The autumn wind kept blowing, and as soon as the cleaner swept up one layer of fallen leaves, another layer immediately fell.
This neighborhood is full of ginkgo trees. The next day, the leaves pile up like a thick carpet.
The cat sat there motionless for a long time, covered in golden leaves, which filled its hat.
The cat looked up, somewhat bewildered.
She thought she was hallucinating because she missed Ah Jin so much, and such things had happened before.
Seeing her dazed expression, Mu Jin frowned slightly. "Are you stupid?"
"Ah Jin!"
Suddenly, the cat stood up and pounced on Mu Jin, hugging her waist tightly. It was also covered in cold air, but Mu Jin suddenly felt much warmer.
Then, belatedly, I realized that this wasn't a hallucination! It really was Ah Jin!
"Stand still."
Mu Jin said that she had seen many women throw themselves at her, but only this cat had ever been taken advantage of repeatedly.
Cat blinked and said in pain, "Ah Jin, Cat's legs are numb and I can't stand up straight."
She absolutely did not do it on purpose this time. She had been squatting there for so long that her legs felt like they didn't belong to her anymore.
"Who told you to squat here?"
Mu Jin's words sounded somewhat impatient; his attempts at conversation always carried a sense of distance that was difficult to overcome.
"Let go," Mu Jin said.
Cat pouted. Ah Jin was so fierce, but she really couldn't stand steadily, so she tried to let go.
But in the blink of an eye, Mu Jin turned around and lowered herself slightly, "Come on up."
Cat was stunned for a moment, looked at Mu Jin's broad back, and immediately hugged his shoulders and climbed up.
Mu Jin walked silently toward the apartment.
The cat buried its face in Mu Jin's neck and rubbed against her.
"Jiu Maomao, don't move around." Mu Jin's voice seemed even fiercer.
The cat just twitched its nose and stopped moving.
The cool tip of her nose brushed against the delicate skin of his neck, while her warm breath repeatedly teased his fragile nerves.
Mu Jin's eyes darkened beneath her tousled hair. She quickened her pace and soon arrived at the apartment entrance.
"Ring ring ring—"
When Mu Jin took out her keys, the clear sound of the small brass bell rang out exceptionally clearly in the quiet stairwell at night.
The cat glanced at it and immediately burst out laughing.
Mu Jin casually tossed the key onto the bar and closed the door with her foot.
Walking up to the sofa, his patience seemed to have run out. "Get down."
The cat didn't want to get down... so it couldn't help but nuzzle against Mu Jin's neck again before letting go and falling onto the sofa.
The cat looked up at Mu Jin and couldn't help but ask, "Jin, why did you let me into your room so easily?"
Mu Jin took off her trench coat and threw it aside. Hearing this, she glanced at her and asked, "If I don't let you in, will you leave?"
The cat shook its head.
Mu Jin asked again, "If I tell you to leave now, will you listen?"
The cat shook its head again.
Mu Jin gave her a cold look, as if to say, "If that's the case, then what's the point of asking?"
Mu Jin dislikes troublesome things. He usually handles things in a simple and brutal way, and between simple and brutal, there is only a long cat.
Simple things can usually be done with words, while more forceful things require physical action.
But this cat was definitely an anomaly; she couldn't be persuaded or beaten, so Mu Jin chose to go along with her.
The cat's eyes followed Mu Jin as he went into the bedroom.
Lu Yi suddenly ran over and obediently squatted down in front of the cat. His dark pupils were lowered. The cat couldn't help but pat Lu Yi's head. This big dog was so gentle.
Her gaze shifted to the coffee table, where a shopping bag sat. Ah Jin had just brought it back. She leaned over and looked inside, discovering it was filled with canned beer.
She had just noticed that Ah Jin reeked of alcohol; he seemed to have drunk a lot.
Why drink this? Is it because you're in a bad mood? Or is it just because the wine tastes good?
Thinking about it, the cat took out a bottle, opened the cap, and took a small sip. Her mouth was filled with a strange taste that she had never tasted before. Although she wanted to try it again, her body rejected it too much and she couldn't drink it.
"It doesn't taste good," the cat concluded.
At this moment, Mu Jin came out.
Cat Cat then noticed that Mu Jin had changed his clothes, and his hair was dripping wet. Had he just gone to take a shower? Had he forgotten about her? She continued doing what she was supposed to do.
The cat couldn't help but say, "Ah Jin, aren't you going to take care of me?"
"Awoo..." Lu Yi raised its front paw and touched the cat.
The cat shook hands with it and whispered, "Lu Yi, I wish A Jin was as warm as you."
After a while, Mu Jin came over, placed a pretty beer mug in front of the cat, and sat down on the sofa with a nonchalant air, looking at her. "Go back after you finish drinking."
Cat picked up the cup in surprise. The scarlet blood looked exceptionally beautiful in the glass, and the smell was so enticing that Cat couldn't resist just smelling it.
"Kitty...Kitty didn't come to you for this reason." Kitty said, and if she hadn't been swallowing hard as she spoke, her words might have been a little more believable.
Mu Jin completely ignored her explanation.
I don't know who was nuzzling his neck just now; he's not made of wood.
"Then don't drink it, give it to me," Mu Jin said, extending her hand.
The cat held the cup tighter, "Can't waste it..."
With that, the cat tilted its head back and drank it all in one gulp.
In an instant, she felt as if she were soaking in a hot spring, feeling warm and cozy, and she felt a little drunk.
Opening her eyes, the cat looked at Mu Jin. He seemed to still be sitting on the sofa, but he also seemed to be moving. She shook her head. This time, Mu Jin seemed to have become two.
The cat shook its head again, smacked its lips, and said, "Ah Jin's blood smells good, but it seems to have a different taste... yes, it's that beer taste."
"Ah Jin, I think I'm drunk," Maomao said. She felt dizzy and slumped onto the sofa.
Mu Jin called her twice, but the cat took a long time to respond. She sank softly into the sofa, wriggling around like a caterpillar, and finally nestled into a cushion, where she remained still.
Mu Jin watched this scene with a headache, got up and walked over, wanting to help her up, "I'll take you home."
Instead, the cat pulled him along, saying, "Where are we going? No, we're not going anywhere. I'll be wherever A-Jin is. Don't even think about leaving me behind."
"Really drunk?" Mu Jin thought incredulously.
Even if he drank alcohol, the cat only indirectly drank a little bit of alcohol, so its alcohol tolerance is really touching.
He checked the time; it was almost 3 a.m. He suddenly picked up the cat and walked outside.
As Mu Jin kicked open the door and was about to leave, the cat clung tightly to the doorframe. "I'm not leaving, A Jin, I'm not leaving... I'll sleep here tonight. I know you charge, but wait... I'll give you the money."
