Chapter 235 Travel

Chapter 235: Travel

The dwarves did not have any leisure time even without the Swordmaster of Hoeth who quarreled with Sorian every day.

Whenever he was exposed to the sight of passing Asur, he always had the illusion of hearing vague ridicule and contempt.

Eugen and Sorian became brothers in distress, and their experiences in Lothern made them close friends in a short period of time.

Unfair treatment catalyzes friendship.

After the ceremony, within just a few days, the Cold-blooded Embassy welcomed nearly a thousand visitors. Most of them stopped at the door. The few elven scholars who were lucky enough to enter the courtyard made the dwarves and humans suffer enough implicit insults.

Eugen is often considered an uncivilized monkey, a savage primitive, but he does not arouse any overt hostility from the Asur.

Sorian was subject to more restrictions than humans, and when he tried to find a tavern to replenish his liquor, an elven patrol almost drove him out of Lothern.

Fortunately, before Longbeard took out his axe and swore an oath, the elven nobles who were familiar with the number and race of the Lizardmen followers stopped it.

Of course, Sorian didn't know that he was being treated as a servant, otherwise he would have decisively taken the butcher's oath.

Peaceful Lothern is not a good place for Lynch. If he needs to enjoy peace and quiet, he can just find a temple city, join the temple guard, and stand guard in the same place for decades.

But he was not here to relax, the important business had been completed and it was time for him to set off.

Lynch took the initiative to step out of the embassy for the first time. Under the elves' awed and curious gaze, he found a familiar smell among the countless scents in the air.

Obviously, there are some not-so-good things in the elves' sight of Lynch. The elves do not like things that are less beautiful and perfect than them. It's just that the mystery of the cold-blooded people and the legends of the ancient saints add a special color to Lynch.

The mysterious speech and unusual behavior of the lizardmen are enough to make the unworldly civilians put aside their prejudices.

Lynch didn't care about the discrimination he suffered because of his appearance. In fact, he didn't care at all what ordinary elves thought of him.

Relying on his hunting instinct, Lynch vaguely discovered several Druzy and Esley spies hiding in Lothern.

Of course, he had no intention of interfering in other people's business. He would just mention it briefly later. Asur had his own solution.

More importantly, looking for them would take up a lot of Lynch's energy and might even cause misunderstandings.

Asur is not a cold-blooded person. Directly executing a person of status because of personal conviction will directly lead to a series of uncontrollable reactions.

If a spirit lizard appears in the temple city that affects the order of the city, Lynch can kill it at will without worrying about what kind of official it is.

Because in a cold-blooded society, lizardmen will not make mistakes. Thoros' actions must have been authorized by a Slann or Skink Priest, and Skink Priests or Prophets often represent the Slann.

Although Lynch did not represent any Slan at all, the Spirit Lizards did not know this, and the Slan also acquiesced to his existence.

Elves seem to like tower-like buildings, and tall towers with spires or domes stand all over the city.

Seeing Lynch walking on the road, some elves who were observing secretly hurried away, probably to inform some nobles.

Sure enough, it didn't take long before some elves in luxurious clothes walked out of the streets quickly, but even faster than them were the maids of the Everqueen.

The maid simply followed Lynch and became an invisible barrier, and any noble who wanted to talk to him lost their courage.

The warriors of Asur were more direct. After the battle, the Tritons did not go directly to guard the Lothern Sea Gate. Instead, they recuperated at home.

From time to time, Tritons who had taken off their armor and weapons would greet Lynch. With his excellent memory, Lynch recognized the soldiers who were attacking the Nagarond army on the Tower of the Blessed Evil, and nodded slightly in acknowledgement.

Some female elves carried wicker baskets and wandered hesitantly in the crowd. They wanted to thank the cold-blooded champion for helping their husbands, sons or fathers, but the many nobles they were familiar with at the forefront of the crowd made the common people's thanks too pale.

No elf wanted to lose face in public, even though the gifts in the wicker basket were luxurious enough for them.

But this gift would only expose the weakness and powerlessness of their family. Elves would always try their best to avoid this state and hide their own shortcomings, which made the high elves always "perfect".

Almost all the residents of Lothern knew about the unexpected assistance from the cold-blooded. The nobles were thinking about the opportunities they could take advantage of, while the lower-class elves were more pure.

Many more elves should have died in that war.

Even in families that have lost their male offspring, there are only a few resentful people who are secretly sulking.

Although there were many Asuls joining in the fun, the order of the streets remained intact.

There was no chaos. Many elves just glanced from afar and left in a reserved manner.

Being the center of attention is not a good experience. Elves have a unique charm and they can easily arouse the anger of other races.

If Lynch were replaced by a dwarf, even if no offensive behavior occurred, he would be angered by the unique prejudice in the elf's eyes.

Fortunately, the cold-blooded species are not interested in this meaningless behavior.

The ancient saints transformed the original primates on the planet into today's high elves who look like humans. The arrogance and ego of the elves were the defects of the ancient saints when they created them.

Can Lynch still blame the ancient saints whose status is unclear? In the final analysis, all the works of the ancient saints are failures and need to be improved.

Even the last ogre created, the so-called best work of the Ancient Ones.

The ogres had not received proper guidance, and their actions now were enough to prove the failure of the Ancient Ones' final creation.

No matter how failed these creations were, it was better than letting them remain in their primitive state - running and jumping apes.

On a planet with dragons and giants, they do not have hundreds of thousands of years to evolve, and their destruction depends on a single thought of the "Giant God".

Lynch could accept an elf who smiled without saying anything more than a group of monkeys pointing at him.

Facing all kinds of gazes, Lynch found Tigris's residence.

Out of politeness, Lynch stood for a while until a female elf wizard left the house with a calm expression.

The wizard, breathing rapidly, walked out in a panic. Lynch's familiar, cold tone made him feel less hot.

"I heard elves praising Slannis on the way."

"And Kane and Queen Ariel."

Of course, Teclis knew that Ariel was the human incarnation of the elven mother goddess Isha, and that she ruled the wood elves in the Forest of Athel Loren together with the human incarnation of the "hunter god" Kunos.

But what he cared about more was "Slanith", also known as "Slaanesh".
