Chapter 392: Adding insult to injury (Part 2)

When Ding Zhen saw his wife for the first time, he almost didn't recognize her. She had changed her clothes and put on makeup, and she looked like a completely different person compared to usual. Her clothes were a bit revealing, a princess dress with the belt pulled very low, most of her chest was exposed, and it was about to burst out.

He had never seen his wife dressed like this in the three years since they got married. He always thought his wife was a very conservative person. Watching her leave the house and walk out of the community, Ding Zhen rubbed his eyes hard before he was sure, and hurriedly got up to follow her.

They went straight to the roadside and his wife got into a black car. Ding Zhen also took a taxi and followed behind. Soon the two cars arrived next to another residential area.

The black car drove straight into the underground garage, while the taxi couldn't get in and had to park outside. Ding Zhen paid the fare and jogged all the way to the garage. When he got there, he saw his wife in the arms of a middle-aged man, the two of them chatting and laughing as they walked into the building.

As he walked, the middle-aged man's hands were still not honest. He reached in along the belt on his chest to grasp the softness, and his face showed the look of a hungry wolf pouncing on its prey.

Ding Zhen saw all of this. He was so angry that his blood rushed to his head and he was shaking all over. However, he also knew that if he caught the adulterer, he had to catch him thoroughly and not give the couple any chance to explain. So he suppressed his anger and followed behind quietly.

After entering the corridor, the two went up to the second floor, opened the door on the left, and couldn't wait to hug each other, kissing as they walked in.

Standing in front of the door, listening to the unbearable sounds faintly coming from inside, Ding Zhen's teeth were about to break. After studying the door lock for a long time and finding that the security door could not be opened, he went to the outside of the building, found the window and looked up, he saw that the window where the kitchen on the second floor was open, and there was no anti-theft net installed.

Seeing that it was already dark and there was no one around, he climbed up to the second floor via the platform on the first floor, came to the kitchen, removed the screen window, and climbed in through the window.

Ding Zhen had a good plan. He wanted to sneak into the room and catch his wife in bed, thus completely proving that his wife was cheating.

But he was not a professional after all, and he was busy all day long and lacked physical exercise, so some of his actions seemed clumsy. After removing the screen window, he failed to hold it firmly, and it fell directly to the first floor, making a loud noise.

The two people in the room who were in the middle of a passionate moment noticed the noise. The middle-aged man came out shirtless to check what was going on. Seeing Ding Zhen with one foot on the window frame, he shouted, "What are you doing?!"

Ding Zhen was furious at the middle-aged man, as if he were meeting an enemy. He yelled at him at the top of his lungs, "Who the hell are you? You fucking slept with my wife. What do you think I do? If you're a real man, just stand there and don't move. I'm going to go in and chop you to death!"

As he spoke, he went into the kitchen and reached out to grab the kitchen knife from the knife rack next to him.

Upon hearing this, the middle-aged man instantly understood Ding Zhen's identity. He was worried that Ding Zhen would rush in in an extremely excited state and really hack him to death, so he gritted his teeth and rushed over, grabbing Ding Zhen's hands tightly, neither letting him in nor out. For a while, the two of them were in a stalemate, one in the room and the other outside the window.

At the same time, in the bedroom, his wife also reacted and confirmed Ding Zhen's identity from the voice. She hurriedly put on the clothes she had taken off, covered her face and rushed out of the room, opened the door and ran out.

Ding Zhen saw it all. He watched his wife leave and struggled, cursing loudly: "Bitch, where the hell are you running to! How dare you cheat on me and not admit it! Come back! Come back to me!!!"

The two people's noise immediately attracted the attention of other residents, and neighbors, passers-by, and community property management all gathered together.

Seeing the crowd growing, the middle-aged man felt a little embarrassed. After all, this kind of thing couldn't be said openly. In a hurry, he rolled his eyes and played the game of "the thief crying catch thief". He grabbed Ding Zhen tightly and shouted loudly: "Catch the thief! Catch the thief!"

This was the middle-aged man's home, and Ding Zhen was hanging outside at the moment. Coupled with the shouts of "Catch the thief", people who came later, not knowing the situation, naturally thought that Ding Zhen was a burglar and was caught first. Someone called the police at that time, and unemployed security guards also rushed to the front, and did not give Ding Zhen a chance to stand firm, and dragged him to control him.

When they arrived at the police station, the two naturally had different stories. One said that Ding Zhen broke into the house and committed burglary, while the other said that the middle-aged man had an affair with his wife.

Originally, Ding Zhen couldn't be blamed for this, but the problem was that Ding Zhen's wife had already run away, and he claimed the middle-aged man and his wife had an affair, which was neither confirmed nor documented. The middle-aged man, on the other hand, claimed he had broken into the house and burglarized it, with overwhelming evidence, witnessed by a large crowd of onlookers, and traces of Ding Zhen climbing up the stairs. With all the witnesses and evidence, it was difficult to justify his claim of catching someone in an affair.

After a whole night of tossing and turning, the middle-aged man was released, but Ding Zhen was temporarily detained on suspicion of theft, awaiting further investigation results.

Ding Zhen believed that he had nothing to fear from his own shadow. He hadn't stolen anything, so he wasn't afraid of investigation. However, the middle-aged man and his wife had already begun to plot to send him to prison, so that his wife could take over the noodle shop and all the property, and live with him without worry.

So the next day, the middle-aged man went to the police station to report the case again, saying that he had gone back to check and found that a lot of things were indeed lost. Some minor things could be ignored, but one of them was a famous watch worth more than 60,000 yuan. The box and invoice when he bought it were still kept, but the watch inside was missing. He suspected that this was not the first time Ding Zhen committed a crime, and the watch was stolen before!

The police then interrogated Ding Zhen again. Upon hearing this, Ding Zhen, if he hadn't been handcuffed and restrained by an interrogation chair, would have rushed out and killed the middle-aged man. He gritted his teeth and retorted, "I couldn't even get through his kitchen window completely, and I stole a luxury watch! What a thief! Investigate! Investigate quickly! I don't believe this can't clear my name!"

Ding Zhen's reaction was very intense, and the police also realized that he did not look like a thief. The community surveillance video showed that when the incident happened that night, a disheveled woman did run out of the building.

In order to give Ding Zhen justice, the police applied for a search warrant and conducted a routine search at his home.

It would have been better if I hadn't searched. After a search, I actually found a valuable watch in the closet. After comparing it with the batch number, model and other relevant information, I confirmed that it was the one the middle-aged man lost!
