Chapter 260 The Lu Sanzhu Couple Who Came to Their Door
With the Jiang family's matter resolved, Shu Yu felt a great sense of relief.
She planned to go back and change her clothes, and then go to the shop to take a look.
Who knew that from afar she would see two familiar figures sitting on the steps in front of her house. Both of them were covered in sweat and looked listless, talking with their heads drooping. They didn't even notice Shu Yu walking over.
Only when she got closer could Shu Yu hear their conversation.
"I told you we should go to the clothing store, but you insisted on coming here." This was Liang's complaint.
Lu Sanzhu was also a little annoyed. "Why go to the clothing store? You know that clothing store has no business. If we go there, what if my mother is in a bad mood and kicks us out?"
"It's not our fault that their business is bad, so why are they kicking us out?"
“My mother is unreasonable. What if she gets annoyed when she sees me and thinks I’m bad luck?”
Shu Yu rubbed her forehead. "Third Uncle, you've gone down the path of smearing the old lady and there's no turning back."
Lu Sanzhu became somewhat agitated as he spoke, "I told you so! Ayu can make popcorn and potato chips, and they're all pretty good. She could have set up a stall on the street and her business would have been booming. But she insisted on opening some kind of clothing store, and look what happened, not a single sale. Ugh, I'm so worried. I was counting on her to make me rich and successful, but it seems like she'll be lucky if she doesn't lose everything."
Mrs. Liang nodded in agreement, "If you ask me, Ayu is smart, and she's good at dealing with people. But she just doesn't have a business mind. I reckon she doesn't even have my foresight."
“Exactly.” Lu Sanzhu said, wiping his sweat in frustration. “Where did my mother and the others go in the middle of the day? They couldn’t all have gone to the shop, could they? There’s no business there, and the whole family crowding around would just be a nuisance.”

"Why……"
"Why……"
The two deep sighs made Shu Yu want to roll her eyes a few times.
What exactly are these two people here for?
Just as Shu Yu was about to call out to them, she saw Liang take out two cakes from her bundle, give one to Lu Sanzhu, and say, "You're hungry, have something to eat first."
Shu Yu was shocked. Did her third uncle and aunt have a fever? They brought their own food to the county town. Shouldn't they have come here with the intention of freeloading?
Seeing that Lu Sanzhu almost choked after taking a bite of the dry pancake, Shu Yu finally spoke up, "Isn't it inappropriate for you to sit at someone's doorstep and gossip?"
The two were taken aback and abruptly turned their heads away.
"Ah, Ayu?"
Lu Sanzhu quickly swallowed the pancake, his face turning red from excitement.
As soon as Liang put down what she was holding, she stood up and said happily, "Ayu, you're finally back! We've been waiting for you for so long."
Shu Yu chuckled; she didn't believe it would take that long.
It's sunny outside, and it's uncomfortable to stand at the doorway in the middle of the day.
Shu Yu quickly took the key, opened the courtyard gate, and welcomed the two inside.
As soon as Lu Sanzhu entered the door, he rushed to the main room. He poured himself a glass of water and drank it down, finally feeling better.
He burped, then looked at Shu Yu with a smile, "Shu Yu, where did you all go? There's no one left at home."
Shu Yu also took a couple of sips of water. "I was wondering why you guys came to the county town today?"
The old lady said yesterday that she wanted to go back to the village to ask Liang to make a doll.
