"Hehe, you did notice." Old Madam Mu said.
The butler remained silent, standing quietly behind her.
Madam Mu continued, "That's true. You take care of my daily life all day long, so naturally I can't hide it from you. Since the wild boy became the leader of Mu Sen, he's not wild anymore, but Mu Sen is busy, so he rarely comes back."
Jin the Second...sigh, in the end I let him go down that path. As his grandmother, how can I ask him to do anything more? As long as he's happy, that's all that matters.
There are quite a few girls who like Jin Er, but I think... only Maomao is truly sincere. No matter how unruly Jin Er is, Maomao might be able to handle him... Hehe, just thinking about this makes me happy.
-------------------------------------
Cat drove straight to Mu Jin's apartment.
When she arrived, she knocked on the door for a long time, but no one answered. She wondered if Ah Jin wasn't home.
She glanced at the time; it was 10 a.m. She remembered that Ah Jin liked to sleep in, so she shouldn't be up yet…
Just as I was about to make a call to ask, a low "woof..." echoed in the hallway.
As soon as the cat turned its head, it saw Mu Jin standing at the elevator door, dressed in a casual and somewhat lazy hoodie and sweatpants, holding a dog leash, while Lu Yi sat upright at its feet.
Lu Yi is much more energetic than A Jin!
"Ah Jin! You went for a walk?" Cat laughed instantly.
Mu Jin walked over, took out his key to open the door, and with a few crisp "ring ring" sounds, Mu Jin pushed open the door and led Lu Yi inside.
He casually tossed the keys on the bar counter by the door.
The cat instantly lay down on the bar, picked up the bunch of keys, and pulled out the bell—it had just rung!
She shook her head again and said to Mu Jin, "Ah Jin, keep the gift I gave you!"
Mu Jin lay on the sofa, opened her eyes to look, then closed them again, "Too lazy to pick them off."
The cat put down the key, turned around and closed the door, then ran inside without any hesitation.
She said, "You're really lazy... but it's good that you're lazy!"
Lu Yi squatted to the side and performed a trick to remove the dog leash. He pulled the leash off the dog's neck, picked it up and put it next to him, and finally lay down on the carpet quietly.
The cat walked over, patted Lu Yi's head, and whispered, "You're such a good dog, Meow Meow likes you too."
Lu Yi raised his dog-like eyes, as if he understood.
Cat suddenly turned around and said, "Ah Jin, when you go out in the future, leave Lu Yi at my house! I'll have Meow Meow take care of him."
Mu Jin asked in a calm voice, "Who is Miaomiao? Do you have a litter of cats? Are they all cats?"
The cat immediately explained, "Meow meow is the cat! Cat isn't a cat!"
Mu Jin finally opened her eyes and looked at the cat squatting there. "Are you here to perform tongue twisters for me?"
The cat pouted, "You're too stupid to understand. Meow meow is my cat."
Mu Jin lowered her eyelids and asked casually, "Then why are you called Cat? Didn't you used to be called Jiu Xintian?"
The cat lowered its head and stroked Lu Yi's soft fur. "I don't know. They always see me with a black cat, so they call me Cat... Jiu Xintian, that's not my name. When Jiu Xintian fell into the swimming pool, she died. I'm giving her back her name."
Mu Jin remained silent.
Suddenly, the cat looked up at him and smiled, "Hehe, Ah Jin, have I confused you?"
Mu Jin slightly twitched the corner of her mouth, "Are you a ghost?"
The cat scratched its hair, stuck out its tongue, and made a face. "Ah Jin, are you scared?"
Mu Jin simply stood up expressionlessly and said, "After seeing so many people, you won't be afraid of ghosts anymore."
He went to the kitchen counter and made himself a cup of coffee.
Cat frowned, pondering Mu Jin's words carefully, but still didn't understand. Had he reversed what he said? It was as if people were scarier than ghosts.
Just as he was about to ask, Mu Jin asked, "Are you hungry again?"
Cat was stunned... but then he saw Mu Jin standing there, holding a fruit knife in her hand, gesturing at his wrist.
Suddenly, the cat rushed over, snatched the fruit knife, and grinned foolishly, "I'm not hungry, I'm not hungry... Why would you think that?"
Is Ah Jin trying to bleed her? She's not a real vampire.
Mu Jin asked, "Then what are you doing here?"
That's a question that makes it sound like the cat comes to him to "eat" him...
However, after thinking about it carefully, the cat realized that it was indeed true...
"I missed you, Cat Cat. I finally had time to come see you," Cat Cat said, resting her chin on her hands on the counter and looking at Mu Jin carefully.
Mu Jin lowered her eyes, glanced at her, and then downed a cup of strong black coffee.
He turned and went into the bedroom, saying as he went, "Wait outside."
The cat asked, "Where are you going?"
Cat was puzzled. Instead of waiting obediently, she peeked into the bedroom and looked around. Not seeing Mu Jin, she went in and heard the sound of water coming from the bathroom!
The cat suddenly smiled and asked, "Is Ah Jin taking a shower?"
After hesitating for a second, the cat quickly shuffled to the doorway. Light shone through the frosted glass door, but nothing could be seen.
She remembered that Ah Jin did not close the door when she took a shower, but when she turned the doorknob, the door was not only closed, but also locked from the inside!
I was momentarily disappointed...
She sat on the floor of the bedroom, where a wool carpet covered the floor, and waited.
The bathroom door opened shortly after, probably within a few minutes.
The cat looked up, its first thought being how quickly Ah Jin took a bath, and its second thought being how quickly Ah Jin got dressed...
He changed his clothes; only his hair was wet.
Mu Jin looked down at the cat with a blank expression, as if he had foreseen this scene when he walked into the bathroom.
"Didn't I tell you to wait outside?" Mu Jin said.
The cat scratched at the door frame and stammered, "Oh... the bedroom floor is comfortable."
"If it's difficult, you can just sit there," Mu Jin said, opening the wardrobe and taking out two pieces of clothing.
The cat jumped up immediately upon seeing this, asking, "Where are you going?"
Mu Jin remained silent and simply walked outside.
The cat completely forgot what it had just said and chased after it.
Arriving at a dedicated parking garage, there was a floor exclusively for Mu Jin. On the left was a row of all kinds of luxury cars, while on the right were motorcycles. The coolness and style of the motorcycles were no less than those luxury cars!
Cat looked at each car one by one, marveling at how men seemed to love cars. Her father, whom she had never met, and Jiu Yebai were both car enthusiasts, but Mu Jin's collection on this floor was more than the entire garage in their family!
The cat looked at Mu Jin with a hint of resentment. "Ah Jin is too expensive!"
Just then, after the powerful roar of a motorcycle, Mu Jin stopped in front of her on a motorcycle. Seeing her gaze, he seemed to misunderstand, "You've got your eye on this motorcycle? Take it if you want it."
