Chapter 110 Making Da Ya Pretend to Faint
In the entire Zhang family, the only person who had ever received this kind of treatment before was her older sister, Daya.
Seeing that the Zhang family members were all hiding, Shu Yu sneered, "Why are you hiding? The child is playing with you. As the child's grandparents, parents, uncles, and aunts, how can you not even grant this small request? Look how happy your three children are playing. They used to play like this all the time, didn't they?"
As soon as she finished speaking, one of the children said, "Yes, we often play like this, and Auntie always plays with us."
Shu Yu's eyes were icy cold, while Da Niu gritted his teeth and gripped the stick tightly in his hand.
If he could, he would like to rush up and beat the Zhang family half to death.
Daya stared blankly at the scene before her, looking at Da Niu and her younger sister blocking her way, a look of confusion flashing in her eyes.
She clearly... should have stopped all of this, but she couldn't open her mouth, couldn't move her legs, and even felt a sense of cathartic relief. That suffocating feeling of depression that had been pressing on her chest, making her feel like she couldn't breathe, and making her want to die several times, gradually seemed to be dissipating.
Tears started falling without me even realizing it.
It's been so tough. These past two years, she really felt like she couldn't take it anymore.
But now, it seems she's not alone in facing the Zhang family's wolves and beasts; someone is protecting her and helping her vent her anger.
Daya reached out and wiped her eyes. When she put her hand down, there was another hand in front of her, holding a piece of candy, which was stuffed into her mouth.
Shu Yu's voice came from beside me, "When I first came home, I gave Sanya a few candies. She and Da Hu were discussing that they should save one for their eldest sister. If she ate the candy, her eldest sister wouldn't feel bitter anymore."
"Wah..." Daya could no longer hold back and burst into tears, hugging Shuyu.
Da Niu, standing to the side, felt heartbroken. "Da Ya, it's my fault for not coming to stand up for you sooner."
Daya shook her head, but couldn't say a word.
The children in the yard stopped, and Shu Yu glanced at them, saying, "Continue."
The Zhang family was filled with hatred, even though the children hadn't hit them very hard, and it didn't hurt much. What hurt them most was when they struggled to their feet, and then Shu Yu came up and kicked them again.
They realized that even if everyone attacked together, they couldn't beat her alone. Boss Zhang wanted to pick up a stone and throw it at Shu Yu when she wasn't paying attention, but after Shu Yu dodged it, she came over and stomped on his head, wishing she could crush his brains out.
Old Zhang screamed, probably because the sound was too loud, and some villagers who were passing by the gate started knocking on the door.
"Aunt Gui, what happened to Aunt Gui? What's wrong with your family? Did they bully your third daughter-in-law again?"
The gate to the courtyard was not sturdy; it looked like it would be opened after a few knocks.
Granny Zhang's eyes lit up, and she hurriedly shouted, "Help! Help! Someone is killing someone!"
Shu Yu didn't stop her. She took out a box of rouge, the color of which was very bright, and directly scooped out a finger and smeared it on Daya's forehead.
Daya and Da Niu were both stunned. "Er Ya, what are you doing?"
"It's nothing, Brother Niu. In a little while, you carry my sister out. Sister, just pretend you're unconscious and don't say anything."
As she spoke, even the corners of Da Ya's mouth turned red, and even the spaces between her ten fingers were stained red.
Her hair was a mess, and from the very beginning, Shu Yu had no intention of taking off the sunflower seed shells on her head.
