Chapter Thirty
Saturday was a beautiful, sunny day.
But on this day, the lives of several people changed forever.
In the evening, Lu Nan and Cheng Xiangbei parted ways in front of the cafeteria. Cheng Xiangbei went to a meeting at the department, while Lu Nan went home alone.
"Nannan, text me when you get home," Cheng Xiangbei reminded her anxiously.
"It's only a few minutes' walk, how could I possibly get lost?" Lu Nan squeezed his hand and said with a grin, "Go to the meeting, I'm so full, I'll take a stroll first."
"Little pig! Let me see if I'm fat enough?" Cheng Xiangbei chuckled mischievously as he touched the pig's belly.
"Hey, where are you touching?" Lu Nan glared at him; that thieving hand was actually moving lower and lower. "In broad daylight, you dare to be a pervert towards me!"
"How can it be broad daylight!" Cheng pointed north to the darkening sky. "A dark and windy night is the perfect opportunity to harass the men!"
"You lecherous tiger!" Lu Nan nudged him with her elbow. "Stop fooling around, you're going to be late!"
"Nannan, will you come to the meeting with me?" she pleaded pitifully.
"No way! My heart aches just looking at the counselor's resentful face." Lu Nan nudged him. "Go and come back quickly, sweetie!"
“Nan Nan…” Cheng Xiangbei held his hand, feeling a little reluctant to part for some reason.
"Go ahead, go ahead!"
"Why don't you come with me, or I can take you back first?" My heart was pounding, and I suddenly had a bad feeling.
"Are you ever going to stop? You have to take so many people home!" Lu Nan said unhappily. "I'm leaving now, the cartoon has already started."
"Alright, be careful on your way!" Cheng Xiangbei stood still and watched him walk away.
Lu Nan waved to him with her back turned and gradually disappeared into the crowd. Cheng Xiangbei stood there clutching his chest for a while until his heartbeat gradually calmed down before walking into the teaching building.
"Lu Nan!"
"Huh?" Walking down the street, Lu Nan heard someone call her name. Turning around, she saw Chu Lian standing by the roadside. Lu Nan stopped and frowned. "You called me?"
"Of course I called you." Chu Lian nodded haughtily, her palms sweating. "Where...where's Xiang Bei?"
"The department is having a meeting!" Lu Nan looked at her strangely. "You need to go to the school to find him."
Chu Lian smiled awkwardly and stood still by the roadside.
"Is there anything else?"
Chu Lian shook her head.
"If it's nothing, I'll be going then." Lu Nan found the other person's behavior strange, but she didn't ask any questions. Because of past unpleasantness, Lu Nan would never say another word to Chu Lian.
He had only taken a few steps forward when a van suddenly pulled up next to him.
"Huh?" Lu Nan was about to turn his head to look. But before he could turn his head, a handkerchief was covered to his mouth and nose. "Ugh!!..." He struggled to make a sound, but the other person didn't give him any chance, picked him up and put him in the car.
It happened suddenly, in just a few seconds. Only after the van disappeared did passersby realize what had happened. "Hey! Someone's been kidnapped!"
There were two or three kittens on the road, and everyone looked at each other in surprise. Chu Lian was still in shock and turned to leave.
"Hey there!" someone called out, "Was that person your friend?"
"No!" Chu Lian answered in a panic, almost running away.
"Stop!" Liu Fei rode up on his bicycle from a distance, rushing forward with all his might! "Who was just kidnapped?!"
"Huh? It's a boy wearing black-rimmed glasses!" someone provided a clue.
"Yes, he even spoke to that beautiful woman!" someone said, pointing at Chu Lian's back.
"Chu Lian, stop right there!" Liu Fei rode his bike over to stop Chu Lian, but she hurriedly jumped into a taxi and drove off.
"Damn it!" Liu Fei, who was usually honest, finally cursed. The car that had tied up Lu Nan had already driven far away, and no matter how hard he rode, he couldn't catch up with the tail of the car.
"Classmate..." Just as he was rushing back to school to report the news, someone called out to him.
"What is it?!" he said fiercely.
"I...I remembered his license plate number..."
"Brother! Thank you! Thank you!" After noting down the license plate number the other person provided, Liu Fei excitedly hugged and kissed him. "I'll treat you to a meal sometime. Goodbye!"
"Boss, something bad has happened!" Liu Fei burst into the conference room, sweating profusely.
"What's wrong?" Cheng Xiangbei stood up abruptly.
"You all go out first!" the counselor said unhappily.
Cheng Xiangbei glared at the counselor, then leaped out. "What's wrong, Afei?"
"Lu Nan! Lu Nan has been kidnapped!" Liu Fei's eyes turned red with anxiety.
"How could this happen?!" Cheng Xiangbei swayed, reaching out to steady himself against the wall. "What on earth happened?!"
"On my way to tutoring, just as I was getting close to your neighborhood, a van kidnapped me!"
"Are you sure it was kidnapped?" Cheng Xiangbei's heart pounded, and he suddenly realized he was a little unsteady on his feet.
"Yes, I saw Lu Nan struggling!" Liu Fei said urgently, "By the way, Chu Lian was there too!"
"Damn it! That bitch!" Cheng Xiangbei hurriedly dialed Lu Nan's cell phone, but it was already switched off. He then dialed the home phone, but no one answered. He took a deep breath, trying to steady his racing heart. "Afei, here's the house key. You know the front door. Go inside and check if anyone's home. Leave it there, understand?"
Liu Fei nodded. "Boss, we need to save Lu Nan right away!"
"I understand, go quickly!"
