Chapter Fifty-Eight: Married Women
Sang Ruo instinctively dodged to the side.
The man's hand, which was holding her chin, was forced to release itself.
Bo Jinyan glanced at the empty hand, then put it down.
His tone was utterly cold and indifferent: "She's married."
Sang Ruo's back suddenly stiffened slightly.
Do you like married women?
That was truly explosive...
"I really couldn't tell!" Sang Ruo curled her lips into a smile, trying to hide her confusion and nervousness. "That's a real shame."
“There’s nothing to regret.” Bo Jinyan said, word by word, “So what if you’re married? It’s just a piece of paper. It can’t tie two people together for life. After all, they will still get divorced. Aren’t you and your nephew getting divorced too?”
Sang Ruo stared at him in shock, speechless for a moment.
This was the first time she had heard about Bo Jinyan's love life, and she never expected that his true thoughts were like this...
I wondered if he would be a good support.
But she already has someone in her heart.
A sense of loss inexplicably rose in Sang Ruo's heart.
Not wanting to linger any longer, she nodded slightly and prepared to get off the bus.
But her wrist was suddenly grabbed by the man from the side.
Sang Ruo instinctively turned her head, just as Bo Jinyan was approaching.
Her lips were almost touching his.
Sang Ruo's heart leaped into her throat, and the hand holding the letter trembled slightly.
When she looked up, the man's eyes suddenly appeared magnified in front of her.
Those long, curled eyelashes fluttered one after another.
They were so close that she could feel the man's even breathing.
Sang Ruo wanted to distance herself from him, but she had only moved a few steps away when the man's large hand instantly moved from her wrist to the back of her neck.
"Mr. Bo, you..."
Sang Ruo's heart was pounding wildly.
The two previous times we were this close were when she was unconscious.
One time was at the scene of the fire, and the other time was after she was drunk.
However, Sang Ruo was fully awake at the moment, so it was inevitable that she would be nervous.
After all, the person in front of him was Bo Jinyan...
"Miss Sang, I helped you so much yesterday, aren't you going to treat me to a meal?"
Bo Jinyan moved a little further away, but the hand on the back of her neck still did not let go.
The man's fingertips even intentionally or unintentionally caressed her skin.
An ambiguous atmosphere instantly filled the air.
"Of course I will." Sang Ruo suppressed her inner turmoil and pretended to be calm. "Mr. Bo, if you have time, you can send me a message. I will definitely treat you to a meal another day."
The man nodded in satisfaction: "Mm."
“Mr. Bo.” Sang Ruo reached out and gently patted the man’s arm. “Your hand…”
Bo Jinyan's gaze fell on her hands.
He curled his thin lips into a smile and said calmly, "What? Are you afraid that your nephew has spies around here?"
“Although we did engage in intimate behavior, it was an accident after all.” Sang Ruo raised her eyes and smiled at him. “Besides, since Mr. Bo has someone he likes, it is natural to keep your distance.”
Bo Jin extended his fingertip and suddenly caressed her lips: "I told you last time, if necessary, I don't mind playing along with you, because my nephew is indeed arrogant and needs to be taught a lesson."
Sang Ruo swallowed hard: "I shouldn't have chosen Mr. Bo, no matter who I choose."
"Choosing someone doesn't matter." Bo Jinyan gently pressed her lower lip, his gaze fixed on her upper lip. "If Miss Sang chooses me, the probability of my nephew going crazy is much higher than with anyone else."
Sang Ruo discovered for the first time that this man also had a crazy side.
"Why did Mr. Bo help me? You clearly have someone you admire..."
“We’re all family, we can’t bear to see you suffer.” Bo Jinyan curled his thin lips: “Is this reason satisfactory?”
"I have no plans to deal with him for the time being, thank you Mr. Bo."
Sang Ruo quickly pulled away from him and reached out to open the door.
Before the man could respond, she quickly left.
Bo Jinyan glanced at her retreating figure, and a slight smile suddenly appeared on his lips.
She's quite easily amused.
Sang Ruo quickly entered the house, closed the door, and then stood behind it.
The hand holding the letter was now covering her chest, rising and falling continuously.
"Did you see a ghost? Why are you so nervous?"
Hearing the noise, Chen Anni poked her head out of the room and looked at Sang Ruo in front of the door on the first floor.
Sang Ruo was already nervous, and when she heard Chen Anni's sudden voice, she was so frightened that her body trembled.
"Don't joke around." Sang Ruo glared at her. "Go to sleep."
Chen Anni's smile deepened: "Was it because your ex-husband forcibly kissed you?"
Sang Ruo rolled her eyes at her and said seriously, "Then I'd rather encounter a ghost..."
"If Bo Jinzhou heard this, do you think he would come rushing in with a two-meter-long sword?"
Chen Anni leaned against the second-floor corridor, laughing unrestrainedly.
Sang Ruo said calmly, "Our door is less than two meters wide; his knife can't get in."
Chen Anni smiled broadly, then turned and went into the room: "Get some rest! It's very late."
Sang Ruo gave a soft "hmm" in response and quickly walked into the bathroom.
My mood gradually calmed down after taking a shower.
She never imagined that she would become so close to Bo Jinzhou's uncle, and she never expected that Bo Jinyan would actually offer to play along with her in order to deal with Bo Jinzhou for her.
This was originally a great opportunity.
But undeniably, she chickened out...
To be precise, I was a little hesitant to get close to him.
She always felt that this man was far more complex than he appeared.
The next day was the fourth day of the clinic's opening. After arriving at the clinic, Sang Ruo promptly affixed the envelope, attracting many passersby to come and watch.
Some of the patients also came forward, shaking their heads as they looked at the contents of the envelope.
[So it was all a deliberate attempt to cause trouble?]
This TCM doctor, Sang, is very skilled. Don't be frightened by what happened yesterday; her medical skills are among the best in the capital.
[I heard he's a miracle doctor, is that true?]
[A miracle doctor? You're exaggerating!]
[Don't believe me? Go in and try it...]
...
Sang Ruo sat at the consultation table, listening to their back-and-forth conversation, and couldn't help but smile.
It seems her method worked.
Even if they weren't there for her medical skills, she successfully piqued their curiosity.
Even people who don't go to the doctor want to come in and see her.
Chen Wuye was somewhat surprised to see that there were even more customers today than yesterday: "Sister Xiaoruo, your trick is really effective! It hits the nail on the head!"
