Chapter 711 Zhang Ping'an's Eyes

Chapter 711 Zhang Ping'an's Eyes

Hearing the noise at the door, Shu Yu went outside. Just then, Zhang Ping'an looked up and looked in their direction.

Shu Yu nodded to him, and the latter immediately looked away.

He said to the old lady, "Dahu is very capable. He knows a lot of words and is very patient. My family originally wanted to invite them to stay for dinner, but Dahu and Sanya refused, so I sent them back."

As he spoke, Zhang Ping'an handed over the vegetable basket in his hand, "My mother said that your vegetable seeds were just planted and are not yet ripe, so she asked me to bring some vegetables over."

The old lady didn't stand on ceremony and took it from him. "Okay, thank you. We've already prepared dinner at home, why don't you stay and have some?"

"No, no, no." Zhang Ping'an hurriedly waved his hand, "My house is all cooked too, I'll be going now, goodbye."

Zhang Pingan turned and left, glancing at Shu Yu one last time before he did.

Shu Yu, however, was keeping her head down and talking quietly to San Ya, so she didn't notice.

The old lady raised an eyebrow, and when Shu Yu looked up, she saw that her grandmother's expression was strange.

She looked down at herself. "What's wrong? Is there something on me?"

"It's okay, wash your hands and eat first."

As Da Hu walked toward the kitchen, he explained, "Grandma, my sister and I were about to come back, but Aunt Zhang insisted that we stay, saying she would cook our meals too. My sister and I struggled for a long time before we could come back, which is why we've been delayed until now."

Sanya nodded quickly, "Yes, yes, we worked so hard. We ran from one to another, and we had to outwit and outmaneuver them for a long time. It was really tough."

Shu Yu laughed, "Why are you talking about it like it's a war?"

"There's no war, but I wasn't hungry before, but now I'm starving." Sanya rubbed her stomach and let out a long sigh like a little adult.

Adults are so hard to reason with. She speaks very clearly now, so why can't I understand her?

Shu Yu was amused by the two little ones' expressions; it seemed that Aunt Zhang's enthusiasm was hard for the children to handle.

After the family of four finished their meal, they heard that Shuyu was going to catch snails, and the two little ones excitedly clamored to go too.

The old lady waved her hand, and they all set off for the riverbank.

Shu Yu filled another half bucket before heading home in a grand procession. After soaking the contents in water, she went to the estate.

Wang Changdong was quite surprised, "What are you doing here so early?"

Shu Yu was taken aback by his words. If there were such a good boss in modern times, there wouldn't be so many corporate slaves.

He actually complained that she started work early?

Shu Yu smiled and said, "I'll organize the roster. The original booklet is fine, but I have my own familiar way of recording things. I thought that if I get it sorted out now, I can get things done faster in the future."

Wang Changdong had an expression that said, "You don't need to explain, I understand." He knew perfectly well how terrible the original booklet was, with its messy writing that probably only the person who wrote it could understand.

Shu Yu took the small basket to the kitchen and returned it to Aunt Fang, then moved the table under the eaves.

The light here is good, and you can get some sunshine, but it's not too bright for your eyes.

Once she starts working, Shuyu becomes much more serious.

Wang Changdong passed by her several times, and all he saw was her rapidly turning the pages of her book.

Finally, unable to resist his curiosity any longer, he simply came over and asked, "How's the tidying up going?"
