The snow-white walls reflected warm light, and the light-colored curtains fluttered in the gentle afternoon breeze. The soft rustling sounds rang out rhythmically until the person on the hospital bed fully opened their eyes.

"Xia, are you feeling unwell?"

Chi Xia followed the back of her hand and the tubes to the IV drip. "This?"
Xun Jiang checked and found no needle, so he breathed a sigh of relief. He put down the apple and helped Chi Xia sit up, then adjusted the bed so she could sit. "I heard from Xin Ran that you came to visit your students, so I came to find you. I didn't expect you to be asleep in the hospital bed. There have been infected people in the hospital recently. I saw that you had an injury on your wrist, so I gave you some anti-inflammatory injections just in case."
Xun Jiang is in the orthopedics department, which is not in the same building as the biochemistry department. He doesn't know the specifics of the insect people yet, but seeing that Chi Xia is injured and sleeping alone, he is worried and has been keeping watch over her.
