Chapter 2309 The Second Madam Comes to the Door
Shu Quan unfolded the note with some trepidation. After reading the words on it, his expression faltered for a moment. He then gritted his teeth and gripped the note tightly.
The note contained only a few words—Shu Yu told Shu Quan that she had read the letter he sent to the capital, and that she knew his intentions. Once the matter was settled, the higher-ups would naturally recognize his merit and help the second branch of the family escape their current predicament. Now she needed information about Shu Feng's unusual behavior during this period, and asked him to write it down so that she could deliver it to the Fang family openly and legitimately that evening.
Shu Quan looked at the words "Record his merit" on the sign again and muttered a few words in a low voice, "Now that things have come to this, I'll trust you this once."
