cooperate with me to get a divorce."
"Is there nothing else you want to talk to me about besides this?"
The man's hand gripped the teacup tightly, his knuckles turning slightly white.
His deep eyes seemed to hold a certain unfathomable expression.
"I would love to talk to you about other things, but given our current situation, is there anything else we can talk about?"
Sang Ruo's voice was unusually calm, and her face showed little expression.
"You have nothing to say to me, but you have things to say to your mistress..." Bo Jinzhou chuckled softly, "Is that so?"
The man slammed the teacup he was holding onto the table.
"Bang--"
The sound was very loud, almost reaching every corner of the living room.
"Think what you want! I don't care anymore anyway. I'm in such a hurry to get a divorce because I don't want to ruin the Bo family's reputation because of certain things. If you're not willing to cooperate, then don't blame me if something goes wrong."
As soon as she finished speaking, the man's voice rose a few decibels: "You're quite good at disclaiming responsibility!"
"I don't intend to distance myself from this; I'm just telling the truth."
Because you can't hide fire with paper, the current situation is far too dangerous.
Although Bo Jinzhou still can't find out who was there that night, he will find out someday.
Moreover, Bo Jinyan was more dangerous than he had imagined.
She dared not continue gambling, lest she end up being labeled a 'promiscuous' woman.
“I’ve said it before, you can get a divorce if you want…” Bo Jinzhou said casually, “but at least we should wait until Grandpa’s health is stable before we talk about it.”
Sang Ruo's face darkened: "Can you stop using Grandpa as an excuse?"
