Chapter 104 The Zhang Family's Bullying Goes Too Far
Shu Yu paused, her hand raised to knock, and frowned. She then gestured for Da Niu to be quiet as he approached.
The next moment, a sarcastic voice came from inside, "Third sister-in-law, what are you saying? It's well past lunchtime, and we've been waiting for you to come back. We thought you had already found something to eat outside. Wouldn't the food have gone bad if we left it here?"
Daya clutched the hem of her clothes with both hands and said in a low voice, "But I haven't eaten anything all day."
Another voice followed, "How could you not have eaten? Didn't you send a big basket of peaches to your family the other day? And you even managed to send your sister such a nice piece of cloth. With all that ability, how could you not find anything to eat?"
"Exactly, could it be that my third sister-in-law is secretly eating something good outside without telling us?"
"Do you have anything else on you? Why don't you let us search you?"
Shu Yu looked around and saw that the Zhang family's wall was low. She immediately took a few steps, moved a large stone, stepped on it, and poked half her head out from the wall. She could see the scene inside at a glance.
At this moment, the two women who were sitting on the stool in the courtyard, laughing, stood up and walked towards Daya together.
Then he started to grope Daya, saying he was searching her, but he took the opportunity to pinch her several times. "Third sister-in-law, you can't support your family anymore. You're married into the Zhang family now, you're a member of the Zhang family. Even your three nephews haven't had a big peach, but you're so generous."

However, at that moment, an old woman came out of the house, looking at her three daughters-in-law with a stern face, "What are you arguing about? Aren't you afraid of being laughed at?"
Zhou and Feng immediately released Daya and walked up to the woman with smiles, "Mother, did we disturb you?"
“Mother, this is not our fault. It was my third sister-in-law who questioned us as soon as she came back, asking why we didn’t leave her any food.”
After hearing this, the old woman immediately glared fiercely at Daya. "How dare you ask such a question? What do you want to eat if you're a barren hen? You traitor, you'll only cause us trouble. What are you standing there for? Go and clean up the dishes, and after you're done washing them, go and shell the corn in the corner. Also, the water in the jar is empty, refill it in a bit. There's so much work to do, and you're still slacking off here. Hurry up and get to work! You won't be sleeping tonight until you finish."
Daya flinched, lowered her head, and hurried into the kitchen.
The old woman spat at her back, "Taking the fabric back to your parents' home, you've got some nerve."
Zhou and Feng covered their mouths and giggled. "Isn't that right? She should be taught a lesson so she knows her place."
Shu Yu climbed down from the wall, and Da Niu hurriedly followed. "Shu Yu, don't worry, let's go and bring Da Ya out now. The Zhang family is going too far."
