"Where are you now?"

Zhou Ziqiu typed the question.

"It's in Luoqi, in the Peach Blossom District of Luoqi."

This person is of course the best in Luoqi. Zhou Ziqiu continued typing: "Do you have time tonight? If not, I'll come to see you during the day."

The person on the other end clearly understood the rules of the Wish Pavilion and replied, "Yes, yes, I'll be there at midnight."

"good."

That night, a man in his thirties appeared at the shop entrance, repeatedly looking at his phone and the Liaoyuan Pavilion signboard. After a moment, he walked into the shop, looking somewhat uneasy. Upon seeing Zhou Ziqiu in the shop, he stepped forward and asked, "Hello, where is the person I contacted on the green lamp?"

Zhou Ziqiu smiled and gestured for him to go upstairs: "Let's go upstairs first."

"well."

The man went upstairs and, upon seeing Wen Su sitting in the living room, instinctively assumed this was the person he had been communicating with. He immediately rushed to Wen Su, crying out, "Master, Master, save me!"

Wen Su pushed the man away and pointed at Zhou Ziqiu: "It wasn't me."

The man never expected that Zhou Ziqiu, who looked so young, was the one who had contacted him. But it didn't matter who it was, as long as he could be saved: "Master, Master, please save me."

Zhou Ziqiu gestured for him to sit down: "Sit down and talk slowly."

“Okay.” The man sat down and began to recount everything that had happened recently—

“I don’t know why, but recently I’ve been dreaming about my classmates. In the dream, they are all still alive and want me to go back to class with them. At first, I didn’t pay attention to it and thought it was because I missed them.” The man took a breath. “But after that, I dream about the same scene every night.”

Zhou Ziqiu frowned, noticing a problem in the man's narrative: "'Them'? Not one person?"

The man nodded: "I don't know if you know about the school bus that plunged into the river eighteen years ago. I was the only survivor. All sixteen students in my class, the driver, and the homeroom teacher died."

The time interval was too long, and Zhou Ziqiu couldn't remember for a moment. Wen Su reached out and tapped the table, interrupting their conversation: "Wasn't that something that happened in Xiqi?"

Zhou Ziqiu suddenly looked at Wen Su, his heart filled with shock—Xiqi?

The man, unaware of Zhou Ziqiu's inner shock, nodded: "Yes, from Xiqi. I graduated from Xiqi No. 2 High School."

Knowing that this matter might be related to him, Zhou Ziqiu's expression also became serious: "What is appearing in your dreams now?" Judging from the man's appearance alone, he is not in any life-threatening danger, which shows that his deceased classmates and teachers did not have any intention to harm him. So what made them, who have been dead for eighteen years, find this man again?

The man shook his head: "Nothing special, just my high school life."

"Alright," Zhou Ziqiu said, "please let me know if anything new appears in your dream." With that, he wrote his phone number on a sticky note.

The man accepted the note and asked, "Master, what should I do? I really don't want to have this dream anymore."

Zhou Ziqiu slowly shook his head: "We can only address the root cause. I'll go to your alma mater to take a look. If you're worried about being harmed, I'll give you a talisman." After saying that, he stood up and took a Dream-Soothing Talisman from a cabinet next to him and handed it to the man.

The man agreed; that was all he could do now.

After the man and Wen Su left Yuange, Zhou Ziqiu called Cui Yongle and told him what had happened that day.

Cui Yongle was surprised to hear this, not expecting to find a clue so quickly. He immediately turned on his computer and searched for information about the situation in Xiqi. After a moment, he asked, "Xiao Qiu, are you sure it's Xiqi No. 2 High School?"

"yes."

"What I see here is that Xiqi No. 2 High School has been abandoned, and a real estate developer has bought the land to renovate it."

Upon hearing this, Zhou Ziqiu smiled and said, "Then that must be it."

It was someone's attempt to renovate this place that disturbed the ghost trapped there. But another question arises: Did "he" participate in this? And what role did "he" play in this?

Everything remains to be seen; we'll have to wait and see when we reach Xiqi.

The next morning, because this matter might involve Zhou Ziqiu, Cui Yongle did not inform Glasses and Fatty. He, Zhou Ziqiu, and Wen Su boarded the plane to Xiqi.

After landing at Xiqi Airport, the three of them first found a hotel and booked rooms, and then rushed to the former site of Xiqi No. 2 High School. On the way, Cui Yongle also looked up a lot of information about Xiqi No. 2 High School.

Since the accident eighteen years ago, students have repeatedly reported hearing the sound of classes when passing by the classroom where the accident occurred. Even the night watchman reported that the classroom lights would turn on by themselves at night. Over time, people on campus began to feel uneasy. Less than a year later, Xiqi No. 2 High School moved to a new campus.

The old site of Xiqi No. 2 High School is in the suburbs, with no buildings nearby and far from the city center. So students used to take school buses to school. In recent years, a residential area was built near the school, but because of that incident, not many people live there.

