Chapter 95 The Origin of the Wood Elves

Chapter 95: The Origin of the Wood Elves

Perhaps it was because the Supreme Mage was quite famous, or perhaps he was afraid of the strength of the Lizardmen.

The champions were merely confronting each other, but with just one signal, they were able to hack each other to death.

The dwarves puffed their beards at the Wood Elves provocatively. There were many records about the Wood Elves in their Book of Hatred that had not yet been erased.

Esley fought back, but the human was also angered by the arrogant elf.

Lynch knew about their festival, but he neither respected nor understood it.

The core of what divides them has ancient roots.

It is said that the Old One himself planted the seeds of the Oak of Ages.

Perhaps some kind of biological experiment was underway?

All in all, this sacred tree of the Wood Elves is as old as the Lizardmen's empire.

The ancient creatures whose roots could cover the planet gave birth to many followers, and it now had more short companions.

Thus was born the Forest of Athel Loren.

It is filled with primitive magic, perhaps it was the design of the ancient saints, or it could be the intervention of the meddling elven gods.

The trees of Athel Loren became conscious and gained the ability to act.

The forest spirits possess all the supernatural powers of the forest. Following the roots of the Oak of Time, they eventually meet the elves.

Two races, curious about each other, had a friendly but unnecessary exchange.

For Lynch to say, they should evolve as planned, rather than being influenced by each other.

The isolation measures of the ancient saints failed, but these civilization observers obviously had no intention of intervening.

Lynch respects their ideas, but it is obvious that a strong iron fist is more conducive to civilization, at least it is more suitable for this world that is watched by the dark gods.

Order cannot be excessive, but it cannot be too loose either.

As these two restless races came to terms with each other, the star gates at both poles collapsed, and the first great Chaos Invasion began.

The coldbloods were unable to resist the endless stream of higher-level demon legions, and at first they were able to gain the upper hand with the help of Slan's powerful magic.

When the Changer appears on the battlefield, magic becomes a scourge.

One by one, the magic toads died from the backlash of spells, and the ancient saint's forbidden engine was unlocked as a last resort.

The corpses of the powerful first generation warriors covered the land, the brutal battles disrupted the carefully reshaped mountains and rivers, and the violent climate tore apart the continental greenhouse cultivated by the ancient saints.

Cities fell, legions were defeated, and the war spread from the two poles to the globe.

The young races that were blocked behind them were exposed to the demons' sight.

Ulthuan bore the brunt of the attack, as the demons finally burned the dream forests of Avalon and destroyed the spreading roots of the Oak of Ages.

Yet Athel Loren was never invaded, for the demons sensed a resemblance between the spirits of the forest and themselves and carefully avoided them.

The relationship between the forest spirits and the elves became closer in the battle. On the day when the demons broke into the capital, the Eternal Queen of the elves found a tree man named Durthu.

She begged the elders to take her child away, but nature took its toll.

One day, Athel Loren will take away a group of elves to serve as eternal gardeners.

Lynch disdains the tree people's hypocrisy, although interests are indeed the chain that maintains communication.

They are always like this, refusing to look into the distant future and sacrificing greater things for the sake of immediate interests.

But they were successful, after all, there were many elves fighting for them.

After the Cataclysm, the High Elves left Ulthuan and established colonies around the world.

The messengers who entered the jungle were frightened and driven mad, and the young cubs no longer attempted to offend the master of Lustria.

However, respecting the older races does not mean that they will care about the newcomers! So they provoked the Mountain Kingdom.

Because of the issue of succession to the throne, Asur was divided internally, and the separated Druzi provoked a war between Asur and the dwarves.

Lynch was not surprised at all. They always liked to fight each other and were unwilling to pay attention to more critical enemies. Instead, they were good at killing each other.

After a long war, both sides had exhausted their resources.

The Dwarf High King killed the Phoenix King of the Elves. The mountains could not withstand further fighting. Ulthuan was attacked by Druzil, and Asur was unable to fight anymore.

They negotiated a peace, and the protracted battle was only to exhaust each other's manpower and give Chaos the opportunity to take root on the planet.

No one benefited except the dark gods and the forest spirits.

Asul abandons all of his Old World colonies, but many of the colonists refuse to return home.

They did nothing wrong, but they paid the price for the mistakes of their relatives in their hometown.

It was they who reclaimed the wasteland, and the battlefield between the two tribes took place in the colony they established. After their defeat, they only received a decree.

Eventually, under the secret guidance of Durthu, this part of the Asur came to the forest and paid the debt owed by the Everqueen.

They called themselves Eslay and refused to acknowledge any blood relationship.

If it were just that, Lynch would not pay attention to or care about the turmoil within the elves.

But the Esley were too good at making enemies, and they dared to massacre an entire village for a few branches.

Lynch tried to intimidate the cubs, but the increasingly strong unclean smell made him alert.

No one noticed that a nimble figure was moving in and out of everyone's eyes.

Everyone's emotions were amplified by an invisible force, and the precarious peace was torn apart maliciously.

The invisible force made promises to the champions and whispered unknown secrets in their ears.

Admiration, honor, self-satisfaction are readily available, and the close people you long to see.

Mortals are slaves to their desires. Who doesn't want to do whatever they want? Who doesn't want to dominate everything? Teclis no longer tries to deal with it, because he can't save himself.

The jealousy and resentment buried in the past were dug up. Even though he has achieved success now, who dares to face the cowardly filth in his heart when he was at his most humble?

Everything defends itself, using false words and anger to cover up its ugly self.

The elves became more arrogant and could no longer restrain their hostility.

Human beings' prejudice against other races is also becoming more and more serious.

At first it was just a musketeer's accidental discharge, and the next moment, he was pierced through the body by three arrows.

The enraged knight charged at the ranger, and the Bretonnians and dwarves came to his aid.

Teclis called down the wind of light, which immediately froze everyone.

But his magic can't last forever, and champions all have ways to resist magic.

More importantly, there is a terrifying demon affecting his mind.

Compared with the tense competition among the champions, Lynch cares more about the gradually changing environment.

The vast vegetation of Lustria had disappeared, and the sun no longer looked like a sun, but more like some kind of reflective polyhedron.

Like a painter's casually dropped paintbrush, the sunlight fell on the ground with bright colors, but did not illuminate the breasts grown by the trees.

Like tumors, they spread across the forest, but the young races were unaware of them.

The environment changed again, and Lynch didn't know which space it would overlap with this time.
