Chapter 170: A graduation banquet is being held!
Everything was back on track. Gu Yin returned home, told the old lady, and went inside.
After closing the door, she entered the system space, opened the chemistry course, and began theoretical learning. After completing one lesson, she used the virtual experimental tools to practice.
She was so busy that she was kicked out of the system before she finally snapped out of her tense experimental state.
"001, can I still stay in the system space for 24 hours?"
001 flew out and shook its head: "No, you can stay for 48 hours now. Your intelligence is improving, your brain area is expanding, and your mental and physical endurance can last longer."
Gu Yin nodded: "No wonder I feel a little dizzy and nauseous now. In the past, I would stay for 24 hours and not feel anything when I came out. It seems that I haven't adjusted yet because it's my first time."

Early in the morning, Gu Yin and Gu Hua got up and, accompanied by their family, first went to the village's local earth god temple to worship. After returning home, they worshipped all the gods in their household. After all the worship was completed, the guests began to arrive one after another.
This graduation banquet was a real grand affair, inviting the entire village, as well as the two students' classmates and teachers from the school. Gu Yin had also notified the students from Class 1 of the first year of junior high school, but she didn't know how many people would come.
People from the village started coming to help yesterday.
The line stretched from the entrance to the bamboo grove behind the mountain, with 10 large pots set up. The chefs, all shirtless, were cooking, while women gathered around the mountain spring pool, washing vegetables and chatting animatedly.
Just like Gu Shu did last time, Gu Yin and Gu Hua sat at the village entrance waiting for guests to arrive. This time, however, Gu Qinglang had secured the large umbrella, so the two of them didn't have to carry it.
The old lady came over with a palm-leaf fan: "I was worried that you wouldn't recognize some of the people coming later, so I came to check on them. Otherwise, I might call them the wrong people and make a fool of myself!"
The first to arrive were all girls from the village who had married out or went to work in the city. Gu Yin and Gu Hua weren't very familiar with these people, so the old lady was the one who greeted them.
Li Mingxuan came with his father. When he saw Gu Yin, he smiled and said, "From now on, you'll be my junior. Add me on WeChat later. If you have any questions, just let me know. We're the only two people from our village at that school, so we should help each other out!"
Gu Yin looked at the bruises under the other person's eyes and said with a troubled expression, "Don't tell me you spent your summer vacation reading books?"
Li Mingxuan shook his head and smiled mysteriously: "You'll know when you get to Jianggao! Sleep as much as you can now!" After saying goodbye to them, he walked into the village.
Reading? Haha, for students at Jianggao High School, being able to sit down quietly and read is a luxury! Because for them, reading is a form of relaxation!
After hearing Li Mingxuan's words, Gu Yin was even more looking forward to life at Jianggao!
At 11 o'clock, Zhao Xiaomin, Song Pengfei, Wang Weiwei, Qin Xueming, and several class committee members from before all arrived.
Seeing them arrive, Gu Yin was happy: "I thought you were too busy to come. Did you come together?"
“Yes! We agreed on a time, how could we not come! How could we miss the most important moment for the top student!” Zhao Xiaomin hugged Gu Yin’s arm and laughed loudly.
Song Pengfei adjusted his glasses and nodded, "We won't miss anyone else's chance to come."
"I left home a day early! Aren't you touched?" Wang Weiwei said proudly, tugging at her backpack.
Gu Yin smiled and straightened the hat on her head: "I'm so touched, so very touched! Come and sit down at my house. I've reserved a table upstairs especially for you. I'll come find you when it's time to eat, and we can chat then! It's so hot here, don't stand there! Just walk straight ahead. My brother is watching at the door. You know him, so let him take you upstairs! Go on."
It was indeed hot that day. After standing for just a short while, they all started to sweat. Upon hearing this, everyone followed Gu Yin's instructions and headed towards the Gu family home.
Just after seeing the person off, Gu Yin saw Qin Heng arrive on a motorcycle. She was surprised, as she was certain that she and Gu Hua had forgotten to invite him, and she didn't know if it was Gu Shu who had invited him.
Qin Heng got out of the car, paid the fare, and then jogged over to them. He greeted the old lady with a smile, then looked at Gu Yin and Gu Hua: "Congratulations! I'm not late, am I?"
"No! The banquet hasn't started yet!" the old lady said with a smile.
Gu Yin shook her head: "You've come all this way, it's really kind of you."
Qin Heng smiled and looked at Gu Yin: "How could that be? I would have come no matter how far! We have more guests, so I won't keep you from entertaining them. I'll go inside and find Gu Shu! You all go ahead and get busy!"
After everyone left, Gu Yin took out her phone and asked Gu Shu a question.
"Did you call Qin Heng? Ah Hua and I both forgot. How embarrassing! Please don't tell him we don't remember him!"
The reply came quickly: "I posted it on my WeChat Moments. He asked me, so I invited him. Don't worry, I won't let it slip."
Seeing this, Gu Yin put down her phone and greeted the school's teachers.
The banquet began after noon. Most of the guests were villagers, so Gu Yin and the others didn't need to entertain them. Gu Yin went to sit with the school teachers for a while, then had Gu Hua and Gu Shu pick her up before going upstairs.
Upstairs, they saw Qin Heng. He seemed quite sociable and was having a great time with Zhao Xiaomin and the others.
Gu Yin grabbed a stool and squeezed next to Zhao Xiaomin and Wang Weiwei, asking with a smile, "What are you talking about? You seem so excited."
Wang Weiwei handed Gu Yin a bowl and chopsticks: "They're talking about interesting things at the No. 1 Middle School!"
