Chapter 935: The Beauty Trap

Chapter 935: The Beauty Trap

Seeing that she remained silent, the driver spoke again: "Aren't you curious?"

"Hmph, you're putting on an act now, but you won't be able to say a word later!"

"Do you know how terrible the consequences can be if a girl is kidnapped?"

Gu Yin opened her eyes, speechless: "Master, have you ever heard a saying?"

"What did you say?"

"Villains die from talking too much, and you're a typical example. Just drive your car; my life is precious, and I don't want to get into a car accident!"

"You! Hmph! You're just being stubborn!"

The rest of the journey was quiet.

Gu Yin looked out the window at the road. It was heading towards the suburbs. It was estimated that it would take another half an hour before the car stopped at the foot of a mountain.

"Get off the bus!"

Gu Yin didn't say a word and obediently got out of the car.

"Let's go."

"No blindfold? No handcuffs? No phone confiscated?" Isn't that how it's always in TV dramas? You underestimate her like that? The person who brought her here is probably not quite right in the head either, but then again, how could a normal person do something like this?

The man looked at Gu Yin and laughed: "You think you can still escape now that you're here! Let's go."

Gu Yin: "......???"

Gu Yin followed the unprofessional driver for about ten minutes until they reached the mountainside. Looking down, she saw that her own horse farm was right on the other side.

"Hey, let me ask you something, how did you know I came out of the Red House?"

"I don't know, but I do know that once you're inside, you'll eventually come out, right?"

"So you waited all day." Then it seems there was no mole.

The man stopped speaking, because houses appeared ahead.

Gu Yin knew this place. She had asked about it when she came to the horse farm before. The staff said that there was a high-end homestay in the mountains, with each house having a different style. There were a total of 30 houses, each representing a different country.

Gu Yin wasn't interested in any of this and had never been there before, but she'd heard that business was booming and reservations were booked six months in advance. As for the owner, she said he was a foreigner who was rarely in the country and had someone else manage things for him.

"Was I kidnapped by the owner of this guesthouse?"

The driver remained silent.

Okay, looks like there's already surveillance here.

Gu Yin quickly followed the people into a house filled with Japanese style.

Could it be related to what happened at sea before?

The music playing inside was faint and lifeless. It was the same tune, but how come it sounded like this in the next country? They couldn't have played this kind of atmosphere without losing a few family members. It was too eerie!

The sounds inside stopped, the door opened, and a woman came out, bending over.

"Sir, the person has been brought."

"Come in."

The driver looked at Gu Yin and said, "Let's go in."

Gu Yin nodded: "Aren't you coming in with me?"

"That's not your question." With that, she turned and left.

Gu Yin: "..." Someone like this, really a kidnapper? Was she overthinking it? Otherwise, someone like this would be beaten to death in a heartbeat!

Gu Yin didn't even glance at the dresses and shoes placed in the entryway before walking straight in.

A man in his thirties was kneeling in the middle of the room. To be honest, he was quite handsome. Judging from his voice just now, there wasn't a trace of a Japanese accent.

The man looked up, frowning. "Why didn't you change your clothes or shoes?"

Gu Yin shrugged and sat down cross-legged: "Tell me, why did you bring me here to sit?"

The man sighed, "That dress was specially chosen for you. It's very beautiful. You probably haven't worn Japanese clothes before. Go and change into it. I think you'll like it."

Gu Yin poured herself a cup of tea, smelled it, and drank it all in one gulp: "No need. I like genuine products. As for the pirated ones, forget about them. You called me here, so you must have investigated me and know my temperament."

The man put down his teacup, smiled and nodded: "Then I won't force you, but isn't your posture a bit off?"

Gu Yin sat cross-legged, while he knelt; neither looked quite right.

Gu Yin laughed: "If you're not going to get down to business, then I'm leaving. I haven't had dinner yet, and I'm starving!"

The man smiled upon hearing this and said, "My apologies for my rudeness." He then clapped his hands.

Soon after, people brought in the food one after another.

"I have no appetite at all. Cook me a bowl of noodles!" With this environment and this food, whoever wants to eat it can eat it.

The man wasn't angry when he heard this, and had someone cook noodles for Gu Yin.

"I also graduated from Qingda University. So, you should be my junior, so we don't need to be so distant, right?"

Gu Yin raised an eyebrow: "Are you an international student? Or an exchange student?"

"Can't I be a local native?"

Gu Yin looked around and then smiled at him: "If it were a local, they would want to tear this place down."

Why would I learn those stupid rules!

The man did not answer Gu Yin's question, but changed the subject.

I've heard about your breakup with your ex-fiancé. It's a shame. He didn't know how to cherish you. Someone as wonderful as you deserves someone better.

"A better person? Who? The world's richest man? Too old, he could be my grandfather, forget it."

Man: "...I'm talking about young and promising people."

Gu Yin chuckled: "Like you?"

How could he raise a cup of tea to Gu Yin and ask, "Is that not allowed?"

"This is a 'handsome man trap'!" Gu Yin laughed.

"You know how to get involved, alright, stop talking nonsense. I'm not interested in men, get to the point. I'm running out of patience."

Seeing her like this, the man knew that this step was a failure.

"Let me introduce myself. My name is Daomuzi. I'm from the country of cherry blossoms, and I work as a cherry blossom language teacher here in your country."

Gu Yin nodded: "I don't need an introduction."

Dao Muzi wasn't angry: "I know I called you here today mainly because of what happened at sea, but don't worry, I'm not here to cause trouble. I just want to make a deal with you!"

The transaction involves the ship.

"What transaction?"

"Can you sell me your fishing boat? I'm willing to pay any price."

Gu Yin raised an eyebrow: "Then a billion?"

Just as the other party seemed about to agree, Gu Yin uttered two more words.

"Dollar."

Dao Muzi laughed angrily, "Don't you think you're asking for a bit too much? 8 billion for a fishing boat? Are you sure?"

Gu Yin said indifferently, "You don't have to."

Dao Muzi: "...That's not how it works. Your fishing boat isn't worth that much money."

"Whether it's worth it or not, I don't know, but you certainly do."

Dao Muzi really didn't know, but his superiors ordered him to get his hands on the ship, or at least obtain the manufacturing data, no matter the cost.

"How about this, I don't need the boat, you just give me the data for making the boat, a copy is fine too, the price will be lower, how about that?"

Gu Yin shook her head: "Not very good. The data has already been submitted, and no draft was kept. I can't remember it. But if you want an incomplete copy, that's not impossible. 1 billion RMB!"

Dao Muzi laughed angrily, "Why don't you just go and rob it!"

Shen Guyin watched as the other person took a deep breath and picked up her teacup to cover the corners of her mouth that were turning up.

"We want a ship! 2 billion RMB! Plus one immigration quota from our country!"

"What would I do with your country's immigration quota? It's unnecessary. I'm not going abroad." She's not a garbage dump, giving her all sorts of trash!

"Our country is great, with beautiful scenery and high-quality people. If you'd like, I can come with you..."

"Bang!"

The door was pushed open with great force, interrupting Dao Muzi's unfinished words.

"What, abandoned by Chu Yan, are you planning to throw yourself into the arms of Japan?"

Dao Muzi frowned and looked at Gu Yin: "Your people?"

Gu Yin shook her head: "I don't know him!"
