Chapter 13 Extraordinary Power (Please read!)

Chapter 13 Extraordinary Power (Please read!)

The three jungle natives were very combat-minded. Holding axes in their hands, they worked together to approach Lucius, staring closely at the well-crafted blade in the man's hand.

Lucius lowered his head, very lazily, and said with disdain:

"You jungle dogs, do you understand the language of our Syat people?"

"How about telling me some information about the Blood Cult? From what I know, your people are spread all over the East Coast, numbering in the tens of thousands, but they are scattered and have never been unified."

He tried to communicate but no one answered. There was only burning and urgent hatred in the eyes of the three jungle natives.

"Hey, if you don't want to communicate, forget it."

As soon as he finished speaking, Lucius' body suddenly rushed out. Although he was wearing a steel breastplate, his movement speed was incredibly fast.

He always prefers to launch attacks directly during the "dialogue stage".

Thrust, a simple yet very practical move.

Lucius' physical fitness was beyond the reach of ordinary people. The three jungle natives saw in a flash that one of them had been pierced through the chest by a long sword.

“Aaaaaaaaah!”

The other two jungle natives reacted, raised their axes in extreme anger, and rushed towards Lucius almost simultaneously.

Lucius suddenly drew out the blood-stained sword, exerted force with his legs, and jumped several meters away, avoiding the double attack very easily.

The two jungle natives were stunned for a moment, feeling as if they were playing hide-and-seek with a nimble black cat, and then they felt fear surging.

Could that man be a transcendent?

"ha!"

Lucius rushed forward again and swung his sword. The huge force and the sharp blade smashed the cervical vertebra violently, and the head of a jungle native flew backwards.

The last jungle native turned around and tried to run, but the sword broke his thigh bone. He fell to the ground wailing and rolled over and struggled.

The entire battle lasted less than ten seconds. Lucius couldn't help but smile and sighed, "If it was half a year ago, it would have been a really fierce battle."

His five senses, strength, speed, reaction, flexibility, and even weapons and equipment have been improved in all aspects, and he is no longer the same as before.

He ended the battle easily without even using the power of the protective rune.

at the same time.

Carl's consciousness silently observed everything. He possessed Lucius's body, wanting to know more about what the only adult male in the Fisher family would do next.

Lucius appears to be harmless, and many people even think he is a nice person, but in fact he is a cruel and ruthless man.

"Hey, don't try to run away. I still have a lot of things I want to ask you."

Lucius squatted beside the jungle natives who were wailing in pain, smiling, his tone filled with the most primitive malice.

The atmosphere around them seemed cold and frozen. The jungle natives trembled all over, suddenly realizing that the man in front of them had evil blood flowing in his veins!

He had a devilish smile on his face!

In the impoverished East City District of Nasir Town, a young liquor dealer in a shanty wooden house squatted at home, waiting for news, frowning and pacing continuously.

Last week the jungle natives suddenly approached him, hoping to provide information about the Fisher family.

The wine dealer rejected the jungle natives without hesitation on the spot, and even threatened angrily to find the patrol team in the town of Nasir. During the six months of getting along, Lucius had always been generous and caring towards him, and even helped him deal with two harassments from the thieves' gang.

He couldn't just betray like that.

Unfortunately, the jungle natives added more chips to their promises and fiercely produced their weapons.

The wine dealer finally realized that he could not refuse. Originally, he only wanted to provide some information about the Fisher family without involving too much of the affairs of both parties.

However, he was surprised to learn that as long as he tricked Lucius into coming to a designated location in the port, he would be rewarded with a gold coin!

He paced back and forth, muttering to himself, "The deposit, now all I have is the deposit of five silver coins, my gold coins, my gold coins!"

"Your gold coins?"

The young wine dealer suddenly heard a familiar voice, and he felt as if he had fallen into an icy cave. He wanted to escape but his hands and feet were too weak.

"What's wrong with you? Don't be afraid. We are friends after all."

Lucius suddenly appeared with a smile, grabbed him and dragged him out of the house as if he was a small animal.