"Yes!" Liu Fei took the keys and ran off.
Cheng Xiangbei immediately summoned Li Weide and Luo Ming. "Lu Nan has been kidnapped! I'm calling the police!"
"Boss, you can't report a missing person to the police until 24 hours have passed, and they need evidence!" Li Weide reminded him.
"What should we do?!"
"Shall we go find Chu Lian?" Luo Ming suggested.
“That’s one way, but we can’t prove that Chu Lian and Lu Nan were kidnapped yet.”
"At a time like this, having a clue is better than having none!"
Several people rushed to Chu Lian's dormitory, only to be told that Chu Lian hadn't returned for two days. They tried calling Chu Lian's cell phone, but it was switched off. Cheng Xiangbei took a deep breath and went to find Chu Lian's cousin, Meng Tianze, but Meng Tianze's phone went unanswered!
What's going on? Why have all the people who have had conflicts with Lu Nan disappeared at this crucial moment?! Cheng Xiangbei was extremely anxious, but calling the police wouldn't help now. He had to hurry! Otherwise, who knows what kind of danger Lu Nan would encounter!
He sent Li Weide and Luo Ming to intercept Meng Tianze and Chu Lian, while he ran back to the garage to get his car. He couldn't just sit and wait to die; Lu Nan was still waiting for him! As he ran back, he searched for phone numbers on his phone.
He stopped abruptly when he came across a name. He wouldn't contact this person unless absolutely necessary, but now… He gritted his teeth, deciding to disregard everything else. Even if it meant incurring a huge debt of gratitude, he had to get this savior!
While Cheng Xiangbei was frantically searching for someone, Lu Nan had already been secretly sent to "Yayuan".
The room was rustic, furnished with a table and a couch, everything exuding an antique charm. Long Jiu Mo sat under a classic palace lantern, a slight smile on his face as he looked at the unconscious Lu Nan. "In the end, she's finally fallen into our hands."
Yu Mufeng kicked Lu Nan. "Hmph!"
"Xiao Feng, Xiao Feng, is it really necessary to hate him so much?" Long Jiu Mo casually tossed a glass of ice water onto Lu Nan's face.
Yu Mufeng watched his actions and smiled coldly. "Ninth Brother, you're not exactly known for your chivalry!"
"Tenderness and pity for women? That's just a trick Cheng Xiangbei plays!"
"Hmm..." A groan came from the bed, and Lu Nan slowly opened his eyes. The surroundings were completely unfamiliar, and it took him a long time to make out the beams on the roof. Where was he? He had just been talking to Chu Lian by the roadside.
"Awake?" Long Jiu Mo sneered.
“You…” Lu Nan shook his head, the water droplets clinging to his eyelashes making him very uncomfortable.
"What, don't you recognize me?"
"Long Jiu?!" Lu Nan exclaimed in shock. He tried to raise his arms, but was horrified to find that his wrists and ankles were tightly bound! "What do you want to do?! What right do you have to tie me up?!"
Long Jiu Mo shrugged, looking down at him, and said, "I can do whatever I want now, right?"
"That's illegal!"
"Once I take these photos and release them, you won't have the guts to sue me, will you?"
"Taking photos?!" Lu Nan's heart sank. "You... what do you want to do?"
"What are you doing?" Long Jiu Mo smiled smugly. "Doing something that will make Cheng Xiang Bei regret for the rest of his life!"
“What did the tiger do to wrong you!” Lu Nan struggled to say.
"Where did he wrong me?" Long Jiu Mo sneered, "Tell me, where did he ever wrong me? If he hadn't been pulling strings behind my back, would I have been stigmatized as a homosexual until graduation? If it weren't for him, would I be stuck in this wretched place, Haicheng? Do you even know I'm qualified for direct admission to a prestigious university?"
"Don't be so ungrateful! You're doing pretty well now!"
"But I clearly have a better future!"
"You brought this on yourself; it has nothing to do with the tiger!"
"Tiger, tiger! You're only counting on that toothless tiger!" Long Jiu Mo reached out and lifted his chin, saying smugly, "I'll make that tiger kneel on the ground and beg me, just you wait and see!"
"You defeated bastard! Tiger will definitely rescue me! You just wait and see!"
"I don't know if he will save you, but he can't stop me from doing what I'm about to do." Long Jiu Mo took a dagger from the sandalwood table and slowly ran it across Lu Nan's clothes.
"What, what are you going to do?" The cold blade sliced across his body, making Lu Nan shiver.
"What? Scared?" With a flick of the blade, he unbuttoned Lu Nan's clothes one by one.
Under the slow, agonizing torment, Lu Nan's fair chest was gradually revealed. Between her pink nipples, there was a small flower-like mark, which upon closer inspection turned out to be a kiss mark left by sucking.
“It’s beautiful!” Long Jiu Mo smiled. “And it’s very charming.”
“This is…” Yu Mufeng’s eyes reddened with jealousy. “This was made by Xiang Beinong?!”
Lu Nan sneered. "None of your business!"
Yu Mufeng slapped him across the face! "Shameless!"
"Pah!" Lu Nan spat out the bloody liquid from her mouth. "Do you really want this flower planted on you?"
"You!" Yu Mufeng was furious, tearing Lu Nan's clothes off and throwing them to the ground. "I'll show you what it means to be stubborn!"
After saying that, he picked up the phone and dialed a few numbers. "Find me the most skilled dominatrix!"
A dominatrix? A sense of foreboding rose in Lu Nan's heart. "What are you going to do?!"
"What am I going to do?" Yu Mufeng grinned menacingly. "You'll find out soon enough."
