Chapter 165 Let's Go Together
As soon as the man finished speaking, a sharp pain suddenly shot through the hand holding the dagger. The dagger fell to the ground with a 'bang,' and then the thumb was forcefully bent outwards, as if it were about to break.
The girl in his arms took a step back, kicked him in the groin, and when he was in so much pain he could barely breathe, she grabbed his arm and threw him over his shoulder.
"Ah..." The man screamed and fell to the ground, unable to get up.

He then stood up and gave Shu Yu a thumbs-up.
Shu Yu smiled and tidied her hair. "Who told him to be so foolish as to take me hostage? Oh, by the way, how is Doctor Zhao?"
Meng Yunzheng shook his head, indicating that he was fine.
Shu Yu breathed a sigh of relief and asked, "Who are these two? Do you have a grudge against them?"
Meng Yunzheng didn't answer. Instead, he went to get two ropes and handed one to her.
Shu Yu quickly tied one of them up, and then helped Meng Yunzheng bring in the still unconscious Doctor Zhao from outside.
Doctor Zhao was injured in both hands and feet. It was probably because the two villains were afraid that he would escape, so they stabbed him several times. That's how the blood flowed out on the ground.
The bleeding has stopped, but the wound still looks horrifying.
Meng Yunzheng skillfully found the wound medicine, and Shu Yu helped bring in water. The two of them applied the medicine to Doctor Zhao's wound and bandaged it before leaving the room.
Meng Yunzheng wiped his hands clean, then sat down across the table and began to write.

Shu Yu suddenly looked at the man who had been knocked unconscious. Holy crap, so the person the county government was looking for was here.
"Then how did they find your house? And they seem to know you?"
Meng Yunzheng nodded, without denying it.
"I'm sorry, I've dragged you into this. They thought they could escape by coming to me."
Shu Yu quickly waved her hand, "No, you've helped me several times, and I rarely have the chance to repay you." Actually, she also felt that if the two of them asked Meng Yunzheng for help, they might actually be able to escape.
"By the way, shouldn't these two be sent to the county government office?"
Meng Yunzheng nodded again.
Shu Yu stood up and said, "Then I won't bother you anymore. You can take it over there. I'm going to find my cat."

Even so, she still felt regretful. After all, it was a rare opportunity to deal with the government; she might be able to get favors whenever she opened her shop in the future.

Meng Yunzheng, however, seemed to read her mind and wrote, 'Are you afraid others will find out you are the third young lady of the Shu family?'
Shu Yu was startled and looked up, only to see Meng Yunzheng laughing and shaking his head at her.
