On Gu Yin's side, leading the race were her male classmates, including some she knew before, such as Wei Feng and Yu Cheng.
The two were surprised to see that Gu Yin and the other two had followed behind without falling behind. They slowed down their pace slightly and continued forward at a steady speed after Gu Yin and the other two caught up.
"Gu Yin, how come you run so fast and can keep going for so long? Do you exercise regularly?" Wei Feng asked curiously.
Gu Yin nodded: "Yes, where's Meng Dayu? Why didn't we see him with you? Did you abandon him?"
Yu Cheng quickly waved his hand: "He can't run away, let him walk slowly. He's my neighbor. He'll never sit if he can lie down, and he'll never stand if he can sit. He's the kind of guy who finds walking tiring. Making him run is like taking his life!"
Gu Yin exclaimed in surprise, "Then why did he choose this major? This major is very tiring!"
Yu Cheng sighed, "Who told him to like it! He's interested in things like cell genetics, so he signed up for this. I didn't really want to study it, so I just signed up with him. By the way, where are you all from? We, Meng Dayu, and Wei Feng are all locals, and we're all from the same compound!"

"Wow! That would be so much fun! We can come visit you during our holidays! My grandpa told me that when they fought in that area, they ate all the food from the mountains..."
Seeing that Lulu and the other two were getting along well, Xiang Xingmang turned around with a smile and discovered that Gu Yin was far behind them and had stopped there.
"Ayin, what's wrong? Why aren't you keeping up? Are you tired?"
Gu Yin turned to look ahead and shook her head: "It's alright, we're coming!" This is a military stronghold; she's probably overreacting.

"Exactly, exactly! We were just talking about this, and you came out to scare us!" Wei Feng also complained, looking at Li Sheng.
Knowing he was in the wrong, Li Sheng said, "I just came to check on you. Since you guys are still so energetic, I'll go back and check on the other students. You guys keep going, and you can go back and rest after you finish running."

After resting for five minutes, the group got up and slowly walked back.
After walking for less than ten minutes, I ran into a group of people, about a dozen or so. Seeing that they were already heading back, I was incredibly envious.
"Keep going! Just five more minutes and you'll be there! Hang in there! Once you're done, you can go back and rest! Keep going!"
Those who were about to give up immediately perked up after hearing Wei Feng's words, and all of them shouted and rushed forward!
After the others left, the five continued walking forward, but after walking for a while, they still didn't see anyone.
"I wonder where the people behind us have gone. How come we haven't seen them even after such a long distance? Have they given up?" Yu Cheng asked in confusion.
It was pitch black all around, which looked rather eerie.
Wei Feng shook his head: "Probably not. The instructors are probably with them. This is a military camp, a place where things are done with strict discipline. They won't go back on their word. Don't worry."
Under the moonlight, the faint reflections of five people standing side by side were cast on the mountain path, and the trees on both sides began to sway nervously.
Gu Yin stared at the road without blinking: "The wind is picking up."
