Ye Daying took a bite of food and then poured himself another glass.
"The second cup of wine is for Brother Shen. We two brothers are destined to be together, so let's skip the formalities of chopping off chicken heads and burning yellow paper to swear brotherhood. Let's have a drink together."
Shen Fang picked up his wine glass, and the two of them downed it in one gulp.
As soon as he drank the wine, Chen Fang felt a burning sensation rising in his abdomen.
"Phew, this liquor is really strong. Wow, it warms me up after drinking it."
Shen Fang took off his coat.
Zhao Benshan also raised his glass.
"Brother Cheng Long, President Shen, President Yang, I'd like to propose a toast to you all."
"Old Zhao, you can't toast three people with one cup of wine. That's not right of you."
Zhao Benshan rolled his eyes at Fan Wei.
"I've never backed down when it comes to drinking. Let me start with three glasses to whet my appetite. I'm really lucky to have you two today; this wine is top-notch. I'm going to drink a lot more."
Zhao Benshan drank one cup after another, downing three cups in a row. He drank them like water, without eating a single bite of food.
Shen Fang couldn't help but admire him.
"Everyone says that Northeasterners drink alcohol like it's water, wow, I'm impressed."
Qin Hailu laughed: "Not all of them are like that, but most of them can drink. It's cold where we are, so drinking in winter keeps us warm. But Teacher Zhao's alcohol tolerance is well-known in the industry."
Ye Daying smiled and said, "That's all for today, 20 jin. Let's drink until we drop."
And so it went, one cup after another, until Chen Fang, Cheng Long, and Albert Yeung were completely out of it. Chen Daoming, Zhang Guoli, and Wang Gang were also out of it. Then Zhao Benshan pulled Ye Daying, Wang Shuo, and Fan Wei into a drinking contest.
It was already dark.
Shen Fang woke up groggily, because he needed to urinate.
We found the toilet and sprinkled water on it.
