Chapter 195 Showdown: Ah Jin is really hard to fool.

However, Mu Jin continued, "Just say it was Tan Zheng who did it. Where's the short sword?"

Cat stared at Mu Jin in disbelief. "Ah Jin, what are you saying... Are you asking me to frame Sister Tan? Do you have a grudge against Sister Tan?"

"Jiu Maomao!" Mu Jin's tone became a little more forceful.

The cat simply looked at Mu Jin innocently for a moment.

"Awoo..."

Lu Yi nudged Mu Jin with its paw, then looked at the cat with a puzzled expression. It seemed to have noticed that its owner was a little angry.

After a while, Mu Jin said, "Zhenzi is a soldier. Even if the dead person is a criminal, he will investigate thoroughly. However, the military also has special departments. Tan Zheng is a successor of the Ce Men. If she takes on this matter, it will be handed over to the special department for handling. Once the investigation process is completed, it will be fine. But you are different."

The cat blinked.

Mu Jin then said, "Unless you voluntarily admit that you are a member of the Jingmen and that you will serve in this special department in the future, you will not be able to pass this test."

Cat swallowed hard, touched Lu Yi's ear, and mumbled, "Lu Yi, what is A Jin saying? Can you understand?"

"Awoo~" Lu Yi let out a sweet cry.

The cat took it upon itself to translate, "You don't understand, and I don't understand either..."

Mu Jin suddenly leaned forward, pinched Maomao's chin with one hand, and made her raise her head. He looked directly into her eyes and said, "Jiu Maomao, do you think I'm joking with you? Would I say this to you if I wasn't absolutely sure?"

"The eight boxes are all Luban boxes, you can open them all, right? What are you going to do with the puppet from Xishan? Do you know that it belongs to the Fengmen?"

"This..." Although Maomao was prepared, she was still stumped when Mu Jin questioned her face to face. Lying to A Jin... that was too difficult.

Her gaze shifted, as if she dared not look directly at Mu Jin.

However, Mu Jin pinched her chin, not letting her avoid the question, and said something that shook her to her core!

"If that's not enough, do you know what Jiu Xintian said to me before she died?"

The cat was completely stunned!

Jiu Xintian? Before she died?

Mu Jin said, word by word, "Jiu Xintian threatened me, demanding that I marry her. She said she knew I was from the Feng Clan and she was from the Jing Clan, and that she was a good match for me. Didn't you know about this?"

The cat was so shocked it was completely unresponsive!

That happened so long ago! Why doesn't she know?!

After a long while, Maomao gradually came to her senses. She looked at Mu Jin and stammered, "Is there anything else I don't know? Also, did you agree to marry Jiu Xintian? A Jin, did you agree to marry her?"

Mu Jin released the cat's chin, but tapped her forehead instead, "Am I crazy?"

The cat breathed a sigh of relief. "So there isn't any?"

Mu Jin stared at her, wondering if this cat would even listen to the important points!

However, judging from the cat's expression, it seemed that it wouldn't give up until it got a definite answer, so Mu Jin impatiently hummed in response.

The cat whispered, "So you knew all along..."

Even before she came to the human world, Mu Jin had already investigated the Jiu family.

Jiu Xintian, that little star, stopped his car and proudly told him that she already knew his biggest secret, and that she would not tell anyone as long as they got married.

At that time, Mu Jin was calm and composed. He just felt that the Jingmen had produced a fool, and it was a waste that he had been looking for the Jingmen all this time.

What happened next... went completely astray.

That fool has been reborn and become a different person. Even without investigation, Mu Jin had long ago determined that Maomao was the successor of the Jingmen.

Jiu Yunchi is the same.

"Do you know how to tell Mako now?" Mu Jin asked.

He went to all this trouble for this very purpose.

Cat suddenly laughed, "So, Ah Jin, did you come here specifically to teach me how to escape? You've already conspired with Tan Zheng? And, you shot Paul to protect me?"

Her eyes were bright and sparkling, as if they were shining even in the night.

Once the cat understood all this, it felt much better.

Mu Jin said impatiently, "Did you even listen to what I said?"

The cat nodded repeatedly, "I understand! I'll say whatever you tell me to say."

Mu Jin got the answer, but his patience ran out, especially when the cat grinned at him like an idiot, that strange, uncontrollable feeling returned.

Mu Jin stood up to leave.

But the cat suddenly grabbed him.

Mu Jin lowered her eyes; the cat's paws were very cold, like ice cubes.

"Ah Jin, you're so good to me," the cat said.

Mu Jin hesitated for a moment, then sat down again. He took off his trench coat, leaving him in only a thin black short-sleeved shirt. He said, "You can bite me."

He couldn't possibly carry a syringe and a cup with him.

The cat had excellent eyesight; if she wanted to see, her eyes could see even more clearly than a black cat. Her gaze fell on Mu Jin's neck, and she suddenly asked, "Ah Jin, how do you know your blood can replenish my spiritual power?"

Ah Jin has already laid it all out with her, so there's nothing left to hide.

The thin veil that had been separating him and Mu Jin was now gone, so the cat didn't mind letting him know a little more!

Mu Jin fell silent.

He didn't speak, not because he didn't know, but because he seemed unwilling to say.

The cat said to itself, "Your blood is very nourishing for me, I can't give it up. Can you feed me for the rest of my life?"

After she finished speaking, she realized something was amiss! This was merely one of A-Jin's reincarnations. If his soul were complete, he could return to being the god A-Jin. Therefore, the cat quickly added:

"No, one lifetime isn't enough... there's always the next life."

The light in Mu Jin's eyes dimmed, and those starry eyes seemed to fall into a black hole, becoming impossible to fathom.

"Jiu Maomao, if you rely on me, you'll never have enough to eat. Before I change my mind today, are you going to bite me or not?"

The cat waited anxiously for a long time, only to receive this sentence.

Feeling a bit deflated, she pounced on Mu Jin and bit down on his neck. She didn't want A Jin to think she was just grinding her teeth, so she bit hard, drawing blood immediately.

After a while, the cat released Mu Jin.

Several beads of blood oozed from the two rows of teeth marks. Cat, adhering to the principle of not wasting anything, was about to lick them away, but Mu Jin suddenly grabbed her arm and threw her back onto the sofa.

He grabbed his trench coat, got up, and left.

The cat's meows didn't stop it; its steps were somewhat hurried.

The door slammed shut.

The cat looked away, her cold body quickly warming up. She rubbed Lu Yi's ears and said, "Is the cat's request too much? How long is a human's life..."

"I was just setting a trap for A-Jin. If he agreed to my offer, he wouldn't be able to abandon me after he became God Jin again. But why doesn't A-Jin fall into my trap?"

Finally, Cat sighed, "Ah Jin is so hard to fool."
