Chapter 564 Double-crossing

A coffee shop in Central

Defoe Martin stared at the man in front of him, who was wearing sunglasses and had an extremely arrogant attitude, and his face turned very ugly.

The man's name was Fu Guang, Yan Leng's closest partner. He had more than 5,000 antiques, all of which they intercepted through the Hill Group.

What annoyed Defoe Martin was that the other party had used this opportunity to acquire so many antiques without spending a penny, and in principle, he should have been given a discount.

Unexpectedly, this guy asked for a staggering $100 million.

This is outrageous!

Fu Guang took a sip of coffee and smiled, "Mr. Martin, I heard that someone from your company headquarters will be coming to investigate the antiques tomorrow. Right now, apart from me, I'm afraid no one in the entire Hong Kong Island can save you."

Defoe Martin snorted and said, "You only have five thousand antiques. Even if you sell them all to me, you still won't be able to explain it to headquarters."

Fu Guang was now confident of victory, so he wasn't in a hurry and said leisurely, "It's indeed not enough, but it's enough to help you get through this. When they check the warehouse tomorrow, you can say that the other antiques are still in the mainland. Because the situation is too tense, they won't be able to enter Hong Kong Island for a while. Hehe, with this buffer time, you can think of another way."

Defoe Martin gave him a deep look and sneered, "Mr. Fu, you've got me cornered, haven't you?"

Fu Guang said smugly, "Do you have any other ideas?"

Defoe Martin said, "I can only allocate a maximum of sixty million US dollars, that's my bottom line."

Fu Guang laughed and said, "Then I can sell you three thousand antiques."

Defoe Martin said, "No, I want all your antiques. I will return two thousand of them to you after the headquarters personnel leave."

Fu Guang said, "The rental fee is two million US dollars."

"Bang"

Defoe Martin slammed his hand on the table and said sternly, "Don't go too far."

Fu Guang chuckled and said, "Don't be angry. Considering our many years of cooperation, the loan fee will be waived. Mr. Martin, when will you pay?"

Defoe Martin pulled a check from his pocket and handed it to Fu Guang, saying, "This is a deposit of ten million US dollars. I will give you the remaining fifty million US dollars whenever I see the antique."

Fu Guang snapped his fingers and said, "No problem. Mr. Martin, it's a pleasure to work with you."

Defoe Martin snorted and said, "I'm feeling very unhappy right now."

It was originally their property, but someone took it without their permission, and now they have to pay to buy it back. It's simply outrageous.

Fu Guang waved the check in his hand and said, "No matter what, money that's in my hands won't be returned."

On the way back, Defoe Martin's eyes were filled with murderous intent. He said to the driver, "Once we get the antique, kill Fu Guang and his accomplices immediately. Damn it, these Hong Kong people are not trustworthy."

The driver replied, "Yes."

On the other side, Fu Guang came out of the coffee shop, took a taxi, drove around several times to make sure no one was following him, and then arrived at a yacht docked at Repulse Bay Wharf.

There were three people sitting inside, all of whom were Fu Guang's right-hand men.

The man on the left, named Lu Chengliang, is 1.8 meters tall with a sinister look in his eyes. He is peeling an apple with a dagger.

The man in the middle is named Wang Zhaolong, known in the martial arts world as Black Dragon. He has dark skin and used to fight in underground boxing matches; his kung fu is quite good.

The man on the right is named Gong Wei. He is not tall, but his eyes are bright and piercing.

If Shen Dong were here, he would know that Gong Wei was an undercover agent sent by the inland police just by hearing his name.

Fu Guang took the apple from Lu Chengliang, took a big bite, and said, "We're going to be busy tonight. Defoe Martin is willing to spend 60 million US dollars to buy our antiques."

Upon hearing this, Wang Zhaolong's eyes lit up, and he exclaimed, "Damn, it's worth so much!"

Fu Guang sneered, "The Americans have never been reliable. They spent sixty million US dollars to buy three thousand antiques that originally belonged to them. If it were you, would you obediently pay up?"

Gong Wei said, "No. Boss, the other side might just eat us up after they see the antique."

Fu Guang's eyes flashed, and he asked, "What do you think we should do?"

Fu Guang still had some doubts about Gong Wei, who had only joined their team less than two months ago.

They had tested him many times in recent days, but Gong Wei had not revealed the slightest flaw.

This put Fu Guang's mind at ease.

Gong Wei said without hesitation, "He wants to devour us, and we can devour him after we get the money. Boss, it's best to have them take cash with them."

Fu Guang asked, "Why?"

Gong Wei said, "If it's a check, we can't verify it. If there's a problem with the check, it will be a huge problem."

Fu Guang laughed heartily and said, "I thought of that long ago. Before he left, I told him he had to use non-consecutive serial number US dollars."

Gong Wei gave a thumbs up and said, "The boss is really thoughtful."

Fu Guang said, "Heilong, go find three big trucks and put some things in them. Aliang, take your weapons to the usual spot and have the brothers get ready beforehand."

Lu Chengliang and Wang Zhaolong both said at the same time, "Yes."

Fu Guang looked at Gong Wei and said, "Awei, you go to make the deal in my place."

Gong Wei was taken aback, pointed to his nose, and said, "Boss, isn't this a bit inappropriate?"

Fu Guang said, "There's nothing inappropriate about it. Just say I have diarrhea and can't come over."

Gong Wei thought for a moment and said, "Boss, what I'm worried about is that the other party wants to inspect the goods first before paying. If I don't agree, they might cancel the deal."
