Chapter Thirty: Rent at a Bargain Price
Sang Ruo paused for a moment.
Not many people know about this, and she didn't say that she took over the shop to open a clinic.
How did he know that?
Although Sang Ruo hesitated, she still spoke the truth: "Yes."
"I have a really nice place here, would you like to go check it out?"
The man's voice fell silent as he lowered his eyes and gazed at her quietly.
Sang Ruo paused for a moment: "Mr. Bo, are you going to show me a place? Is it your friend's house?"
“Yes, it belongs to my friend.” Bo Jinyan had already reached for the back seat of the car: “It’s a two-story house. It used to be a tea shop, used to entertain clients. Now the tea shop has moved to a new address, and that location is currently vacant.”
As soon as she finished speaking, Sang Ruo saw that the car door was already open.
When she looked up at the man in front of her, she met his sincere gaze.
It doesn't seem like a joke.
"Okay, then I'll go with you to take a look."
Sang Ruo climbed directly into the car and made eye contact with the man in the driver's seat.
Sang Ruo recognized him; this man was none other than Bo Jinyan's special assistant, Zhang Ye.
The other person nodded slightly in greeting, and she responded with the same smile.
The people around Bo Jinyan all have the same temperament as him, appearing extremely cold and composed.
The two barely spoke the entire way. If it weren't for the soft, relaxing music playing in the car, Sang Ruo felt the atmosphere was almost suffocating.
The location is in the city center, in a very bustling area, about half an hour's drive from Youfenglou.
If I decide on this location, I'll definitely have to consider buying a car for commuting.
However, this was also part of her plan.
"This is it."
Bo Jinyan led her inside.
Zhang Ye led the way and opened the door to the tea shop.
It's not very big, but it's not small either; it's perfect for using as a clinic.
Since it was originally a tea shop, the decor is very antique, and many areas don't need to be renovated and can be used directly.
Moreover, the environment is very new, and it should have been renovated in the last two years.
Such a good location must cost a lot of money, right?
Although she and Bo Jinyan are currently considered family, they won't be for long, so there's no reason for them to give her a discount.
"How is it? Does it feel right?"
Zhang Ye looked at Sang Ruo, a faint smile appearing on his face.
“This place is great, I really like it.” Sang Ruo turned to look at Zhang Ye: “With such a good location and no need for renovations, it must be expensive, right?”
Although she profited three million from the pair of lions that Bo Jinzhou gave to Liang Yuxin, the costs of opening a clinic and making jade later would require a considerable sum, so she had to control costs as much as possible.
"That depends on Bo..."
Before Zhang Ye could finish speaking, Bo Jinyan interrupted him: "What's your budget?"
"My budget is around eight thousand a month, but a house here would cost at least thirty thousand to start, right?"
Sang Ruo raised her eyes and met the man's captivating phoenix eyes.
Bo Jinyan said in a calm tone, "My friend offered five thousand."
"Five thousand?" Sang Ruo's pupils widened in shock. "How could your friend have managed to negotiate such a low price?"
Such a nice house should be in high demand.
Zhang Ye, who was standing to the side, was also shocked.
This is clearly Mr. Bo's own property, so how did it become his friend's?
Moreover, the market price is clearly 50,000 per month...
“He owns many properties and doesn’t care about the price. He’s always been looking for the right person to take him. Rather than selling them to someone else to do other business, it’s more appropriate for him to use them to save lives.”
Sang Ruo listened to his words and nodded thoughtfully: "Your friend is quite special."
The man glanced at her indifferently and didn't say a word.
Zhang Ye, standing to the side, reached out and touched the tip of his nose, subconsciously lowering his eyes.
"If you like it, I'll have him draft a contract and send it to your home later."
"Okay, thank you, Mr. Bo." Sang Ruo smiled slightly. "I'm sure I want this house."
Bo Jinyan curled his thin lips into a half-smile.
Sang Ruo had to go to Song Linlin's primary school in the afternoon, so she parted ways with Bo Jinyan at the tea shop.
The man got into the car and looked at the woman's departing figure.
"Mr. Bo, why are you hiding this from Miss Sang? This is your business."
Zhang Ye's voice came from ahead, and Bo Jinyan turned his gaze back.
He stroked the ring on his right hand, his voice deep: "Draft a contract tomorrow and personally deliver it to her house. Sign the contract with her in A-Qing's name. The house is also under his name, so it's all legally sound."
Zhang Ye's brow furrowed slightly.
Upon hearing this, one can probably guess the reason.
He nodded quickly: "Yes, Mr. Bo."
No sooner had he finished speaking than Bo Jinyan's phone rang.
He glanced down and saw that it was his best friend, Fu Chenqing, calling.
He put the phone to his ear: "What's up?"
"Your tea shop has an acquaintance offering 120,000 yuan a month. Although 120,000 yuan is nothing to our CEO Bo, it's still just sitting idle. Aren't you really considering renting it out? Anyway, that place..."
"It's already out."
Bo Jinyan's words were concise and to the point.
"Rented out? When did that happen? I heard Zhang Ye say yesterday that the house is still there!"
Fu Chenqing on the other end of the phone sounded completely surprised.
The man said casually, "Just now."
Fu Chenqing pressed on, unwilling to give up, "How much did it cost to rent it out? Don't get ripped off, that location should start at least at 100,000..."
"Five thousand."
"What? Bo Jinyan, are you out of your mind? Although you don't really have any feelings for that place, it was still the first property we acquired together! You can't just sell it for a pittance, can you?"
"I'll have Zhang Ye deliver the contract tonight."
Before the other party could respond, Bo Jinyan quickly hung up the phone.
Although their call wasn't on speakerphone, the volume from the receiver wasn't quiet, and since they were waiting at a traffic light, Zhang Ye could hear it all clearly.
It is truly incomprehensible what Mr. Bo's intentions were in doing this.
When Sang Ruo arrived at the school gate, a teacher was already waiting for her.
She recently visited three schools, but 'Xinyi School' had the best reputation. With summer vacation approaching, she needed to take advantage of the end of the semester to help Song Linlin enroll so that she could get used to school life for half a month in advance.
As Sang Ruo came out of school, she heard someone call out to her from behind: "Sang Ruo, what are you doing here?"
Upon hearing the voice, she stopped and turned to meet the man's deep eyes, her body suddenly stiffening slightly.
The person standing behind him was Bo Jinzhou.
The man stopped in front of her: "Did the teacher also contact you to attend Xiaokang's parent-teacher conference?"
