Chapter 35: The Plague of Nurgle

Chapter 35: The Plague of Nurgle

"Never! I would rather die in the struggle as a guardian."

Lynch hates wanton indulgence and the state of unrestrained chaos.

From being a law-abiding and courageous citizen to being a member of the Guardians of the World today.

Lynch is self-centered, but he is also unwilling to be absolutely self-centered.

The dark gods of chaos were so wanton that slaughter trumped honor and lust trumped love.

Slaanesh is also the god of love and fidelity, but who would ask him to witness a wedding now? Unless it was a grotesque act of adultery.

Anyone who throws himself into the arms of the devil will always be a little extreme.

Lynch no longer paid attention to the demon's persuasion. He seemed worried about his fellow countryman, but he just wanted his fellow countryman to "take refuge" in the Garden of Nurgle.

Once you accept the gift of the Plague Lord, you can no longer regret it. Your body and mind will gradually change! The dull voice finally said anxiously: "You are trying to stop a chariot with a mantis arm! The civil war of the elves is unstoppable, the sunset of the dwarf kingdoms has already begun, and the greenskins are igniting wars everywhere on the earth. Humans will never unite for one will!

What can you use to resist the end? The self-satisfied lizardmen? The endless tide of rats will be able to drown the limited number of your cold-blooded fellows!"

"Do you think other races will understand your perseverance in the jungle? Do you think you have a chance to unite the Mortal Realm? They will only plunder you for gold!"

"Don't be silly, my dear compatriot! I am waiting for your arrival at any time. There is always a place for you in the garden!"

Lynch was so angry that he even swung his staff harder to knock away the attacking skeletons.

Would a fallen one dare to try to waver from his steadfastness? Would he shrink from death? Never! Never into darkness.

If you want to defeat the great guardian of the mortal world, you must step over his corpse! At worst, you can build a mountain of corpses with the corpses of demons and die in battle in front of the steps of the Pyramid of Ichi, the original city.

As if seeing Lynch's vigorous rage, a huge, slug-like Nurgle beast slowly crawled out from the depths of the fog.

A pair of webbed paws with sharp claws left messy marks in the mud, and the rows of fangs in the huge mouth were shouting with joy, as if they couldn't wait to hug the cold-blooded creatures.

Wherever the Nurgle beast swam, it left a trail of foul-smelling sticky water, and dirty tears fell from its swollen eyes from time to time.

The tentacles that spread from his head to the back of his brain made Lynch nauseous. They were tubes filled with flies and dirt.

This passionate creation of Nurgle rushed over impatiently. Lynch charged quickly and beheaded it just before making contact.

The filth from its tentacles splashed into the swamp, but this attack, which was lethal to mortals, did not seem to be able to kill the Nurgle beast.

The wounds of the Nurgle beast were sizzling from the burning sunlight, and flesh and blood with a foul and burnt smell was still growing out rapidly.

It subconsciously pounced on Lynch, but Lynch rolled sideways and avoided the disgusting approach.

The arc of light from the scepter completely put an end to the demon, but this seemed to be just the beginning.

The buzzing of flies was annoying, heavy footsteps were heard everywhere, and a large group of flies were approaching the cold-blooded species.

Out of the fog emerged swollen, yellow-green carriers of the disease, surrounded by countless flies.

These plague apostles have different appearances, but what they have in common are the occasional pustules on their fat bodies and the big mouths with sharp teeth.

The horns on its head and back were like the legs of an insect, and its single eye, which was constantly oozing pus and filled with blood, stared at the cold-blooded creatures.

Lynch ordered the lizardmen to gather and break out in the direction of the black castle.

The eleven cold-blooded creatures rushed towards the slow-moving Plague Carriers. Each lizardman could easily pierce the Plague Carriers' bodies with their spears and throw them at other demons with brute force.

These common soldiers of Nurgle's host are as resilient as their masters.

The cold-blooded creature took advantage of the moment when the demon was knocked down by his companions and quickly crossed this section of the road.

Except for the demons purified by Lynch, the wounds on the other demons disappeared after they slowly climbed up.

The disease entered the soldiers' bodies through the air, but fortunately the Scarred's immune system was strong enough.

Lynch acted as the spearhead, constantly repelling the demons that blocked his way and clearing the way for his kind behind him.

The lizardman behind Lynch used brute force to push away the carriers of the plague attacking from both sides.

The demon's terrifying power and the lizardman's brutal strength collided with each other, and the demon's sword and the lizardman's spear continued to clash.

While Plaguebearers are powerful, they are still slightly inferior to Saurus, and their fighting skills are next to nothing.

If the demon's terrifying rebirth ability had not been too difficult to deal with, the lizardmen would have already broken through the obstacles.

Howls rang out from deeper into the fog, and dozens of abandoned ones, like mad dogs, quickly shuttled through the gaps between the carriers of the plague and approached the battlefield.

These decaying humanoids were once powerful warriors of Chaos, but a horrible transformation changed them.

The Forsaken quickly approached the Lizard Man, paying no attention to the spear that the Lizard Man was stabbing at him, and used his mutated limbs to grab the Lizard Man hard, trying to tear him into pieces.

The hard scales of the Thor stopped their foolish actions.

Perhaps the tender scales of the newly hatched recruits could not withstand the powerful bites of the Abandoned, but almost all of those present were veterans, and the young Lynch also had thick, strengthened scales.

The lizardmen used their sharp claws to tear these former warriors apart.

During the fight, invisible diseases spread in the warriors' bodies, and the cold-blooded race fought quickly and decisively.

Lynch waved the Light of Kotego and led the lizardmen through the muddy swamp, avoiding the strange trees that were ready to move, and into a shallow water area.

The woodlands leading to the Black Castle were filled with demons. Lynch dismembered the Nurgle beasts that mingled among the carriers of the plague, and ichor dripped into the already murky waters.

What made Lynch afraid was that there were dozens of Nurgle beasts like pet dogs rushing towards him excitedly, and the cold-blooded creature didn't want to accept their embrace.

Killing them will allow more disease to flow into the air, and not killing them will allow the beasts of Nurgle to hold them in their arms and lick and caress them.

Any hesitation would lead to a tragic and unbearable ending.

The cold-blooded creature struggled to push away the cordial hospitality of the Nurgle demons and strived to move towards his goal.

Fortunately, the Lizardmen will not waver. For mortals, fighting against such filthy creatures, even just getting close to them would require a difficult mental struggle.

Loud frog croaking sounded from deeper in the swamp. Lynch's nerves were tense, and he looked at the elephant-like toad in the distance with some self-abandonment.

The sharp horns on the toad's head proved that it was a creation of Nurgle, a plague toad! Lynch would rather face ten bloodthirsty demons than these ten juicy Nurgle plague toads!

The plague toad exploded with pieces of rancid juice as it jumped. Tumors and pustules were the best armor. It almost made it impossible for Lynch to start! Please read on (End of this chapter)
