"I dreamt you were in my bed."

Ling Junyan: "..."

After hearing the other party did not respond for a long time, Yun Qi looked up and saw Ling Junyan staring at him with a serious expression.

Yun Qi raised an eyebrow in confusion and further explained, "I dreamed that you occupied my bed, and I got angry and yelled at you. Who knew that I would yell at you in real life as well."

He waved his hands wordlessly.

Ling Junyan breathed a sigh of relief after hearing this, and then looked away, "It's just a bed. I took yours, and I will return it in the future. There's no need to be angry."

Yun Qi: “…”

"Brother, do you know what a dream is? You want me to think rationally in a dream about whether you will return me in the future? That's ridiculous..."

Ling Junyan frowned slightly, "You've been getting more irritable lately."

As soon as he said this, Yun Qi felt a chill creeping up his spine. He shuddered, turned his head awkwardly, and then smiled:

"Oh, no, no, I've been having a hard time lately and I'm feeling irritable. Please, Your Highness, please don't take it personally. Thinking too much is bad for your health."

His flattering expression made Ling Junyan feel good, so he restrained his expression and looked less scary.

"Forget it, let's get down to business."

Yun Qi nodded and listened attentively.

Ling Junyan continued, "Recently, Minister He has repeatedly advised my father in the court, saying that Wengzhou has been suffering from a severe drought for several days and that the people should be exempted from taxes. This should be a good thing that benefits both the country and the people, but..."

"Wait a minute!"

Yun Qi didn't understand what was going on and interrupted Ling Junyan directly.

Ling Junyan looked at him in confusion.

Yun Qi then appeared to have encountered something truly extraordinary, his thoughts still lingering on the surface. He hesitantly asked, "Should you…should you tell…me about these things?"

"What do you want to say?"

"Oh..." Yun Qi was worried that he didn't understand, so he tried to change the way he said it.

"I, Yun Qi." Yun Qi emphasized as he moved closer to Ling Junyan, as if afraid that the other party couldn't see who he was. "Are you sure you want to tell me about these important matters in the court..."

"You don't want to listen?"

"Well... well, forget it. I've already said it clearly. Didn't you discuss all this with Xu Qingchi before? Why are you thinking of changing people today?"

Yun Qi really wanted to ask, but for some reason Ling Junyan seemed a little angry. He said with a stern face, "If you don't want to hear it, forget it. There's no need to lecture others."

As soon as he finished speaking, he stood up and turned away without any hesitation.

Yun Qi was stunned by his actions until he heard a "bang" sound from the door and came to his senses.

Yun Qi tutted his words and shook his head, "You said my temper was getting worse, but I think your temper is even worse..."

He was too lazy to argue with Ling Junyan. After thinking for a while, he fell on the bed and stared at Cheng Chen in a daze.

After being brought back by Ling Junyan, he gave him another chance to explain, and as expected, he forgave him again.

First it was his plan, then he had no choice. Yun Qi didn't know when he became so "considerate".

But what did he just say?

It was not until this moment that Yun Qi carefully recalled the specific content of Ling Jun's words.

Yun Qi muttered, "Minister He, you should be talking about... the Minister of Revenue, why? What happened? There's a severe drought in Wengzhou, Wengzhou... Wengzhou!?"

Yunqi sat up suddenly.

Originally, there was nothing wrong with Wengzhou, but it became a problem because of He Yuan.

He Yuan used to have a close relationship with Xu Qingchi's father, but on the night when Xu Qingchi's father was convicted, he expressed his loyalty to the emperor and drew a clear line with the Xu family.

And Wengzhou is where Xu's father started his rebellion!

Yun Qi didn't understand why he knew it so clearly. When he told Ling Junyan Bingming in the cave, he knew nothing. If he had known it in advance, he would not have faced it head-on.

So, how could He Yuan mention this matter to the emperor without any concerns? What bargaining chips did he have in his hand that could avoid suspicion?

Could it be that Ling Junyan wanted to bring up this matter just now?

Yunqi slapped his head.

"Know more, why do you always get stuck at the critical point? Oh, no, I still have to tell him about this."

So Yunqi got out of bed, put on some clothes, and came to the door of Ling Junyan's room.

Unexpectedly, he was stopped by the servants.

"His Highness has gone to bed. If you have anything to say, I can pass it on to you, or you can come back tomorrow."

"Are you asleep? Didn't you just come out of my room?"

Yunqi's voice was so loud that the servant felt a little embarrassed, because he also heard that Yunqi was brought back by Ling Junyan, and it was hard for him not to think of something.

"Well, sir, His Highness has indeed gone to bed."

Yun Qi sighed and didn't make it difficult for him, "Okay."

Then he turned and left, but after a while he came back.

Servant: "Sir, why are you..."

Yun Qi negotiated, "Just let me in. It's really uncomfortable to hold back what's going on."

"I can help convey it."

"Even if you tell him, he won't know until tomorrow. Besides, this is a serious matter and we can't delay it."

"But His Highness has instructed..."

"Oh~ His Highness instructed me not to let Quan Qi in?"

Facing Yun Qi's questioning, the servant didn't know what to say. Ling Junyan had ordered him not to let anyone in, but after all, he followed it up with another sentence:

Especially Yunqi.

It sounded like a group of people were implicated because of one person. What Yun Qi said was essentially correct, but what if something important was really delayed?

Just when the servant was in a dilemma, Yun Qi said, "It's okay, just move aside. Don't worry, I won't go in. I'll stay here."

The servant heaved a sigh of relief after hearing this and moved to the side. He had thought that things were over, but then he heard Yun Qi's furious roar.

"Ling Junyan, you're such a grown-up and you still throw tantrums. You can hold back and talk about important matters halfway, but when you come back you just lie down on the bed. Can you please take some responsibility?"

"Hey hey hey!!!" The servant was frightened by him and rushed forward hurriedly to stop him: "Young Master, stop it, you will disturb His Highness's rest. If His Highness is unhappy, it will be us who will suffer."

His words made Yun Qi stunned for a moment. At this time, several servants around were looking over here, wanting to see what was going on.

Yun Qi lowered his voice and asked, "In your or everyone's mind, is Ling Junyan so indiscriminate?"

The servant was startled and lowered his head hurriedly, "I dare not."

In fact, Yunqi was asking a question, but the servant heard it as a statement and thought the other party was challenging him.

Yun Qi looked at him, thought for a few moments, and then said something that surprised the servant, "It seems he really needs to change. If he continues like this, who would dare to work for him?"

The servant raised his eyes and was speechless for a long time. His shock also made him ignore the term in Yun Qi's words that he had never heard of.

Then, the door of Ling Junyan's room was opened with a bang. Yun Qi was not ready yet and was startled.

Facing Ling Junyan's stern face, Yun Qi admitted that he was still powerless.

Ling Junyan walked over quickly without saying a word and stopped in front of Yun Qi.

"Don't you have something to tell me?"

"I... Yeah, yes."

"Let's go." Ling Junyan grabbed his collar and dragged him into the house in front of everyone.
