Chapter 274 The Cat Who Sneaks In and Takes Advantage of Others

"Ah Jin, can I ask you a question?" the cat said.

She placed her phone on a small tea table floating on the water and leaned comfortably against the pool.

“Ask,” Mu Jin said.

"When I become the richest man in the world, will I be able to support you?" the cat asked.

There was a sudden silence on the phone.

The cat brought up the topic of death again.

"No." Mu Jin finally answered her, leaving no room for negotiation.

The cat asked him, puzzled, "Whether the Mu family takes care of you or I take care of you, isn't it all the same?"

Mu Jin slowly frowned. "Jiu Maomao, where did this idea come from? Who taught you it?"

The cat said, "I didn't learn it from anyone... I figured it out myself."

Judging from her slightly proud voice, she seemed quite proud of this original idea?

Mu Jin finally patiently explained to her, "Jiu Maomao, do you think I can't support myself? Do you think I can't survive if I leave the Mu family?"

The cat said with a grin, "Ah Jin, it would be best if you could leave the Mu family! Come find me! I know you're very capable, but if I don't support you, what am I supposed to do? My life would be meaningless."

Mu Jin's eyelids twitched.

This cat always says nonsensical things.

If you don't raise him, what's the point of being human? Isn't that a bit of an exaggeration?

“Then let’s talk about it when you become the world’s richest man,” Mu Jin suddenly said.

"Ah Jin! You agreed! That's great! Wait a minute, let me see how far I am from becoming the world's richest person..."

The cat cheered and searched for the world's richest man's assets.

“Personal assets of 112 billion… How much is that? I think I only have a fraction of his, or maybe not much more?” Cat said.

Mu Jin seemed to chuckle, "Keep it up, you can do it."

Cat asked excitedly, "Ah Jin, do you think so too?"

"Hmm." Mu Jin didn't know why she was comforting the cat.

110 billion? That money isn't just sitting there waiting for some cat to grab it. What is she so excited about?

Cat said, "But I think it will take at least several years... Ah Jin, how about this? Can we pay in installments? Rounding up, I'm already two percent of the world's richest person, so I'll support two percent of you first, okay?"

Mu Jin said, "How come I don't know? What is two percent of me?"

The cat chuckled and said, "Isn't that simple? If we calculate based on a lifespan of one hundred years, two percent is two years. So, starting now, I'll take care of you for two years!"

The cat looked at the night sky. "The weather is beautiful tonight. There are no clouds and countless stars. The smiling eyes reflected countless tiny stars."

The cat thought it was a genius! It could even come up with such a method!

However, Mu Jin remained silent.

The cat asked again, "Is it good? Ah Jin... Ah Jin?"

The cat meowed a few times, then suddenly heard a busy tone from the phone. Ah Jin hung up the phone.

Cat tried calling again, but his phone was completely unreachable!

Cat looked at her phone for a while, unable to understand why Ah Jin had suddenly disappeared. After thinking for a moment, she put on a bath towel and ran out quickly.

On the other side, Mu Jin went into the water and picked up the phone that had fallen to the bottom. He shook it, and the screen was already black.

Looking at the wall, Mu Jin still called out, "Jiu Maomao?"

There was absolutely no response from the other end.

Mu Jin also stepped out of the hot spring, took a bath towel and wrapped it around his waist. He felt he should tell the cat, otherwise, he was afraid the cat would jump over the wall.

As Mu Jin stepped into the outer corridor, she had just opened the sliding door when someone suddenly bumped into her!

The cat never expected to bump into a wall, which was wet, slippery, and warm!

However, the cat almost fell over.

Mu Jin subconsciously grabbed the cat. The cat recognized Mu Jin and immediately hugged her, its hands wandering around a bit.

Mu Jin looked down at the cat with its innocent, smiling face, and the veins on her forehead bulged! "Jiu Maomao, let go!"

The cat didn't let go. She said with concern, "Ah Jin, it's so cold. Why aren't you wearing any clothes? Let me hold you so you can stay warm."

Mu Jin's voice was almost squeezed out through clenched teeth, "Thank you, but what you're doing is called taking advantage of someone."

The cat said with a grin, "Ah Jin, don't misunderstand me, this is called friction generating heat."

Mu Jin had witnessed firsthand how shameless this cat was. Reasoning with it was completely useless; he tried to pull it away, but instead of pulling it off, the towel around its waist was now teetering on the edge.

Mu Jin first rescued her own bath towel, then used one hand to pull the cat away with great difficulty.

He was holding the cat's hat in one hand and his own bath towel in the other, feeling like he had never been so disheveled before.

As the cat left, it casually touched his abs.

"Ah Jin, your fleshy parts are so soft to touch." Cat's eyes crinkled into crescents, now sparkling not with stars, but with a wolfish gleam. She quickly corrected herself, "I know, Ah Jin, you don't need to correct me, these are called muscles! Right!"

"Jiu Maomao, do you want to get beaten up?" Mu Jin asked with a gloomy face.

Cat is quite capable for making Mu Jin so angry that she changes her expression.

But the cat said, "Ah Jin, how could you hit me?"

Mu Jin really wanted to beat her up!

He pulled the cat aside, grabbed his clothes, went into the bathroom, closed the door, and locked it.

But then he thought, "Even without his room key, Jiu Maomao still got in, didn't she?" So, he suddenly stuck out a foot and blocked the door.

Cat walked to the door and said, "Ah Jin, I won't go in. You should come out now."

Mu Jin quickly got dressed. When he opened the door, his hair, still dripping wet, hung down, and his eyes, hidden beneath the strands, were slightly narrowed. He was clearly in much greater danger than before.

"Jiu Maomao, you've gotten quite bold," Mu Jin said.

Cat peeked into the bathroom and handed Mu Jin a towel. "No... Jin, I've always been very brave... Let me dry your hair!"

The cat excitedly made the suggestion.

However, Mu Jin took the towel, rubbed it on her head, and sat down on the bed.

"Jiu Maomao, who told you to break into my door?" Mu Jin looked at Maomao, who was becoming more and more open about her skills, showing them off one by one.

Slipping through doors and picking locks is really easy for me.

The cat moved a round wooden stool over and sat down next to Mu Jin. She said, "I was worried about you because I couldn't reach you by phone. I didn't even have time to knock on the door."

Luckily I didn't knock... otherwise I definitely wouldn't have had time to take advantage of her, the cat thought to itself.