The three rented a car and followed the navigation to the former site of the Second High School. When they arrived at the residential area near the former site of the Second High School in Xiqi, Zhou Ziqiu looked out the car window. It was indeed as Cui Yongle's information described. There were few people on the street and very few shops. The villa area connected to the residential area was deserted, with only a few houses at the front showing signs of renovation.

Upon arriving at the former site of Xiqi No. 2 High School, the three of them got off the bus and had a direct sense of the desolation of the place. Opposite the school gate was a desolate wilderness, with rampant vegetation almost spreading onto the old asphalt road. Standing on the slope and looking into the distance, they could see the passage connecting to the highway. This place was also the end of the residential area and villa area.

Looking back at the gate of Xiqi No. 2 High School, the nine characters "Xiqi No. 2 High School" were written in ink on the dilapidated white wooden board. The wind and sun had caused the wooden board to crack, and weeds grew in the cracks of the wall. The glass of the teaching building next to the gate was also covered with dust and writings left by explorers from who knows where.

Wen Su stepped forward and shook the iron gate of the main entrance. As expected, he saw an iron chain on the gate. The three of them walked up to the back gate and found that it was not locked. The heavy iron gate was only slightly ajar. Through the open iron gate, they could see a corner of the playground inside. An excavator was parked inside, obviously because the real estate developer had sent people to survey the area.

Pushing open the iron gate, the three of them walked in through the back door. To the left of the path was the teaching building, with two small doors on the side. The building to the right of the path was probably a dormitory building, but its main gate was locked. The weeds in the flower bed were growing very well, covering most of the steps.

The three of them did not go into the teaching building first, but instead followed the path to the playground. They had a clear understanding of the structure of the teaching building. The campus was very large, and the building walls were made of dilapidated red bricks. From the air, the teaching building should be in the shape of an "E". The vertical line of the "E" was directly opposite the main gate, and the three short horizontal lines were parallel, which were the locations of many classrooms in the teaching building.

Approaching the first floor, you can see many side doors, presumably for the convenience of students entering and exiting.

The school playground has been mostly excavated, and the teaching building is expected to be demolished by explosives soon. It is also some distance from the residential area, so there is no need to worry about disturbing the residents.

From Cui Yongle and Wen Su's perspective, this place was just a bit abandoned and nothing special, but from Zhou Ziqiu's perspective, this teaching building could be described as gloomy, with a heavy yin energy emanating from the building, almost blocking out the sunlight.

Logically speaking, with such a strong yin energy, countless people must have died here. However, there is only one recorded murder case from eighteen years ago. Even if those eighteen people died violently, there wouldn't be such a strong yin energy here.

Sure enough, something's going on here.

"Here..." Cui Yongle noticed that Zhou Ziqiu's expression was not good, so he leaned closer to him and asked quietly. He didn't finish his sentence, but Zhou Ziqiu knew what he was asking, and he nodded.

Cui Yongle breathed a sigh of relief; it would be great if it were here.

Wen Su remained silent, but he took in the entire interaction between the two.

"Okay, let's go in and take a look."

Cui Yongle suggested.

The two nodded and went through a side door.

As soon as they entered the teaching building, Wen Su and Cui Yongle felt a cool breeze, as if someone had blown a breath of cold air on them. However, Zhou Ziqiu's expression changed drastically. He leaned against the door and wall, breathing rapidly, his face pale, and he covered his nose with his hand.

Cui Yongle immediately noticed the trail of black blood flowing from the man's hand as he covered his nose. He quickly pulled him to the first-floor restroom, leaving Wen Su, whose face was gloomy, standing there.

As soon as they entered the restroom, a foul stench wafted from a place that hadn't been set foot in for over a decade. But Zhou Ziqiu and Cui Yongle didn't care about that now. Just as Cui Yongle was about to grab some toilet paper to stuff Zhou Ziqiu's nose, he saw Zhou Ziqiu raise his hand and summon his long knife. He skillfully slashed a wound on his wrist, and black blood dripped from the wound onto the ground.

"Xiao Qiu, you..." Cui Yongle stared in disbelief, momentarily forgetting to wipe Zhou Ziqiu's nose.

"fine."

Zhou Ziqiu's voice was low and hoarse. The yin energy that Cui Yongle couldn't see dissipated from his wounds and mixed with the yin energy in the air. Although this move looked painful, it was undeniably effective. Zhou Ziqiu's nose immediately stopped bleeding, except for the tearing sensation that had been lingering in his soul.

"Let's go back. Wen Su is suspicious."

"Then we need to wipe the blood off first."

The wound healed on its own after a short while. Cui Yongle handed Zhou Ziqiu a tissue to wipe the blood off his face. Apart from his face being a little pale, there was nothing unusual about him.

To Zhou Ziqiu and Cui Yongle's surprise, Wen Su didn't ask them anything after they returned, and his expression remained normal. For a moment, Zhou Ziqiu even wondered if Wen Su knew everything. He started to recall in his mind where he might have given himself away, but Wen Su opened his mouth, interrupting his thoughts.

"Let's go see the class where the incident happened."
