Chapter 1: Lynch of Lustria

Chapter 1: Lynch of Lustria

Ancient Lustria, on a continent similar to South America.

There are magnificent pyramids hidden in the tall rainforest.

Upright lizard-like species rode dinosaurs and roamed the wide streets.

Deep beneath the pyramids, clear pools are filled with tadpole-like creatures that prey on insects.

Every once in a while, hundreds of tadpole-like creatures turn into lizardmen and are hatched.

It was another batch of newly born lizardmen. Among these sturdy monsters that were half a head taller than humans even when they bent over, a lizardman who was out of tune with his kind stood out particularly.

Lynch looked at the underground atoll furtively and followed his fellow brothers to the armory not far away.

As a visitor from another world who is familiar with this one, after the initial shock and novelty wore off, Lynch was left with only sadness.

First, Lynch became a member of the sunset race, the Lizard People.

Moreover, he is the "Thorass" of the warrior class.

The Glory of the Lizardmen When the Ancients came, these alien visitors transformed the local species to help them complete their mysterious grand plan.

The toad-like "Shilan" are their assistants, but their bodies are too fragile, so the ancient saints created the lizardman Thoros who were born for fighting.

The ancient saints needed some clever servants, so the short and agile lizard "Shijiank" was born.

Obviously, labor is also indispensable for these planet transformers, and the giant lizard "Krasigor" came into being.

Under the command of the ancient saints, temple cities sprang up one after another, and native species were transformed and optimized.

Countless lizardmen regiments were sent to eliminate local species that did not conform to the "grand plan".

The assistant of the ancient saint, the first generation of Shilan with great power shortened the distance between the sun and the planets.

The planet's environment became more suitable for mortals, but creatures such as dragons were forced to sleep due to the change in temperature.

The second generation of Shilan forged the continents, shaping them into plates like the continents of the earth.

The desolate world became prosperous and flourished in an orderly manner.

Everything ended in a catastrophe!

The shadows of the Warp took notice of this world, and one night, the portals at both poles collapsed, allowing unrivaled Chaos power to pour into the planet.

The ancient saint also disappeared overnight.

They may have escaped, after all, the power of the Four Chaos Gods cannot be defied.

It could also be that there is a fierce tit-for-tat with the Chaos Gods in dimensions unseen by mortals.

In the chaotic realm where time had lost its meaning, the ancient saints were eventually slaughtered by the power of chaos.

All in all, the only ones left in this world are the Lizardmen who have lost their guide, and the elves, dwarves, humans and other races that have been transformed and optimized by the Ancient Saints.

Endless demons poured out from the two poles. As the first guardian, the Lizardman took on the task of fighting chaos in the early stages.

But even biological weapons require processes and time to manufacture, but demons don't.

In the Chaos Realm, there are so many demons that they cannot be summed up in numbers! Although the Lizardmen have the upper hand in most battles, Chaos demons continue to emerge from the subspace.

This is a losing battle.

Temple cities were destroyed one after another, and thousands of years of war brought the Lizardman Empire into its twilight.

If given a choice, Lynch would rather travel through time and space and become an ordinary human.

After the first Chaos invasion was repelled, the Lustrian rainforest has become a dangerous and forbidden place.

From time to time, demons break through the barrier that protects the world and come to Lustria, continuing the eternal war.

Some ignorant new species also began to covet the gold in the rainforest, not to mention the hatred of the evil creatures towards the Lizardmen.

Lizardmen are destined to live in war since their birth. Most of them cannot live for more than a few years, even though they are theoretically immortal.

The lizardmen that survive the fight will gain tougher scales and stronger physiques over time.

Each scarred veteran has seen hundreds, even thousands of years of battle.

Without external help, Lynch really didn't know how many years he could live.

Maybe he will be sent to the front line to fight against demons and die in the eternal holy war.

Maybe he encountered a ratman while patrolling in the forest, and survived a fight, but then met a dark elf who was looking for treasure...

This is a nightmare start for Lynch!

The chattering skin lizards distributed spears and shields to the lizardmen. Lynch's sad face made the skin lizards who were distributing weapons to him confused.

It had never seen a lizardman with such a strange posture! As cold-blooded warriors, they rarely have other emotions besides bloodthirstiness! Lin Qi noticed the gaze of the skin lizard, and his face instantly turned into the expressionless face of an ordinary lizardman.

He was not sure whether he would attract Shi Lan's attention after being discovered.

This kind of time travel may not be able to be hidden from those powerful wizards who can move mountains and seas.

What if he was mistaken for a spy of the evil god Tzeentch? The skin lizard looked around for a while, then jumped away to do other things.

Lynch heaved a sigh of relief in his heart, and silently and instinctively formed a battle formation with his compatriots. This was the combat experience that the ancient saints had written into the Lizardmen's genes.

While adjusting his body, Lynch followed the lizardmen up the stone steps, out of the pyramid and to the wide square on the ground.

During this process, Lynch vaguely saw several data streams in front of him.

They read in the Lizardman script:

[Current potential development degree: 10]

[Strengthening transformation not selected]

Lynch focused his attention on the text, and information related to enhanced transformation flooded into his mind.

Scale armor enhancement, magic rune engraving, color change ability transformation, supernatural recovery ability...

A series of transformation and enhancements made Lin Qi envious, but when he selected "Supernatural Recovery Enhancement", a line of cold words appeared:

[Not seriously damaged, unable to be remodeled]

Lynch selected them one by one, but they all gave the same prompt.

Do you have to be badly hurt to reform? Does this mean you have to fight to the death to improve yourself?

Does it count as giving yourself a spear?

Lynch was eager to try it, but was afraid that he might not be able to control the strength and end up killing himself.

A skin lizard riding a triceratops and wearing a feather crown stopped Lynch and other lizardmen.

"Lord Vol Kerr has issued an order! Go to the rain forest in the east and kill those elf cubs who have crossed the line!"

Amidst sharp shouts, Lynch followed his brothers along the avenue and walked out of the temple city.

At least four-fifths of Lustria is covered in dense jungle, with a multi-layered canopy that obscures even the lower mountains.

The lizardmen walked silently on the moss, and from time to time, lizard hunters wandered through the vines hanging on the ground.

Lynch held the shield and spear. He always felt that there was a dark elf crossbowman hiding behind the tall mushrooms in front of him.

But this is obviously impossible. After all, this place is not far away from the Temple City and is still under the control of the Lizardmen.
