Ex waved his hand and said, "No. Just because the other party made a phone call from Alice's Bar doesn't mean Clark is actually at Alice's Bar."
Calvin asked, "Then what do we do?"
After a moment's thought, Ex picked up the phone and dialed a number.
"Mr. Ex, is there something you need?"
"Pound, my son has been kidnapped. Did you do it?"
"Are you kidding me? How could I possibly kidnap your son?"
"So who do you think it could be?"
"You have too many enemies; I can't possibly know them all."
“There’s a leader in the Hung Hing triad on Hong Kong Island named Sham Tung, and I have some past grievances with him. I heard you have a good relationship with him.”
"He did come to me, hoping I would join him in dealing with you. However, I didn't agree. Although I really wanted to kill you, it was simply impossible for him, a Hong Kong Islander, to do so."
"Okay, I understand."
After hanging up the phone, Ex pondered for a moment and said, "There are two possibilities. One is that Shen Dong was behind it, deliberately calling me from Ex's bar to try and start a fight so he could reap the benefits. The other is that Morris was behind it and framed Shen Dong. Calvin, which one do you think is more likely?"
Calvin thought for a moment and said, "Pound Morris."
Ex raised an eyebrow and asked, "Why?"
Calvin said, "Mr. Ex, the casino that young master Clark went to is very secretive. Ordinary people don't know about it at all, let alone an outsider like Shen Dong."
Ex nodded and said, "You're right. Shen Dong couldn't possibly know about that casino, and even if he did, he couldn't possibly know that Clark would be going there tonight."
Calvin said, "That's right. Whoever kidnapped Clark, Pound Morris is definitely involved."
"Cavan, that's a good analysis. You're getting smarter and smarter," Ex praised.
"I learned it all from you," Caven said. "Mr. Ex, what do we do now?"
Ex said coldly, "If Maurice arrested my son, we'll arrest his son. Didn't you say you'd already sent someone to infiltrate his son's bodyguard team?"
Calvin said, "I'll get right on it. I'll bring Maurice's son, Robert, over before 2 p.m.
Ex waved his hand and said, "Go."