The young liquor dealer was about to shout for help when he suddenly heard vicious threats.

"Don't shout, or you and your brother will be dead!"

The neighbors around saw the old mercenary wearing armor and holding a sword, and they all walked away. No one came to help.

With no way to escape, the young wine dealer was taken away limply by Lucius.

"Tell me, what's going on? If what you say doesn't match what he says, then you will die too."

In a hidden alley, the young wine dealer saw the body of a jungle native who had been tortured and killed, and his blood vessels almost froze instantly.

He shouted in extreme fear, "I will tell you everything! Can you let me go after I finish? Please let me go! I have a younger brother at home!"

Lucius nodded calmly, took a deep breath, and said solemnly without hesitation: "Of course, I will let you go, because deep in my heart I still consider you a friend!"

"I never break a promise, don't worry!"

The young wine dealer was silent for a long while, then he confessed everything with tears in his eyes, and sincerely regretted what he had done.

The more Lucius listened, the more he frowned. The jungle natives had almost identified the person responsible for the incident, and they seemed to know a lot about the Fisher family's current situation.

According to the jungle native who was tortured, it seemed that several priests who were in conflict within the Blood Cult had reached an agreement that whoever could avenge the Fisher family would get the territory and resources of the old priest.

The Fisher family was completely targeted, which was undoubtedly a very terrible fact.

The young wine dealer relaxed a little and smiled reluctantly, "I've said everything. Lucius, please let me go. I have a younger brother at home. I will definitely make it up to you in a few days."

"OK."

The moment the young wine dealer smiled, Lucius nodded expressionlessly and quickly swung his sword at his head. Bright red blood and white brain matter immediately splashed onto the surrounding walls.

Traitors are even more hateful than enemies, and they must be killed. If the wine dealer is not killed and the news gets out, anyone will dare to betray members of the Fisher family in the future!

After looting and dealing with the bodies, Lucius, with an uncertain expression, immediately went to the young wine dealer's house and sat in a chair in silence.

It was not until dusk that the wine merchant's brother returned home with a bunch of wild fruits. The boy looked ordinary and was only a few years older than Lucius' son.

"Who are you?"

The young boy who had just returned from picking wild fruits was stunned. The man waiting silently at home was not his brother, but a stranger he had never met.

Lucius sat in the chair in the shadows very calmly, with no expression on his angular face.

Someone saw him taking the wine dealer away from here, and Lucius knew that the seeds of hatred had been planted, and he had to be wary even of people who seemed harmless.

Even a supernatural being can die from the conspiracy of mortals. He knew how to break the so-called chain of hatred in advance, so he showed a trustworthy smile.

"Your brother is looking for you. He has too much cargo to move, so he asked me to take you over to help him."

The boy was skeptical, but nodded anyway.

"Yeah, okay."

Lucius took the boy away from the house, and neither of them ever returned.

As night fell, the noisy voices of sailors could be heard in the taverns of the town of Nasir.

The patrol team in the town of Nasir is led by the local sheriff, who is a member of the Baron Hoven family and is responsible for maintaining the most basic law and order in the town.

After dealing with the corpse, Lucius immediately went to the town hall of Nasir Town, found the patrol team members' department, smiled, took out a silver coin from his pocket and handed it to the patrol team members.

"Hey, everyone, thank you for your hard work. I'm Lucius from the Fisher family. I got some fine wine from the wine merchant and wanted to share it with the sheriff."

He was not afraid of the news spreading. Killing people who colluded with the cult group was in line with the laws of the Kingdom of Syat and the major orthodox churches. However, Lucius knew very well that even if it was legal and reasonable, proper arrangements were still necessary.

Several people on patrol looked at him in confusion. The man's smiling face was still stained with blood.

"Everyone, don't be so serious."

The leading patrol member nodded, swallowed his saliva, reached out and shook Lucius's hand holding the silver coin, and smiled:

"Mr. Lucius, the sheriff will definitely be interested in the fine wine you mentioned."
