Chapter 324 Troublemaker and Fifty Million

Jiang Shaoze simply looked at the cat, offering no explanation whatsoever.

His aura was still so gloomy. Suddenly, Maomao felt that compared to him, she was a really good person!

Some people may wear human skin, but they may not necessarily do human things.

Cat looked at Jiang Shaoze and pondered. It seemed that the issue between him and Jiu Nanxun couldn't be resolved with just 20 million.

"Jiang Shaoze, I suggest you go see a doctor first, get your illness treated before you try to win over Jiu Nanxun," Maomao said with a smile.

Jiang Shaoze's face was somewhat gloomy. Cat was definitely the first, no, the second person to dare to call him sick to his face. Xiao Xun often said the same thing, but he didn't think there was anything wrong with it coming from Xiao Xun. However, it was a different story when it came from someone else.

"I am now the leader of the Fire Gate. You won't go back on your promise to me, will you?" Jiang Shaoze said.

The cat seemed to think for a moment, then chuckled, "What did I promise you? That you would marry Jiu Nanxun? I only said I would consider it, but I didn't say I would arrange for Jiu Nanxun to marry you. How can you be so naive?"

Jiang Shaoze glanced at the cat, his aura shifting. His patience seemed to be running out at any moment. When he was far away from Jiu Nanxun, he didn't seem to mind exposing his ferocity.

In particular, he felt that Jiu Maomao, this elusive person, was completely different from Xiao Xun; she was someone who could manipulate darkness with ease!

Even though she seemed easy to talk to, Jiang Shaoze could still sense her danger, which was quite rare for him!

"What else do you want me to do?" Jiang Shaoze asked directly.

Cat paced back and forth, seemingly troubled, and said, "I originally just wanted to control the Fire Gate, but now it seems a bit unworthy to sell out that silly little sister, Jiu Nanxun, for a mere Fire Gate."

"You think you can control me? Control the Fire Gate?" Jiang Shaoze seemed a little disdainful. He didn't expect that Maomao would actually express her thoughts so directly.

The cat said matter-of-factly, "Is that not allowed? So you think that Kunan Kaoru is not as important as Kamon?"

Jiang Shaoze said coldly, "Xiao Xun trusts you so much, yet you still use her to negotiate with me."

Cat slowly shook her head. "Jiang Shaoze, you seem to have misunderstood something. As I said, Fire Gate is dispensable to me. I just think that Jiu Nanxun likes you a little, so I'm keeping you around."

Jiang Shaoze seemed to suddenly freeze, his whole body stiffened, and all other words became superfluous. He only noticed the sentence, "Jiu Nanxun likes you a little."

"Really? Did she say that?" Jiang Shaoze asked anxiously, all his previous hostility vanished, and he was now as nervous as a student experiencing first love.

Cat looked at Jiang Shaoze strangely, and once again confirmed that this person was really sick!

"Hehe, Jiu Nanxun won't tell anyone. She said you're a pervert, a scumbag." Cat shattered Jiang Shaoze's expectations.

Jiang Shaoze was a little disappointed, but he was obviously much happier. His mood suddenly improved, and because of those words, he seemed to fall into some kind of relaxed fantasy. He paced back and forth slightly, no longer as calm as before. Perhaps he wanted to go to Jiu Nanxun's place now to confirm.

The cat was just watching this person act foolishly.

Finally, Jiang Shaoze asked, "Did you figure it out?"

His attitude suddenly improved, and his humble and eager-to-learn manner was really amusing to the cat.

"Does it even matter to me?" the cat asked.

Jiang Shaoze nodded and surprisingly said, "It works."

Cat opened her phone to see if Ah Jin had sent her a message. There was no message, but she saw Jiang Shaoze's contact name: 20 million.

She thought to herself, the illness is so serious, she should bear the pain and not earn that money. Jiu Nanxun has so many suitors, what if she falls for someone else? That would be fine too.

However, Jiang Shaoze suddenly said, "I've seen a doctor."

The cat looked at Jiang Shaoze.

The latter then said, "But..."

Then came a moment of silence.

Cat raised an eyebrow, not expecting Jiang Shaoze to bring this up. Cat said, "So you know you're sick too."

This time, Jiang Shaoze did not change his expression. He spoke up, which was rare for him, saying, "I have seen quite a few doctors, but none of them can cure me."

His tone seemed a little disappointed.

Cat instantly understood Jiang Shaoze's troubles. She also realized that Jiang Shaoze's illness required seeing a psychologist. However, how could someone like him cooperate with treatment?

Even if he knew he was sick, he wouldn't trust anyone and wouldn't entrust himself to a doctor for treatment.

Therefore, we can't blame the doctor; we can only say that he's beyond help.

Suddenly, the cat lost interest. She also felt that Jiang Shaoze had become troublesome, a real nuisance.

She knew it; Jiu Nanxun should stay away from him!

Cat stretched and yawned. She was leaving. Let Jiang Shaoze fend for himself.

Jiang Shaoze became unusually talkative, perhaps because she said something that made him very happy, and Jiang Shaoze's wariness of her dropped sharply.

He suddenly said, "Xiao Xun is my cure, but I hurt her. I know I was wrong. I hope... you will continue to help me."

"I can't help you." The cat glanced at him and said without any mercy.

Jiang Shaoze pursed his lips, and after a brief struggle, he said, "Some memories are too heavy for Xiao Xun. I just wanted to help her erase these memories, but... something unexpected happened, and her memories became confused. Moreover, she hates me because of this."
